Vote for Mickey Mouse

Over the course of the last week, a number of pro-life Catholics have articulated they are not going to vote for Romney/Ryan in November.

Most are intemperate gadflies, but several Catholics I deeply admire and respect have expressed their reservations, particularly after Romney said he 'supported' 'health of the mother' abortions.

Real pro-lifers know that the 'health of the mother' is the excuse used in most if not all cases of elective abortion. The thoughts of mothering a child of the man the woman is sleeping with brings "situational anxiety" which then "threatens her health". It is BS. (If you are interested in reviewing Church teaching on situations that legitimately threaten a mother's life, this is a great resource.)

Everyone reading here for any length of time knows what I think about the Mittens. Mittens has convictions. When people don't like them, he will get new ones. Stupid things come out of his mouth because he doesn't have the slightest idea what it's all about. He is just saying what is politically expedient and right now, it is politically expedient for him to be pro-life. IMO, he is not a proabort, but our experiences here in Massachusetts are not edifying.

Consequently, I admit, when I first read his 'health of the mother' reference,I had to run to my emergency supply of temperance, do some praying. What came to me was, this is not the time for the Mittens to be inconsistent. He's going to stick with the platform because that is his ride to the White House. He just not that into it and will recant. Which he did. Ryan really has the momentum of the agenda of the administration and that agenda is zealously pro-life, Christocentric, patriotic.

There are only two people who have any chance of being the POTUS and one of these individuals is a religious bigot who is taking out his hatred for the Catholic Church with a vengeance. Many souls will be tempted to surrender their salvation to feed their family. He is helping the taliban overthrow countries and slaughter Christians. The sovereignty of our country teeters at the edge of destruction. He spent four years creating race and economic riots. He thinks women are whores that require free pills -- IMO one step above female circumcision. He is immoral. Amoral. Despises Christ.

There is no contest here on what our responsibilities are for our children, for our countrymen and for the salvation of souls.

With Romney/Obama polls neck-and-neck, it is positively irresponsible to promote sitting this election out or throwing your vote into the toilet.

Fr. Groeschel's Boo Boo

Quite the dust up over an interview with Fr. Groeschel at the National Catholic Register.

There's plenty of commentary out in cyberspace on Fr. Groeschel's comments that to me, lacks truth and understanding.

Yes, sometimes a 13 year old who has been starved for love and attention will misunderstand the attention given to him from a teacher, priest, coach just about the time when their libido kicks in. They lack boundaries because they are in desperate need for affection and love. A mother/father/grandparent or guardian of a child is blessed with the job of nurturing emotions and sexuality. When that is not happening at home, when the child is left without context to understand and discipline - all kinds of things go awry. One of them is, any kind of affection can set off their libido and the relationship of a teacher, coach, priest, etc.

Crushes on teachers, coaches have been happening for centuries.

What was missing in the context of Fr. Groeschel's statements is that normal adults do not respond or do whatever it takes to tuck the situation back in, including removing oneself from direct contact with the child, if necessary.

If you note, Fr. Groeschel explains that in some situations when the priest is screwed up himself - I think he uses the example of a breakdown - the emotions and sexuality of the priest can be disordered. Consequently, rather than the things a normal adult does to put safeguards and boundaries in place, the child is taken advantage of and sexually abused.

While trying to explain this phenomenon, "seducer" was not a very good word for it.

He goes on to opine that perhaps, under the circumstances where the adult has had some kind of breakdown himself, there are some first instances of inappropriate sexual touching of a child may not always require sending the person to a penitentiary.

I'd say as a mother, if it were my child, any kind of groping or sexual touching by an adult, the police would be and should be callws. Obviously we know a person who does this is sick in the head. Could there ever be a situation where after evaluation, there is a course of treatment for a first time offender that wouldn't include jail time?

Maybe. But if the story gels and the priest gets convicted, he should be tagged and treated as a sex offender, so everyone in the community knows where he lives and what he at one time was capable of doing. It's not something normal adults do when they are stressed out. Something is missing in the hat rack.

It is not uncommon for a psychologist to have empathy for all kinds of sick people, even if and when they do something criminal, like abuse a child.

It was irresponsible for the 'interviewer' and editors at the National Catholic Register to, 1) not ask the right questions to get Fr. Groeschel to clarify, and 2) publish the thing.

It's one thing for the secular press to exploit something a Catholic says that obviously needed context and clarification. It's another thing for a Catholic newspaper to scandalize Fr. Groeschel, the faithful.

Increasingly, we are finding things published at the Register that show a lack of understanding of the Catholic religion and/or poor judgment. Don't know what it is, but there's a problem at the helm. You can't just throw articles from good journalists and writers into a Catholic newspaper. In addition to the talents of a journalist, the editing and publishing crew has to be on their game spiritually and have a deep understanding of the Catholic religion - and the faithful. They need to be seasoned and wise.

I don't know what is going on at EWTN, but they need to tighten up their newspaper.

Boston Catholics Ask Cardinal Sean to End Relationship with Jack Connors

Our friends at Boston Catholic Insider are calling for the "Archdiocese" to end the scandalous leadership roles of Jack Connors.

I am not a fan of the use of the word 'Archdiocese'. The "Archdiocese" is an inanimate thing that is incapable of appointing and empowering Jack Connors. The Cardinal appoints and empowers Jack Connors. The word "Archdiocese" is just another tactic of the Cardinal to keep himself at arms length from his own misfeasance and malfeasance. He uses the word to make it look like he has nothing to do with it, is unaware of it and does not have accountability to rectify the disorder he creates.

It's creepy and makes it impossible to believe they are capable of truth and good faith discussions.

When you take the time to read the article, be sure to get a load of the excuses the
Cardinal uses to keep people who empower and who are "smitten" with a murdering tyrant close to his miter and crozier:

“Finance Council members are not obligated to make public the rationale behind their decisions to support various organizations, programs, and persons,” said officials. “That a Finance Council member may offer his/her backing to a politician or political candidate who is in support of pro-choice policies does not define or exhaust a Finance Council member’s position on issues pertaining to respect for life.”

Get it?

When the Cardinal appoints a man working his fingers to the bone to elect a tyrant who supports decapitating infants alive, killing children who survive attempted murder - the Cardinal's appointment does not obligate their appointees to explain the rationale to support the murdering organizations or persons.

People financing the neo-nazi's, klu klux klan and ethnic cleansing do not exhaust an appointees position on issues pertaining to respect for life.

Don't you realize there might be other accomplishments that would inspire the Cardinal's appointees to back people who want to kill other people?

