Larceny of Priest Pension Fund

The Archdiocese has finally admitted what most of us have known for a long time, they are 'underfunding' the employee pension fund.

This is kind of spooky:

“The numbers jump out at you in Boston because they’re so large, but most dioceses are struggling with this,” Zech said. “Priests are living longer than anticipated,

Are you kidding me?

There have anticipations on when priests will croak. I wonder if they have a spreadsheet

Given this revelation and the Vatican now supporting euthanasia, I wouldn't go to a meeting at the Chancery without a can of mace.

Vatican Newspaper Shills for French Bill Legalizing Killing Sick and Unwanted Relatives

With the passage of a bill by the French National Assembly that establishes a “right” to “continuous deep sedation until death,” while defining nutrition and hydration as "treatment" that can be withdrawn, the reaction of the official Catholic news organs are showing a deep rift in the Church over euthanasia.

While activists in France and abroad have condemned the law as euthanasia in everything but name, L’Osservatore Romano, the quasi official newspaper of the Vatican, has given the bill a stamp of approval.

What comes after the pastoral mercy of murder of souls by strangulation?

The pastoral mercy of killing the body, of course.

I hope there's time to get it on the agenda of the synod on the family so we can try to get the victims of corruption the sacred Sacrament of Viaticum before they're murdered.

Fr. Nicholson on the real Pope Francis effect

I'm working on a few home projects and finally sat down to relax around 9pm last night. I didn't know whether to do a cartwheel or cry when I watched Fr. Nicholson's latest message to Catholic crackerjacks.

Kindly note that he refers to Pope Francis as our beloved Holy Father - not "Bergolio".

Fr. Nicholson does a beautiful job explaining how St. John Paul II and Pope Benedict gradually cleaned up the chaos of ordaining pedophiles, sexually active priests and heretics and the challenges we face with Pope Francis. He explains how the pontificate grants new licenses to abusers who smell his lack of authority to sanctify and govern, and how they are taking advantage of the chaos to lead Christ's people to sprees of promiscuity and vice.

It's a revival of the complex confusion and rampant heresy of our priests, nuns, teachers that took place in the 60s.

From the perspective of a mother who catechized her children, led them away from bad priests, took pains to clarify and lead them to priests who would substantiate Church teaching, I believe the toll of consequences has already taken place. In the context of living in community, many uncatechized souls struggling with the substance of evangelization have fallen into error. I see many Catholic apostolates being overrun, toppled and destroyed.

The Holy Father has made upholding teaching the distinction between right and wrong, good and evil, sin and virtue and the tools of fiat to live in the daily pursuit of Sanctifying Grace, nearly impossible. We march on but we have been robbed of our effectiveness.

At this point, nobody cares about the drivel of taking refuge in Pope Francis own personal beliefs. That journey is about his own day of Judgment. His role, which I have yet to see him assume, is to teach, substantiate, empower and preserve the 2000 years of tools for salvation that are in his possession.

It is interesting that Fr. Nicholson speaks about this sad development in the context of Holy Week, the events that follow his adoration on Palm Sunday.

Observing the damage and speaking to other Catholics, my own feelings about the bleep show, my gut instincts are his pontificate will not recover the respect and trust of practicing Catholics. Too many things and people have been sifted like wheat. He crossed the Rubicon.

But with God, all things are possible. We are all praying and we are dealing with a God of surprises. LOL.

I duly note Fr. Nicholson takes the position that Pope Francis' words are poorly translated and spun, I suspect in charity.

Pope Francis message is sometimes poorly translated and spun.

Most of us have lived through the pontificates of two or three popes.

Perhaps once or twice in the pontificates of Saint John Paul II and Pope Benedict. I don't ever remember it happening in the pontificate of St. John Paul II, but I do recall it happening once or twice during the reign of Pope Bendict XVI.

With Pope Francis, the phenomenon happens every time he opens his mouth.

Even setting aside Pope Francis appointment of Cardinal Kasper and his request his see adopt his theology, setting aside the deception around the synod, his order to insert heresy into the Relatio after it had been voted out, the vote on doctrine passed around the world, the appointments of heretics to his curia, the perverted sexualization of women coming out of the Pontifical Council of Culture, his work empowering communists in America, the complete absence of moral theology, the two years of statements slandering the actions of Catholic families teaching the daily pursuit of Sanctifying Grace --I could go on and on but I think you get the picture -- even setting all these things aside, the idea that something suddenly snapped in the ability to comprehend the Holy Father's spoken words just doesn't gel.