Why doesn't the Cardinal just drop the word "archdiocese" and admit it is him. Why doesn't he stop pretending the train wreck isn't his fault because he keeps getting bum advice from Bryan Hehir and man up to his own convictions. Why doesn't he just admit that killing unborn children, the sick and elderly just isn't offensive enough to him to keep Jack Connors off of his advisory boards and out of the Chancery?

The fact that the people in the pews would have to ask him to send Jack Connors packing demonstrates the incompetence of the Cardinal's judgment.

Kudos to our friends at BCI.

Akin's Crucible

I was pleased as punch to read that Akin has taken the lead again.

The most sensible thing I read during all the silly commotion over what Akin said was posted by Mike Huckabee on Facebook - "Who ordered the Code Red on Akin?"

Frankly, after seeing a clip from Karl Rove, I wondered if it was him. Guess we'll never know.

Here's what Akin was articulating:

It has always been accepted, well known and widely accepted biological fact in obstetrics that a woman's stress and anxiety is a contributing factor in fertility problems. It doesn't cause infertility but it does contribute. Women with fertility problems who are experiencing stress and anxiety are advised, counseled and treated. Consequently, the anxiety and stress of rape reduces the risk of pregnancy.

In the debate about abortion, abortion advocates use rape as a straw man. Rape is a terrible crime. If the rapist kills the woman after he rapes her, that is a separate and more serious crime. Just like killing a child conceived during that crime is a separate crime.

It is not politically correct but it is the truth.

Begging your pardon...

Mrs. Romney is a beautiful woman. I don't mean to be unkind, but the curiosity is killing me. Do you think the GOP vetted her speech?

Painful.

falsehood - the mark of the devil

Good reading from the Pope.

“Judas,” said Pope Benedict, “could have left, as many of the disciples did; indeed, he would have left if he were honest. Instead he remained with Jesus. He did not remain because of faith, or because of love, but with the secret intention of taking vengeance on the Master.”

Cardinal Dolan Will Bestow His Blessings at Democratic National Convention

What a political celebrity Cardinal Dolan has turned out to be.

A jolly, jolly man indeed.

The Cardinal Cushing of Gotham City.

Yesterday, Cardinal Dolan was in the news writing a letter to each of the candidates asking them to sign a 'civility pledge'.

How much weirder is this going to get?

LOL.

Cardinal Dolan and Helen Gurley Brown

I've been home sick for a few weeks (shingles-ugh)and from time to time, turning on the home network. You'd think that would be a safe haven but alas, every ten minutes Barack Hussein runs a commercial with floozies taling about the terror they are experiencing in a country that makes them pay for their own contraception.

Bleached blondes wearing make up from Walmart. They look and sound ridiculous.

The democrats believe the nature of women to be such uncontrollable whores that the country needs to all pitch in to pay $10/month for their contraception for them.

What's next in the democrat's respect for women campaign?

Female circumcision?

If the Republicans were savvy, they would round senior citizens who can't afford their heart meds, cancer patients who can't afford treatments and meds, patients who need an organ transplant and can't afford it and put together commercials taking women, who want us to subsidize their sex with men using their body parts as a repository for sperm to the shed.

Even immoral and amoral people in this country can sink their teeth into that cannard.

How did women get so stupid?

Helen Gurly Brown?

I was disturbed by this story linked in Dawn's article at the Register.

It is supposed to be a cutesy article about Cardinal Dolan dancing with Brown on the steps of a Catholic school after a sizeable donation from Brown.

Ms. Brown was leaning on a cane and being supported by an aide when Archbishop Dolan pulled up in his car. As Kevin Meenan, the school’s fund-raising director, recalled on Tuesday, Archbishop Dolan had never been to the school, and he walked slowly toward the building to take in its elegant brick-and-stone facade.

Ms. Brown tried to walk forward to greet him, but she started tottering. Archbishop Dolan spotted her and jogged up the steps to help. Meanwhile, the school’s marching band burst into the Cardinal Hayes marching song, inspiring the archbishop to take Ms. Brown in his arms and twirl her around.

The dancing lasted only for a minute or so, Mr. Meenan said, but he will not soon forget the image of the bearlike archbishop squiring Ms. Brown. He wore his black bishop’s garment and a pink cap; she wore a drop-waist dress, black fur and lace-topped stockings.

“Everybody’s clapping, everybody’s amazed,” he said...

But in other respects, Cardinal Hayes was an odd choice for the woman who spent years teaching women to enjoy sex — premarital, marital and extramarital — and embrace Catholic taboos like birth control. Though her family was Protestant, she was not religious as an adult, Ms. Scanlon said.

“She didn’t have much use, actually, for organized religion,” Ms. Scanlon said. In fact, when Ms. Brown was marketing “Sex and the Single Girl,” her best-selling 1962 book, she tried to bring it to the Catholic Church’s attention in the hopes that church leaders would decide to censor it. (She thought it would be good for sales; they ignored her attempt.)

Almost a half-century later, however, she was pledging $1 million to a bastion of Catholic education — and dancing in the archbishop’s arms.

Isn't that precious.

You know what hit me with this article? The Scriptural reading about it being easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man getting into Heaven.

I never thought about this before, but the obstacle is actually the bishops and priests. People with power and money have little chance of being shepherded to their redemption by a bishop/priest because the object becomes getting money out of them.

Do a jig and a photo op, get the money and run like the wind back to the chancery/rectory to cash the checks.

Rather than lead his priests with the witness on how to be a physician of souls, he's he best gall dang jig and a photo op fundraiser in the Episcopal Conference.

In a lot of ways, I suppose that's what we've all become, those of us left sitting in the pews. They withold the tools of salvation because they are offensive to people who reject them.

Helen Gurley Brown's Culture of Use pales in comparison to the presbyteral and episcopal Culture of Use.

Quite the cacophony to people who can see what is happening spiritually.

Oh.

Wait...WHAT?

Obama the Catholic Prayer Nazi

No prayers for you.

Righteous Anger (from Fr. Rutler)

Here's the link I promised late last week to Fr. Rutler's piece on Anger.

I love Fr. Rutler's writings. He harnesses our conflicts with sin, sloth, cowardice and ego and reveals our flaws with an accuracy that is startling.

He penetrates, and there is so much substance, I always find myself reading what he's written numerous times.

When I read it last week, I wondered if he has personally addressed our little problem with Cardinal Dolan. Picked up the phone. Sent his piece over to the Chancery in an overnight package marked "URGENT".

The reality is, righteous acts are retaliated against. Addressing the useful idiots in the bureaucracy of our Chanceries has consequences that blockade the salvation of souls. Corruption and cowardice flourishes in the temperance and prudence necessary to feed the lambs.

Anyway, I highly recommend reading the piece if you have not done so already.

Now then, there is a problem and it is this: the notion that the antidote to sinful anger is timidity. No saint, naturally placid or aggressive, makes that mistake. “God has not given us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of power and love and self-control.” (2 Timothy 1:7) The cure for both kinds of sinfulness, angry and timid, is the virtue of courage. St. John Chrysostom wrote to Timotheus: “For if the wrath of God were a passion, one might well despair of being unable to quench the flame which he had kindled by so many evil doings; but since the Divine nature is passionate, even if He punishes, even if He takes vengeance, He does this not with wrath, but with tender care, and much loving kindness; wherefore it behooves us to be of much courage, and to trust in the power of repentance.”

I do not know which is worse: sinful anger, which thinks that it is just, or timidity, which thinks that it is charitable. In our media-conscious culture, timidity easily takes the form of affected joviality, hoping to diffuse tension by amiability: a hug and a slap on the back and then let the “dialogue” begin. That may work with victims of evil but not with the minions of the Evil One himself. Prophecy is not birthed by Hegelian synthesis. During his forty days in the desert, our Lord never joked in the hope of charming the dark and brooding spirit who can only laugh at others and never with them. The soldiers put a funny hat on Christ, but he made it a crown. His benignity destroyed Satan’s burlesque. Anyone in a position of moral authority who thinks he might diffuse the tension between good and evil by playing the minstrel, only signals his own insecurity. That would be like the Queen of England wearing a Groucho nose at the opening of Parliament. Laughter is a medicine but it can also been an opiate, and when someone is constantly laughing there must be a deep disquiet when the lights go out. Hilaire Belloc, never to be confused with a Smile Button, wrote: “We sit by and watch the Barbarian, we tolerate him; in the long stretches of peace we are not afraid. We are tickled by his irreverence, his comic inversion of our old certitudes and our fixed creeds refreshes us; we laugh. But as we laugh we are watched by large and awful faces from beyond: and on these faces there is no smile.”

Commenting on our Lord’s Eucharistic declaration that he is the Bread come down from heaven, Pope Benedict XVI recently said that Jesus knew exactly was he was doing in addressing the crowd “to break their illusions and, especially, force his disciples to decide.” St. Paul wanted Timothy to be temperate, but never a man pleaser. Timidity is not charity. It is distraction from danger. On the Titanic, some passengers noticed bits of ice on the deck, so the band played ragtime a little louder. St. Augustine said, “God does not need my lie.” And of course we also have Churchill’s definition of timidity incarnate: “An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.”

St. Alphonsus Liguori was not timid when he counseled: “Even when correcting faults, superiors should be kind.” But his kindness was the engine of his zeal for the first of the Seven Spiritual Works of Mercy: to admonish sinners. The Confessors and Martyrs, ancient and new, had only one kind of Anger Management Therapy: kneeling down and saying, “Bless me Father, for I have sinned.” Then they got up and went to work.

Scott Brown Says He's Pro-Choice & Anne Fox Cracks the Code (Again) This means he is Pro-Life!

There is so much going on in national politics, those of you outside of Massachusetts may be missing all the hoopla around the Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren who are in a tight race for the US Senate seat previously held by Ted Kennedy.

In one of the first hints that the American people had grown weary of Obama and his iron-pantied gimme girls, Brown won seat in a race with Martha Coakley, despite Ted's widow endorsing and campaigning Coakley.

You may remember this shining moment: Early in the race, Warren was caught in a big fib about her ethnicity.

A tough whopper to trump, but this is Massachusetts, where Anne Fox of MCFL has been circling pro-life wagons with her pants on fire for about a decade.

When Scott Brown re-affirmed he is a supporter of abortion, Anne Fox said that while she believes him, she believes Brown's stated support for abortion and promises to protect abortion, fund abortion...drumroll...IS PRO-LIFE!!

BROWN:

Brown has seized on Akin’s remarks to bolster his abortion-rights credentials. He was the first Senate Republican to call for Akin to abandon his campaign, and he urged his party “to recognize in its platform that you can be pro-choice and still be a good Republican.”

On Wednesday, in response to a reporter’s question over whether he would pledge to “never vote in the Senate to curb women’s reproductive rights,” Brown said he would agree.

“I have a long record of this already,” he said. “I’ll promise that. I’ve already been on record on that.”

In 2005, he sought to allow doctors and nurses to opt out of offering emergency contraception to rape victims if the health care workers had religious objections. Brown later voted for the bill without his changes, meaning doctors and nurses would be required to offer emergency contraception, regardless of their beliefs.

In addition, Brown cosponsored the Women’s Right to Know Act, which would require women to wait 24 hours before having an abortion and to review pictures and information detailing the development of their fetus.

But Brown has also taken votes in the state Senate and the US Senate that were applauded by abortion-rights supporters. In 2007, he voted to create a 35-foot buffer zone to keep protesters away from abortion clinics. In 2012, he voted to repeal a law that required women in the military who are victims of rape to pay for abortions at military facilities. He also opposed an effort to cut off federal funding for Planned Parenthood.

FOX

“We consider him a senator who votes prolife,” said Anne Fox, president of the Massachusetts Citizens for Life. “We have to take his word for it when he says he is prochoice. But what we’re looking for is someone who votes prolife, and he does.”

There you have it.

I know what you're wondering...

What persons in their right mind would elect such a misguided individual to be President of Massachusetts Citizens for Life?

It's an unsolved mystery to authentic Catholic grassroots pro-lifers and pro-life candidates who have been sabotaged by MCFL.

Cardinal Dolan GOP Convention Benediction

Have you been keeping up with the latest 2012 POTUS election fracas?

Catholics are all that.

“We’re going to have outreach to Catholics in a coordinated, organized effort — state by state, diocese by diocese, parish by parish and pew by pew,” Mr. Flaherty said in an interview.

Evidently Cardinal Dolan volunteered to do benediction for both the RNC and DCN. So far, only the RNC has taken him up on it.

Flaherty tells us Romney and Cardinal O'Malley are tight.

Why...Romney even traveled to Rome with the Archbishop..practically held his crozier as the Pope put the red hat on his head.

Very interesting.

The luminaries at the DNC must be foaming at the mouth. They thought they put 'the Catholic Vote' out of its power. After four years of trickle-up-poverty "Yes We Can" and "The Changes We Can Believe In" are a dud. Here they are standing face-to-face with a resurrection of that which they were sure they slayed.

What do you think they'll do?

They thought they were save and have already launched a full-fledged persecution against Catholics.