At the end of his video, Fr. Nicholson gives calm, rational and sound advice on what to do. Pay close attention to his advice on discovering an abuser, which he defines as an ecclesiastical bully or a sexual pervert. We have to pull together, raise our voices, pool our resources and foist a petard.

You want to run an apostolate, a parish, a see and teach heresy?

You're going to find your initiative exposed on the internet.

You want to bully and threaten us for exposing it?

You're going to find those dirty deeds exposed on the internet.

The chit you call in to have us slandered at the National Catholic Register isn't going to help you anymore.

If we hear from your lawyers, it's going on the internet and your lawyers will meet our lawyers.

You had a good run. We let it get all the way up to the Chair of Peter. But it's over now.

We've had a lot of momentum over the past few months. The last few weeks have been very encouraging. But when I heard the final moments of Fr. Nicholson's video, I was overwhelmed with relief. We did it. We pulled it together.

Deo Gratis.

Mike Pence Signs Religious Conscience Protections into Indiana Law.

In your kindness, please pray prayers of protection for Mike Pence and lift him up in prayer at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass during our holy week.

The demons are thrashing about.

When my family immigrated from Ireland, they settled into Roxbury which at that time had a large Jewish population. We lived in a three-decker on the top floor. The family below us were traditional Jews who practiced shabbat.

Many a Friday evening or Saturday, she would open up her back door and call our name and ask us to open the refrigerator to retrieve something for her or help with another task during their hours of fasting and prayer.

Those were the days when the diversity of America loved and supported religious and constitutional freedom. We didn't have the challenge of politicians enacting immoral law that kills the body and souls of our countrymen. There were no priests, bishops and popes who cheered them on, or marched in parades that are the flaunt and haunt of demons.

Life wasn't as complicated as it is now. I am so grateful to have lived in those days, to have the memory of a world of innocence and virtue and goodness.

I read the headlines of a story on the Indiana law that really had me thinking. It said something like "Indiana adopts law that allows businesses to refuse to serve gays".

I didn't bother to read the article because I knew where it was going, but I was truly taken back by it. It pains me to think our homosexual brothers and sisters are being led to believe this is about coming into a store to buy an ice cream cone or cup of coffee. Could they possibly believe we are guessing or thinking about sexual preferences when they come up to a counter to buy a can of paint?

I find it hard to believe anyone could fall into this malicious and ludicrous caricature, but I would urge all to go out of their way to ensure our homosexual brothers and sisters that this is BS.

This law is not about gays who come into a bakery and say "I'll have a dozen red velvet cupcakes'. In that business transaction, we are not being asked to use our talents and gifts and business to participate in the shill of Americans willing to rob you of your salvation or life. It's not even about a homosexual asking us to bake cupcakes for their barber shop or law office. That we can do. What we can't and won't do is use our talent to supply cupcakes to a Planned Parenthood event, an Nazi event, a Klu Klux Clan event because it is blood money. For the same reasons, we will not use the gifts God gave us to hoodwink homosexuals planning a celebration of marriage.

You want to do that, go right ahead. It's none of our business. Unless, of course, you make it our business. If and when you do make it our business, we are placed in the position of committing sin.

God knows there's plenty of priests and bishops in the world cheering us into the spiritual suicide of our immortal souls. Whether we are married heterosexuals attracted to the eyecandy at the gym or bus, separated, divorced, widowed, homosexuals -- no matter what our attractions to sin, the movement to guide us into believing it's okay or good or God's judgment upon sin is the delusion of antiquated sourpusses has infiltrated Christ's Church. All the way to the Chair of Peter.

We are deep in the doodoo. But this too shall pass and Christ's promises that the gates of hell will never prevail against His Deposit of Faith shall come to pass.

The consequences of bishops and popes collaborating and working with misguided, uncatechized and just plain evil politicians are upon us. This means many of our people will be forced to choose between a roof over their heads and food in their children's mouths and bartering away our salvation by committing sin to feed our children.

It is a terrible position. The squeezola is on.

There are constitutional laws that stop people from forcing Americans to do something against their religion. If this was about diversity and decency and respect, you would walk to the cupcake store across the street and ask them to be a participant in your celebration.