The Bishops and practicing Catholics are suing Obama. The nuts on the bus, oops, I mean nuns on the bus under an edict from Rome to reverse their apostacies or face extinction. They are gorging themselves in swanky hotels, saluting a woman who thinks a race of people are going to hop out of our i-pads on December 21.
Even the waitresses at the hotel turned the lights off to avoid looking at them. One former DNC head of the 'Catholic Vote a convicted sex offender/felon/jailbird for recruiting homeless crack addicts and teenagers for his Columbus Ohio whorehouse. His replacement hustled out of Malta for making an ass of himself.

The are up the creek without a paddle.

This was funny:

The invitation to Cardinal Dolan circumvented church protocol, said the cardinal’s spokesman, Joseph Zwilling. Usually, the local bishop gives the prayer at the convention. So when the Romney campaign asked Cardinal Dolan to deliver the benediction, the cardinal first checked with Bishop Robert Lynch of St. Petersburg, Fla., who gave his approval, Mr. Zwilling said.

Bishop Lynch was busy. Had to paint his toenails, catch up on laundry.

Cardinal Dolan accepted but said that he would be giving only a prayer, not an endorsement, Mr. Zwilling said. The cardinal also said that he had informed the Democratic Party that he would accept a similar invitation from it. A spokesman for the Obama campaign said that it had not offered one but suggested that it was close to announcing its religious lineup.

The co-chairmen of Catholics for Obama are scholars, prominent laypeople like Victoria Reggie Kennedy, the widow of Senator Ted Kennedy, and politicians like Gov. Martin O’Malley of Maryland, Representative Tim Ryan of Ohio and Senator Richard J. Durbin of Illinois.

A doozy of a lineup ought to come out of that think tank.

Anybody know anything about the local bishop? His credentials would lead one to suspect he's a Roman.

What do you think? Shall we guess?

Here are my top three predictions on religious benediction at the Dems Conference.

3. Sandra Fluke will stand on the stage and throw out condoms with crosses on them.

2. Steve Krueger and Patrick Whelan will douse the Barack and Joe with holy water.

1. They will all parade in behind a picture of Cardinal O'Malley between Jack Connors and the Kennedy widows.

If they hurry, Barbara Hubbard might be available.

Cardinal Dolan and the Al Smith Dinner... WWJD?

I apologize for the infrequency of posts. My plate is a bit full right now. It takes me several days to put thoughts together and publish. By the time it's ready, it seems the controversy is not newsworthy!

In between happenings here at Camp McKinley, I have been reading a bit and thinking about the hoopla around the Al Smith Dinner.

I've read the Cardinal's response to criticism and the responses of the usual suspects who rush to sweep corruption and cowardice of our esteemed episcopal leaders under the carpets.

The message seems to be we are just not as holy and humble as Cardinal Dolan, Mark Shea, Bill Donohue (I'll get to him in a minute), etc. Their manifestos on charity in response to the objections of Catholics, explain, in one way or another, how they are all the imitation of the Christ.

That Cardinal Dolan would lead a crusade of our fellow Catholics to construe our objections as some kind of contest over piety came as a surprise to me. To use Bill Donohue's caricature of the fruit of his conversation with Cardinal Dolan, we see ourselves as 'the piety police'.

I want to state, right here and now, and for the record: I do not contest that I, Carol Mary McKinley, would come in last place in a contest for holiness. Furthermore I zealously concur that Cardinal Dolan, Mark Shea, Bill Donohue are much holier and pious than this miserable sinner. I have little doubt that others objecting to the Cardinal's invitation of Obama to the Al Smith dinner feel precisely the same way.

Holy, holy, holy is Cardinal Dolan, Mark Shea, Bill Donohue, et. al.

Nolo contendere.

Now that I've got that squared away I wish to re-affirm the factual information relative to the Cardinal's assertion that his invitation to dine Obama is the execution of Christ's maxim to dine with sinners vs. Christ's actual ministry as it appears in Scripture.

When Christ drank water from the well of an adulteress to converse with her,we see an interaction between a Jew and a Samaritan woman. The content of the interaction involved prophecy, enumerating the number of "husbands", disclosing His Knowledge that she was not married to the man she was shacking up with, affirmation of the Source of Divinity and living water, which He invited her to drink for the sake of her own salvation. He turned the lights on. Made crystal clear to her what the Source of salvation was, and that her own immoral practices placed her in peril.

By the end of his interactions with the sinner and other Samaritans in the village over the following few days, here is the fruit of the knowledge Christ imparted:

Those who heard the content of Christ's interactions said the following: “We no longer believe because of your word; for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is truly the savior of the world."

Alternately, the purpose of the Cardinal Dolan's dinner is to raise money for his Archdiocese of New York. Obama is booked as an entertainer. The content of the conversations will be telling jokes, political allies mocking each other over good food, good quality bourbon and cigars.

We do the same thing here in Boston on St. Paddy's day. To the best of my knowledge, not a single politician in the history of the event, taking a taxi home from the event three sheets to the wind, has ever subsequently showed up at RCIA.

If I'm mistaken, please correct me.

See the difference?

The content of the interactions between the Samaritan and Christ were interactions between the Divine Physician and the soul in need of healing and conversion. After the woman, the sinner, arose from sharing water with Christ, she walked away healed.

Year after year at the St. Paddy's Day roasts, the politicians walk away retaining their ignorance and continue passing legislation that murders and kills. Year after year, decade after decade.

Any reasonably prudent person can therefore conclude, Christ's ministry was not about sharing food and drink, telling jokes and laughing it up.

To be clear, Cardinal Dolan is not dining with the sinner for the purpose of converting him or anyone else in the room. He is not assembling for the purposes of salvation and conversion. Obama is his court jester to raise money for the Archdiocese.

It is absurd - and I can't even bring myself to believe it is in good faith - for the Cardinal or anyone else to pretend this gathering is about Cardinal Dolan's imitation of Christ's ministry 'eating with sinners'.

The Cardinal's actions three weeks before an election has the potential and no doubt will be used by Obama's political team to give the appearance the Cardinal honored Obama and they can therefore cast their ballots for Obama. When the Cardinal weighed the consequences to our country, to the children slaughtered under this regime, the sick and imperfect who are heading to the death camps to be euthanized in the next four years, he made a 'pastoral' decision to use Obama as his cash cow.

There isn't a single person in the room of the Al Smith dinner who walk away from the interactions imparted with the knowledge necessary to know Who is the Christ, the Divine Source of Knowledge and Salvation.

It will do just the opposite as the interaction will be used to lend credibility to Obama as the savoir of the world.

The Cardinal's objectives are about the sound of "ca-ching". Consequently, the Al Smith dinner does not qualify for theological clearances of the salvific actions of Christ.

This plebe is here to remind you that the Cardinal's event is about food, booze, cigars and money.

If the Cardinal and his flash mob of the authentic holy Catholic elite want to continue on their path of mocking 2000 years of theology, perhaps they should open up the Al Smith dinner to other notorious sinners so they can be really, really holy?

President Obama's political allies have rekindled the ancient practice of
crucifixions.

If Cardinal Dolan was really, really nice, the Muslim brotherhood would be invited to the Al Smith dinner. "When I was hungry you gave me food." WWJD?

this fella? WWJD?

How about hitting the jackpot and inviting these sinners from Taliban? WWJD?

How about the Kurds? I'll bet they are hungry. WWJD?

These groups rising in the ranks of our country, born of the race and economic hatred being fed to our fellow countrymen by the Obama administration? WWJD?

If you haven't seen the fruit of Cardinal Dolan making phone calls to Catholics turning them into ferocious attack dogs against righteous Catholics, check out Bill Donohue on Lou Dobbs:

See how a Cardinal can turn the money and power behind his crozier into a lightening rod?

Kempis eat your heart out.

As a friend recently said about the Catholic League, which just about sums up the response from the 'piety police':

"Thanks Bill. Perhaps another controversy about lights on a building will come along and you can mobilize your grassroots members around the crusade".

Nero fiddles while Rome burns.

Is this the unification of a shepherd of Christ's One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church?

Making phone calls to turn Catholics against one another because his widdle feelings are wounded? He can't look himself in the mirror and say - Gee, I may have made an error in judgment (and theology)here"?

If Catholics like Bill Donohue are going to turn chicken sh*t when they get a phone call from F Troop at the Chancery, rather than showing up on Lou Dobbs to do the Cardinal's bidding, might they simply consider tiptoeing away to hide under their rocks? Leave righteous people to do the work they don't have the spine to do themselves?

Go on...take the money and run.

Pilot Coverage of LCWR Swanky Event

Nothing about the pagan ritual and nazi salute, but three lovely paragraphs about the screwball speaker.

The St. Louis gathering was the first time the organization had assembled since the release of the April 18 Vatican assessment, which said reform was needed to ensure LCWR's fidelity to Catholic teaching in such areas as abortion, euthanasia, women's ordination and homosexuality.

Barbara Marx Hubbard, the main speaker Aug. 8, essentially told the sisters to embrace the notion of change and growth reflected in biblical passages that speak of rebirth and "making all things new."

Hubbard is an author, speaker and educator known for promoting a view called "conscious evolution."

It must be a coincidence they avoid explaining what her creepy pagan ideas actually mean.

She was led into the assembly, as were the next day's panelists, by a sister playing chimes and other sisters swaying and waving colored scarves.

She urged the women religious women seated at tables of eight in the dimly lit ballroom to recognize that life comes out of chaos and through particularly difficult struggles.

Dimly lit?

A safety policy for the hotel staff in a "seed bed" of 50 shades of crazy?

Hubbard pointed out that although she is not Catholic, she was drawn to the work of the sisters and called them "the best seed bed I know for evolving the church and the world in the 21st century."

Does anyone know if the paper copy had a picture of Hubbard's Westfalia shaped like a spaceship?

BTW - This is the first picture I saw of Hubbard from the side. Is she with child?

Our Boston Chancery crew was so captivated by the LCWR gathering, it merited a second article.

I didn't know Archbishop Carlson wore glasses.

If nothing else, it brings great comfort to know these are Obama/Biden's go-to Catholics.

Maybe this would be a perfect halftime show at Cardinal Dolan's Al Smith Circus?

It is a suffering to open the newspaper operated by our Cardinal and read half-truths and willful distortions of what transpired at the LCWR Conference.

It certainly condones Hubbard and her, quite literally, insane "belief" that a new species of human beings will be born on December 21 on the internet, where they are all going to 'co-create' a race of human beings and the rituals that took place in that room.

The Cardinal is selling the ideas of a lunatic in his newspaper.

We have seen seven years now of the Cardinal's passive-aggressive promotion of dissent, the dismantling of 2000 years of Catholicism, the erection of the antichurch and his assistance, nudges and winks to the revolution of communism led by his buddy Fr. Bryan Hehir.

His tenure here has been a full blown disaster. In every conceivable way.

Pray for us.

Cardinal Dolan's Letter of Excuses on the Al Smith Dinner Dust Up

I'm sure you've all read it by now.

He is holed up in the Chancery comforting himself from blistering critics, reminding himself that Jesus ate with sinners.

Don't we all realize that if didn't sit down and eat with people who disagree with him, he'd be eating alone?

How condescending. What does he think parents are doing with children from puberty to age 30?

Second Vatican Council
Engagement
Dialogue
Civility
Respect

Is this from the Onion?

Mary Ann Kreitzer asks a brilliant question, do you suppose for one nanosecond that if Obama's policies legalized stabbing in the neck and sucking out the brains of Bishops, he'd be inviting him to entertain wealthy donors with jokes at his frau-frau event?

After a phone call from the Cardinal, Bill Donohue has had an epiphany: If we want to change the culture, we must book swanky events and invite political oppressors to entertain us.

That mission statement pretty much puts him right out of business. I'm on the edge of my seat. Does that mean he'll be booking his own retirement event hosted by Nancy Pelosi and Kathleen Sebelius?

I wish we thought of that before the twin towers and 2000 Americans were blown to smitherines.

Think of the possibilities.

We could turn Homeland Security into a Five Star Restaurant.

Hillary and Barack's Operation Ethnic Cleansing of Catholics and Christians in Serbia and the Middle East could all be avoided over falafel.

Think of all the lives that could have been saved if the Third Reich had been invited to entertain donors over a little wienershnitzel in a Chancery in Auschwitz.

Mange.
Bottoms up.

When they look at us sitting in the pews, do you think the Bishops see rubber balls at the ends of our noses?

Let's be clear about what this is and what it is not.

Cardinal Dolan is suffering from the same affliction that got the best of St. Peter. When the enemy is set to murder and execute, "saveth thine own backside".

This manifests itself by running into the camp of the enemy to mingle among them, gathering around their fire to keep your flesh safe and warm.

The name of the affliction begins with the letter "C" and rhymes with "Howard".

Your Eminence, We are here to remind you that God sees what you are doing.

More Woodstock from the Fringe at America Magazine

How can anyone keep their mind from wandering from the fifty-year-old drivel?