Maybe some of it is misunderstanding.

But most of it is a deliberate assault against practicing Catholics who will never give you the nudge and the wink when you want to kill your baby or live with or marry your same sex lover.

God Bless and protect Mike Pence for his valiant stand against the malicious enemy prowling to consume the heirs of Christ's Sacraments and salvation.

Faithful priests bad, pagans good

Cardinal Nichols screwed up judgment

Is Cardinal Marx Catholic?

If it walks and talks like a protestant..

Remember a month or so ago, Cardinal Marx suggested the Magisterium is subordinate to the teachings of the German Conference of Bishops?

“We are not a branch of Rome. Each conference of bishops is responsible for pastoral care in its cultural context and must preach the Gospel in its own, original way. We cannot wait for a synod to tell us how we have to shape pastoral care for marriage and family here.”

His statement ruffled feathers but let us face it: The USCCB has been operating like they have the authority to develop their own Deposit of Faith for decades. The examples are as countless as the stars. The most famous examples of recent vintage involve their insistence they did not and do not have to uphold and practice Canon Laws.

There is a library of policies that violate the Canonical and Constitutional rights of our priests but my favorite example involves Canon 915.

The USCCB has helped the commies and proaborts in the Democratic party get elected for decades, telling us the demoralization of women and murder of children was their gift to the poor. They're always right there to help elect Joe Stalin and help pass out his blankets and butter, give them honorary degrees, clap in their victory parades and give 'the devout' Holy Communion. They are always devout, those baby killers.

I couldn't count the number of times we asked them to uphold Canon 915 and they told us they could trump Rome. When we turned up the heat and sought help from Rome, 48 lawmakers sent Uncle Teddie McCarrick a threatening letter, saying don't you dare uphold Canon 915.

Cardinal McCarrick received a clarification from Rome and was instructed to deliver its contents to the US Conference of Catholic Bishops. He promptly swept it under the rug.

"... Although it was sent to the US Bishops via Cardinal McCarrick by Cardinal Ratzinger, the document was not revealed to the US Bishops. Rather McCarrick gave the impression that Cardinal Ratzinger's letter indicated Rome was ambiguous about the matter. Speaking of Ratzinger's letter in a June 15, 2003 statement to the US Bishops, Cardinal McCarrick said, 'the Cardinal (Ratzinger) recognizes that there are circumstances in which Holy Communion may be denied'."

The Romans leaked the letter to Sandro, thus revealing the fangs of the wolf. Few were surprised.

Cardinal Marx's schismatic statement was stunning but the reality of the situation is, the USCCB turned the structure into a headquarters for the counterfeit church decades ago.

Earlier this week, Cardinal Müller took Cardinal Marx's articulation of their delusions to the shed.

Cardinal Müller described the delusion as antiCatholic.

It's isn't Catholic.

An episcopal conference is not a particular council , much less an ecumenical council . The president of an Episcopal Conference is nothing more than a technical moderator , and as such has no special teaching authority . Hear that a Bishops' Conference is not a "subsidiary of Rome" gives me the opportunity to recall that the dioceses are not subsidiaries of the secretariat of an episcopal conference or diocese whose Bishop presides over the Episcopal Conference . This attitude makes the risk of waking some polarization between the local churches and the universal Church, exceeded in the councils Vatican I and Vatican II. The Church is not a set of national churches , including the presidents would vote to elect their leader at the universal level

If the Romans want to divest the structure of liars and corrupt bureaucrats, they should get rid of bishops conferences.

Cardinal Koch stifles Kasper and Marx

Thus ending the charade.

Cardinal Koch thus insisted that it is dangerous to declare “life realities” as a third source of revelation: “To see how and in which way people are living their Faith today, is of course helpful and important, in order to recognize the challenges of the pastoral duties of the Church. However, this [the “life realities”] cannot be a third reality of the revelation next to Holy Scripture and the Magisterium.”

Its pretty straight-forward.

So why would a pope suggest the world embrace it?

Let's turn up the heat on Bishop Bootkoski

Bishop Bootkoski thinks Susan Sarandon gives him the vapors?

Let's turn up the heat.

Call or email Bishop Bootkoski and tell him the days of slandering and firing Catholics for holding opinions consistent with the Deposit of Faith are over. There's a new sheriff in town.