Two sentences into every paragraph, I check out.

The crucible of being one's own divine source: Insanity.

Milwaukee Irish Fest Takes First Place Blue Ribbon in 2012 Grow A Spine Category

Check this out.

Why didn't they just insert the Word "Catholic" between "Irish" and "Fest"?

Catholicism is as immutable to the Irish culture and character as the freckles on our faces.

Do you think for a nanosecond that the offering free admission at an African festival to attendees of ancient cultural dance would draw civil rights activists?

This is really getting ridiculous.

Next year pull the rug out from underneath the pagans and religious bigots. Make the whole darn thing Irish Catholic. Let them take their cans of soup to the food pantries and other places that feed the poor, like the rest of us.

Better yet, look around your own community and see who is suffering and spend your own time and money taking offering them nutritional substance or shelter. Those of you sitting on your duff at swanky hotels gorging yourself on fine foods, smitten because you've paid a penny on your tax dollars thinking this is social justice - here's a 411: Some of use the money in our own wallets to take care of the poor - something you will never know, have no right to know.

The poverty the government keeps our enslaved to, has gone on generation after generation. It isn't enough money to live on. They need more. It time we give them more.

Irish Catholics have every right and duty to pass down to the next generation our immutable Catholicity that to the next generation.

Folks, we can't be giving away our freedoms like this. Grow a spine. Think smart.

Admit it...Paul Ryan Scares the Ever Living Sh*t out of You

From the Onion.

I’m young, I’m handsome, I’m smart, and I’m articulate. And that scares the ever-loving sh*t out of you. You can pretend like you have this thing in the bag, but you know good goddamn well that this race just got real interesting, real fast....

Is it because, even if you strongly disagree with my beliefs on Medicare, Social Security, women’s rights, and marriage equality, you know my talent as a speaker and my well-thought-out approach to these issues—no matter how radical and convoluted you find them—might just be enough to win over independent voters?

Do you get chills just thinking about how strong my appeal actually is?

I have another question for you: How scared are you that I can convince people I’m right? Because I’m good at it. No, I’m really good at it. You see, I know how to turn up the charm and charisma without putting people off. Then I back up what I’m saying with arguments that, when they come out of my mouth, sound completely accurate and well-reasoned. And I do it with such passion that people automatically recognize me as a man with deep convictions he will stand up for, no matter what.

The American people love that sh*t. They love it.

Great way to start the day.

Nicholas Carfardi Conspiracy Theory: Mitt Romney was behind the murders of Archbishop Romero

All his favorite obsessions are mentioned in his latest - Adultery, masturbation and voting.

My semiannual look-see at the National Catholic Reporter, those seem to be the themes of all of their writers.

Here's a beauty from Nicholas Carfardi.

By the way...what ever happened to the Malta guy? Whats his face? Carfardi seems to have stepped into his role of flinging the dung.

I digress.

Carfardi has quite a conspiracy theory going on. He builds his case that Romney killed Archbishop Romero and helped slaughter the Salvadorians and consequently, Obama is more prolife and it's Romney who should be disinvited from the Al Smith dinner.

That's a doozy.

Barack Obama Social Justice 411 for Catholics

Have you noticed we're not hearing the silly slogans like 'yes we can' coming out of Obama's camp during this election season?

Statistics do not tell a pretty story about the impact of Barack Hussein's economic recovery ideas and social justice objectives for the poor.

For Catholics contemplating the plight of the poor, the facts about plans Obama has executed during his tenure in Washington have actually opressed the poor and benefitted the wealthy.

It's about the economy stupid.

Informing Catholics about magnitude of Obama's social injustices to the poor should be an important priority for the next few months.

While gathering information for this post, and others in the future, I was shocked by how bad things actually have become under the Obama administration. He is ran the country right into the ground.

Here are some rather alarming facts:

The poverty statistics are appalling. When Barack Obama took office, the official U.S. poverty rate stood at 14.3% and the number of the American poor stood at a record 43.6 million. In the most recent poverty figures available to us (for 2010), those numbers have actually risen - to 15.1% and to 46.2 million...

There are more than 46 million people (one American in seven) currently in receipt of food stamps, 15.5 million children living in poverty, and 21 million students receiving subsidized lunches (up from 18 million in 2006-7)...

When Barack Obama took office, the unemployment rate in the U.S. economy was 7.6%, and very quickly thereafter became 10.2% (November 2009). It is now down to 8.1%...

over 5 million Americans have been out of work for over 27 weeks (the figure in 2007 was 1.2 million)...

Overall indeed, the unemployment situation is now so dire that as recently as November 2011, more than half of all unemployed Americans had exhausted their unemployment benefits - benefits that the Census Bureau estimates keep more than 3 million people from just slipping below the official poverty level for their size of family...

Why this persistence of unemployment? Mainly because job creation has slowed significantly in the contemporary U.S. economy...

And well they might, for the long-term job creating capacity of the contemporary U.S. economy is also slowing down...

a huge proportion of the jobs created since June 2009 (maybe 9 in every 10) have been purely temporary in nature...

The result is that even those currently employed face growing pressures linked to inadequate pay, lack of worker rights and rampant job insecurity...

Alongside falling housing values and slow job growth, the other great driver of continuing economic stagnation is this slow pace of income growth: a slow pace set in motion by the steady erosion of manufacturing wages and the disproportionate concentration of new jobs in sectors that traditionally pay poorly...

Instead of coinciding with rising middle class incomes, the first term of the Obama Administration has been marked by yet another period of growing income and wealth inequality. In contemporary America, as middle class families struggle to cover their bills and the ranks of the poor continue to swell, the gap between productivity and wages goes on rising, and the difference between pay at the top and pay at the bottom gets ever wider...

The numbers are again shaking. In 2010, the first year of the recovery from the great recession, a staggering 93% of the total income gain in the U.S. economy went to the top one percent of income earners;" and in 2011 (the second year of the recovery) "CEOs were paid, on average, 231 times more than workers ...

And, this article did not come from a bastion of Catholic orthodoxy. It comes to you from HuffPo.

Let's make informing Catholics that Obama is starving the poor, shall we?

How do you tell Paul Ryan Has Energized the Vote?

The enemies of the Catholic Church recycle talking points from a room full of polyester-pantied heretic nuns.

What exactly to these dames do for the poor?

How is riding around on bus griping doing anything to serve the poor? They are feeding themselves, not the poor.

Why not take the money they are spending and actually give it to the poor?

The humble nuns whose fearless leaders take one million dollars worth of salary for themselves gathered recently at this swanky hotel to talk about how much other people don't care about the poor:

Yes, yes, receive THEM. It's all about them.

Something very, very disturbing about that gesture. Can anyone see who they were saluting?

Can't put my finger on it.

Is it me or does it resemble the gestures in this:

Furthermore, it sure looks like most of them are overeating. They could all give up half the food they're eating and perhaps eradicate poverty.

This is what is left of Obama's Catholic base? He doesn't even have the Catholic Bishops anymore.

Obama's antiCatholic policies were heard from every pulpit, driven by the US Catholic Bishops.

Bishop Lori instructs Catholics that they can't vote for a candidate who supports intrinsic evils - like killing children and the like.

Catholic Bishops vow to resist the totalitarian regime of Barack Hussein.

The Catholic Church sues Obama.

191 Bishops in the USCCB send nastygram to Obama - 100% of Catholic dioceses.

Catholic Bishops vow to continue to fight against Obama.

A bunch of rich nuns living off of their fat driving themselves to swanky hotels is quite a social justice program. The problem is, the starving and poor are not the beneficiaries of the expensive meals, cushy beds and room service. They are.

They don't make very credible complainants.

Peace and Freedom

Continuing on today's theme, there's a fantastic post at Redneck Reflections. Hat tip to Chris!

Last week in his homily, the priest said something about peace and freedom that was brilliant. You cannot have Peace and Freedom. It is impossible for peace and freedom to coexist. You can have one or the other.

The era of peace ushered by the Vatican II buffoons took away the freedom to teach the tools for salvation. Somewhere between Jane Fonda and the bongs, the conduct of the priests and nuns and bishop described in Redneck Reflections first eroded the freedom to teach within Christ's Mystical Body. The generation cut off from being suckled on truth were fed the fruit coming from their sexcapades, heterosexual and homosexual, bisexual or whatever have you. The flock took the temptations offered to them by our own nuns and priests and Bishops(and continue to be offered them from the Sanctuary that belongs to Christ Crucified) out into the world. They tempted the objects of their sexual desires. Those people fell and so on and so forth. But the loss of our freedom began and begins in the sanctuary. The flock is robbed and the Bishop sits silent, or worse, makes his own peace with the terrorists.

God sees what Cardinal Dolan is doing. He is saving his own flesh from what he knows is coming down the pike. The New York Times loves it. But those who see with the soul word "class" see another word inside of class. When preceded by the word "horses", one can better caricature his actions of 'peace'.

People who run to the shelter of this kind of peace are fueled by cowardice.

It's true that in this kind of era of peace, we are not incarcerated. We were not hunted by vigilantes out to kill us. But that is not freedom. It's peace of our flesh and blood that was purchased with silence and souls who have been lost by our cowardice.

When the balance between peace from being incarcerated and killed loses souls than Christ can bear, an error of freedom is ushered in. Like anyone who carries righteous anger for a person or person who kills and murders your own children, family members, people we love and care about, the error of freedom is ushered in accompanied with God's vengeance and anger.

The loss of our freedom in this country did not start with occupant of the White House out to kill Christ who is now terrorizing truth and life. It began with the priests and Bishops. The longer and harder they try to hold onto it, the uglier it's going to get.

The boys have been separated from the men and the picture is pathetic.

We're about to find out the true meaning of freedom. It will rise through martyrs who will lay down their lives, who ARE laying down their lives. It is coming to a city near you, faster than you will see it coming.

Get into a state of grace and stay there. Keep anyone or anything away from you who tempts you in any way. Have the discipline and decency to stay away from anyone who is the object of your desires, and whom you may tempt through folly and weakness.

Buckle up kiddies. The ride is about to get rough.

Here We Go Again with One of My Favorite Subjects - Medjugorje

"In the beginning of the apparitions the first question we asked Our Lady was who are you, what is your name? And She responded, “I am the Queen of Peace. I have come, dear children, because my Son is sending me so that I can help you. Dear children, peace, peace, peace, only peace. Peace must reign in the whole world. Dear children, peace must reign between God and man and among all men. Dear children, this world, mankind is in great danger. This world is in danger of self-destruction.” Those were the first words, those were the first messages that Our Lady, through us, has been giving to the whole world."

There are so many theological errors in this, one hardly knows where to begin.

The Father sent Mary centuries before Mirvana Mirjana et al began the messenger service. He to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Golgotha, the Resurrection. She was, is and ever shall be from now through eternity, the Ark of the Covenant. Her symbolism manifests in Christ's Church, the Ark which possesses the Substance of Christ's Body and Blood.

Don't ever lose sight of where the Father sent her, where is, where our help is.

I don't have a crystal ball but my gut instincts are, the Holy See is going to bring down the hammer, the devil has been attracting and grooming Christ's elect in Medjugorje. Anchoring them there instead of the authentic Ark. He is a patient and clever trickster. He lies in wait near her heel and is going to strike to collect his harvest. When she crushes his head, he will attempt to convince by playing the victim of concocted misogyny of the True Ark.

Did you see Meseret crossing the finish line? What a blessing it was to tune in at the exact moment she crossed, held up the gorgeous icon of the Blessed Mother and Her Son, embraced them to her face and fell on her knees.

To those of us who have recourse to Blessed Mother, she is at the finish line. She is at the defeat. She is standing by the Cross. Wherever we are, there she is. Loving, celebrating, consoling and protecting. Gracia Plena.

Peace, peace, peace, there must be peace?

No way lady.

There will never be peace because with peace, there is no cross. There is no penance. There are no martyrs. Christ would be a king here on earth, which we know never happens because the kingdom of earth belongs to the devil.

We deliver the beatitudes. They come to kill us. In every conceivable way. Dry martyrdom. We had a good run with this but we are now in another era. The murderer and liar from the beginning is already killing us in countries where his minions have been empowered with the help of Barack Hussein Obama. The slaughtering has commenced. In this country, they are building the mobs of vigilantes who will eventually carry it out here.

If you want to comprehend the erroneous nature of Merjivena, or whatever her name is, message, pull out the book of Revelation and see if you can find any peace in what has already begun. If you find peace written in those pages that the rest of us have somehow missed, do enlighten us. Those of us cruising on the Ark and being suckled by the Substance, these messages contradict 2000 years of theology and Christ whose Corpus is hanging from a Cross.

That is the peace which surpasses all understanding.

Bottom line: Steer clear of anathema.

GOP sending an ambulance with whoopass to the Weird Willard Show

All aboard.

If the rumors are true, of course. Let's hope he's kept his zipper zipped in Gomorrah

Funny there was no trial balloon. (Or, maybe there was and I missed it?!) I wonder if everyone on the short list declined?