Details on how to reach him HERE.

Encourage others in your circle to do the same. Phone calls, email, fax.

Let's put him under the spotlight and show every bishop in the USCCB what happens when they attempt to rob our children of their religion.

Fr. Z also notes the real Pope Francis effect: Faithful Catholics are taking their religion back

Coming to a diocese near you.

It seems – feels – as if those who seek to silence the Voice of Orthodoxy (the Voice of the True Faithful) are no longer going to be given a pass.

Pastors of souls should take notice: Coming to a diocese near you.

Yeah. We let it get waaaay too far. But better late than never.

Pope Francis rottweilers want exclusive rights to publicity stunts

The synod is sinking and the rats are coming out of the woodwork.

Didn't Pope Francis initiative call for open and honest discussion of Kasper's heresy?

If you can distance yourself from the emotional baggage that comes with the empowerment of the thugs who sell heresy, this is fascinating to watch.

Pope picks heretic to teach his see heresy and tells us all to openly discuss the pros and cons of embracing it.

When Catholics who will never embrace heresy openly and honestly discuss the cons, Pope Francis army of mercy and justice tell us to STFU.

The duplicity is too weird to be of human origin.

Get this: After the Holy Father tells us to discuss the very public, well-orchestrated circus of deception and heresy at the synod, this Cardinal tell us not to conduct a debate about the synod through the press.

Priests should not conduct a debate about the October Family Synod through the press, Cardinal Nichols has said, following the publication of a letter signed by hundreds of priests, urging the synod to issue a ‘clear and firm proclamation’ upholding Church teaching on marriage.

They want exclusive rights to conduct publicity stunts.

I don't think so fellas.

Remember when Pope Francis said he wanted discussions about the crud in the Relatio to be transparent?

Here we see the policy on transparency starting to shape up:

Every priest in England and Wales has been asked to reflect on the Synod discussion. It is my understanding that this has been taken up in every diocese, and that channels of communication have been established,’ the statement said.

‘The pastoral experience and concern of all priests in these matters are of great importance and are welcomed by the Bishops. Pope Francis has asked for a period of spiritual discernment. This dialogue, between a priest and his bishop, is not best conducted through the press.’

Get it?

Any discussion was supposed to be privately discussed with the heretics trying to implement it.

Good one.

Next time we have a complaint, let's waste our time and call up the foxes they put in the henhouse.

There is something really creepy about communication in the administration of this papacy. In every conceivable way.

Right is wrong and wrong is right. Error is evangelized and truth is silenced.

It's the stink of sulfur.

We need to be careful because it is everywhere and demons specialize in capitalizing on naivete and stupidity.

But everywhere this agenda is being promoted, the liars and thugs storm to silence and destroy catechesis and truth.

We've all taken several bites of the apple now and it is rotten to the core.

Where there is no mercy, there is no justice

Pope Francis said earlier this week with another homily about his favorite subject: Catholics who practice living in a state of Sanctifying Grace every day are rigid corrupt hypocrites without mercy.

Speaking of the Scribes and the Pharisees who took the adulteress before Jesus, Francis said their hearts were corrupted by rigidity: “they thought they were pure because they observed the law” (…) but they did not know mercy” he said.

“They were not saints, they were corrupt. Because this kind of rigidity leads one live a double life: on the one hand they were condemning these women, and on the other they were seeking them out for a bit of fun. The description used by Jesus for them is hypocrites: they had double standards.”

And the Pope referred to those within the Church who judge and condenn others, saying they too have double standards. “With such rigidity – he said – one cannot breathe”.

I guess we're supposed to break the Commandments every once in a while. When temptation comes along, we're supposed to say yes to the devil so we don't stiffen up.

Celebrant: Do you reject Satan?

Parents and Godparents: When fidelity isn't stifling my breathing.

Celebrant: And all his works?

Parents and Godparents: Not all his works.

Celebrant: Do you reject sin, so as to live in the freedom of God's children?

Parents and Godparents: Not rigidly.

Celebrant: Do you reject the glamor of evil, and refuse to be mastered by sin?

Parents and Godparents: We accept the glam of sin when we need to limber up.

Celebrant:Do you reject Satan, father of sin and prince of darkness?

Parents and Godparents: Not always. Is this going to take much longer??? Your questions are making us uncomfortable and seem mean spirited.

With the devil harvesting souls, the Romans gathered to brainstorm solutions. The fix is in. The time has come to encourage Catholics to loosen up and sin.

They are getting serious about mercy and justice.

Earlier this week, Dave Pierre circulated macabre details of an incident involving mercy and justice that took place at the Immaculate Conception School in Revere.

Cardinal O'Malley fired a beloved custodian for going peepee in the potty.

Beloved school administrators and teachers were also terminated for letting him use the potty.

Like many urban Catholic schools, Immaculate Conception School in Revere (on the working-class outskirts of Boston) lacks adequate space, so it had been a "common practice for a number of years" in the school for adults to use the student restroom so long as there was not a student already in there.

Well, at some point at the end of last year, a mother called the school to report that her kindergarten-aged son felt "uncomfortable" walking into the restroom and seeing the school's 64-year-old custodian using a urinal. (The restroom was just steps away opposite the janitor's office.) [Addendum, 3/18/15: The Revere Advocate reported in late January that the janitor used the bathroom in question "for upwards of 17 years without incident."]

At no time did anyone ever report or even suggest that anyone had committed any behavior in the least bit sexual or criminal. Never.

In other words, the boy walked into the restroom and saw what anyone would see if he walked into any public men's restroom – such as at the theater or Boston's Fenway Park.

The school was at a loss at how to respond to the mother's phone call, but at some point, someone came up with the idea that the concern should somehow be reported to law enforcement. Big mistake.

Overreacting, Cardinal O'Malley and the Archdiocese of Boston immediately forced the resignations of three employees of the parish and its school: Father George Szal, the popular parish priest; Alison Kelly, the school's principal; and an unnamed second-grade teacher.

The Cardinal's reason for forcibly removing the trio was that the group had somehow failed to report the issue to law enforcement and the archdiocese "in a timely manner." Shockingly, the archdiocese reportedly gave the three "an ultimatum – resign or be fired."

There have been dozens of innocent priests swept up into farcical accusations made by hysterical women subsequently removed by the mercy and justice of Cardinal O'Malley.

They were treated with breathtaking cruelty, their reputations and vocations ruined, slandered and abandoned, left to financial, emotional and spiritual ruin.

Dave Pierre has done a fabulous job indexing gross injustices in a book ironically called "Double Standard"

Perhaps Dave should send the Holy Father a copy and ask him to explain his own hypocrisy.

Juxtaposed against the public publicity stunts as crusaders of justice and mercy, it's been tough to stomach.

But to the best of my knowledge, Cardinal O has never given a lay person a dose of his justice and mercy before.

Branding an innocent man, someone's husband and father, a pervert for using the men's room.

Yet even after both local police and the local district attorney investigated the case and discovered that nothing even remotely criminal had occurred, Cardinal O'Malley still would not reverse his impetuous decision. The lives of four innocent people (the trio plus the custodian) would remain tarnished.

This is their idea of applying mercy and justice.

Disgusting. Just. Simply. Disgusting.

It is hard to articulate how upsetting this is to the righteous, just and merciful Catholics. Our hearts break for the custodian, Fr. Szhal, the teacher and others who are victims of hysterical and cruel nutters.

I've never understood why men line urinals up along a wall and go tinkles in front of each other. A custom left over from the Roman empire? Custodians and school administrators are not accountable for the custom, which is practiced in every public building in America.

It was clear nothing inappropriate, perverted or sexual happened.

If you work in a Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Boston, you better get yourself some diapers.

To me be as it pleaseth God.

Most highly favored Lady, Gloria!

Thank you for the many times you have my back, your guidance. counsel and love. especially the times I wasn't the least bit interested, for your leadership and dispatch of Christ's army of angels, for your intercession and favors granted, for connecting your consecrated to each other for support and encouragement.

Update on Bishop Bootkoski's Fatwa on Jannuzzi Family

Maggie Gallagher has more ugly details on Bishop Bootkoski's fatwa on the Jannuzzi family.

It is not enough, apparently to fire a Catholic school teacher for defending the faith. The diocese has to sully her good name by pretending it has never done any of those things, and implying she’s a liar. This gets worse and worse.

Nor is it just on marriage issues that Catholics are being attacked. I learn from Anne Hendershott that last week a priest in the diocese of Scranton apologized for showing an anti-abortion film to Catholic students, after some parents protested to the media. The CCD teacher resigned.