Whatever. Finally, there is enough substance/oversight by the luminaries in the GOP to give this the green light.

I hope he puts the Social Security hoo-ha on the back burner. It's a Pandora's Box that will be exploited to turn senior citizens/class warfare buffoons into enemies.

If you're watching Barack Hussein's commercials, he's not even waiting to roll out the communism. They're going for it.

UPDATE--It's confirmed!

Blaspheming the Catholic Church

On occasion, an individual chained to despair will deposit a comment on my blog about The Mystical Body of Christ that is, literally, His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, His One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, that is blasphemous. I always feel called to make reparation for the comment.

I know that the majority of my readers not only understand the following, I know you share the deep love I have for the Catholic Church. But for the sake of atoning for the dung heaped upon the Price of Our Soul's Salvation, I'm going to say it.

I am deeply and madly in love with the Catholic Church. There are no words adequate enough to express my love of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass which feeds my soul the
Body and Blood of Christ and the gifts of Divinity that are in His Substance. I am baffled at how I can be such a bum and so inadequate when I have everything I could ever need or want to procure my perfection within my soul. Thank you Jesus for this Magnificent Gift.

For Catholics, there is no salvation outside of Her. At the hour of judgment, if any mercy is granted, you will enter Paradise through Her because there is no a dimes worth of difference between the Catholic Church and Christ Himself. Uncatechized people will enter Paradise through Her to every knee that will bend in veneration.

Many baptized Catholics have been scandalized by the conduct of imperfect apostles and other Catholics who struggle with flaws of character or sin. Those suffering because of the weakness of their fellow human beings, abusive and scandalous treatment struggling with forgiveness because of their own pain, who have walked away have lost their ability to see Christ's Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. They may say things that express their pain and we do our best to distinguish the flawed who seek salvation through the Church (or laid down their life in vocation to Her)and the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. We try to bring them to the table of forgiveness for those who have caused pain and scandal. My Jesus Mercy.

There are others who have taken up the crusade of blaspheming the Catholic Church. Blaspeming isn't in the same category of criticism. The sin of blasphemy is manifest when the individual has taken up it up as a vocation that consumes them. After they have been consumed, the individual lives out their vocation trying to convince people of their madness.

It's actually quite a rare thing because our guardian angels will use every resource within their power to intercede, prevent the soul from carrying out the crusade and vocation of blasphemy because the soul is on a path of destruction that is almost irreversible.

Like typhoid, keep clear of it. It can't be addressed with logic. By the time the person is consumed, it has all been said and done by others before you. The soul never gets to this kind of destruction without Christ having sent His missionaries to persuade and intercede.

There is nothing left to say or do but prayer and fasting. Penance, penance, penance. Atonement and reparation.

The world cannot understand Him.
Armies cannot defeat Him.
Schools can't display Him and the leaders can't ignore Him.
Herod couldn't kill Him.
The Pharisees couldn't confuse Him.
Nero couldn't crush Him.

He is our everything.

You had one eye in the mirror as you watched yourself gavotte

...and all the boys dreamed they'd be your partner, they'd be your partner.

I know what you're thinking!

Where's she going with this?!

If you don't have a glass of wine in your hand or a latte if you're reading this during the day, read no further. I'm in rare form tonight kiddies.I just came back from the Cardinal Sean's Blog.

While the religious liberty and right to earn a legal living of his sheep is being surpressed by the Cardinal's political cronies, what has he been thinking about when his feet hit the floor?

Getting in the car to take pictures of himself with the Jesuits and their traveling fan club from the local parish at Boston College - Our Ladies of Post-Menopause.

Holy crap. Every picture tells a story don't it.

Can anyone under 40 read their latest conspiracy on the power point?

I think I see "Commission for Mission" and "Secretariat for Justice" "Secretariat for Collaboration".

Way to wow 'em with a 411 filled with fresh ideas.

I believe the red and blue people with the swords are the team captians of F Troop at the Chancery or the Leadership Conference of Women Religious. One of these days they'll reinvent those three days in Woodstock. (Remind me to tell you about an upcoming conference at parish in Concord)

The next item is a reminder that yesterday was the Feast of Portiuncula and there's a special indulgence if you visit the replica of the local Basilica in Hanover on the Feast day. Had they run that feature story last week, some of us might have made it to the Basilica. They never stray for from their credo, A Day Late and a Dollar Short. This announcement that we all missed out on the plenary indulgence sure is chicken soup for the soul. Thanks fellas.

Take a short tour through the pictures from last week and you may have a better understanding of title of this post.

Well I hear you flew to Saratoga and your horse naturally won. Then you flew your lear jet to Nova Scotia to see the total eclipse of the sun. You're where you should be all the time...

Oh, wait...

Why they sit him down at his desk so he can govern his diocese, say and do something meaningful for the salvation of souls as his flock is being ravaged by the wolves?

He just can't be a man.

And, don't even get me started on Cardinal Dolan. The implementation date has arrived. What is he doing? Complying with it and rubbing elbows with Pilate at swanky events.

Disgust does not even begin to characterize their pathetic leadership.

The early Church was married to poverty, prisons and persecutions.
Today, the Church is married to prosperity, personality and popularity.~Leonard Ravenhill

God will not be mocked. They will be dragged, kicking and screaming and chained. Taken to where they do not want to go and they will be forced to make their choice. They are all going to learn what the red cap on their heads means. And, they are taking their flock with them.

There's one thing we can all take to the bank: We won't see those pictures on his blog.

Cardinal George Stands Up Like a Man to the Thugs of Intolerance

Let us be clear about who is intolerant of whom, shall we?

I don't care who anyone else wants to sleep with. Have an orgy for yourselves. Knock yourself out. Demoralize children, encourage young girls to whore themselves to men who don't give a flying fig about anything but what's in their pants. Give them free pills so men don't have to pay prostitutes or be responsible and moral and upstanding in character. Marry whoever you want and how many you want and whatever you want. Cheat on your wives and husbands.

Kill your own children in utero. Kill your mothers and grandmothers and relatives when they get sick.

We're not buying into it. And we're going to explain to our children (or anyone or anything else we care about) all the reasons why they can't buy into it.

You are free to open businesses wherever you want.

When the government starts giving edicts about what opinions people have to have about it or they're not going to work in the city, it's half past time to tell Rahm Emmanuel, Menino and anyone else who wants Catholics or anyone else to be banned from Boston GUESS WHO IS INTOLERANT?

No talking points yet from the Bishop of the See of Boston. Keep refreshing your browser. Hope springs eternal.

Obama is Christian

And I am the Queen of England.