Instead of showing people the door who complain about Catholics teaching the Catholic religion in Catholic apostolates, they kill the prophet.

Again, I'm really surprised these kinds of stories seem like a new phenomenon.

Maggie asks:

These scorched-earth tactics work: How much of Catholic teaching are Catholic bishops willing to abandon to get out from under bad publicity?

The whole thing.

They're willing to lose every soul in their diocese.

And when will they learn they cannot manipulate this media in their favor? The truth will come out.

What?

LOL.

They have been manipulating the Catholic media for decades. The National Catholic Register has even joined the bishops' mafia.

Exposing their dirty deeds is a brand spanking new experience for them.

A handful of Catholic apostolates and parents with blogs have ended the charade.

They are floored.

They can't believe their eyes.

They are still testing the water. That is why it is extremely important that each little ugly incident tars and feathers the bishop, the priest, the lay person - or sadly a pope - engaging in thuggery.

They are just learning that their slander and threats is no longer an effective weapon against whisteblowers.

They are just learning that their enablers at the National Catholic Register and Patheos have lost the ability to damage control.

Bishop Bootkoski's larceny of Catholic moral theology

Catholics teachers in Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Boston have been prohibited from teaching moral theology for quite some time now.

About 1/2 dozen lesbians who enrolled children at Catholic schools complained and threatened when moral theology was taught to children of practicing Catholics and that was the end of that. We even had one muslim family at a local school initiate a somewhat successful campaign to eliminate the offensive word "Christmas".

When Bishop Bootkoski placed an award-winning teacher Patricia Jannuzzi on administrative leave for saying (on her private facebook account) that no genetic source has ever been found in the DNA of homosexuals and healthy families with a mother and father is important to humanity, I was surprised by the shockwaves in Christendom.

Bishop Bootkoski issued a statement saying it was inconsistent with Church teaching and placed her on administrative leave and is testing the waters to fire her.

Michael Hitchborn has written an outstanding response in an open letter to Bishop Bootkoski.

Not knowing much about Bishop Bootkoski, I did a google. The first four queries are as follows:

Bishop Bootkoski address
Bishop Bootkoski gay
Bishop Paul Bootkoski
Bishop Paul Bootkoski gay

I was not shocked.

A very timely homily from Fr. Paul Nicholson

Who are the Doctors of Church Law?

The Remnant has a funny video up about Pope Francis recent statement discrediting the doctors of Church Law. The video is in response to the "year of mercy" in which Pope Francis tells us the Church has to stop acting like doctors of the law.

In praxis, a doctor of Church Law is a parent, grandparent, relative, friend, neighbor, priest, bishop, cardinal who uses the Deposit of Faith to bring healing to wounded souls with Sanctifying Grace.

We are the people who teach our children the reasons why we don't live in a state that is inconsistent with the reception of Sanctifying Grace and the theology of salvation.

We are the parents who teach our children the reasons why shaking up with their sexual lovers is living in constant state of mortal sin.

We are the priests who teach the distinction between right and wrong, sin and virtue so that souls will seek absolution and have access to the Sanctifying Grace that gives us the tools to recognize and reject the wiles of satan.

We are the bishops and cardinals who take the raping of souls and larceny of salvation more seriously than raping physical bodies.

We are the Popes that preserve, govern and sanctify with Church Law.

The doctors of the law are the physicians of souls.

It is impossible for an ordained man to teach souls not to apply Church Law to make judgments on right and wrong, there is virtue in sin and to live their life in an objective state of mortal sin and heal the soul.

We can't see souls but they are a physical thing. When a soul is afflicted with mortal sin, it is terminal. In the state of a walking dead man, the soul loses the ability to instruct the intellect on right and wrong, good judgment and bad judgment. A soul in this state suffers from the consequences of their bad judgment. They are cut off from their salvation.

Pope Francis is suggesting the practice our vocation by leading and leaving souls in this state is a version of 'mercy' that was missed by 2000 years of Doctors of Church Law.

The Holy Father is living his vocation by teaching there is no discernment of spirits, no consultation with Church teaching be made to inform right and wrong when a desire comes along.

The Doctors of Church Law include St. John Paul II, Pope Benedict, all the saints and doctors of the Church.

What was the matter with the Holy Father's request we embrace the theology of virtue in sin and admittance of divorced and remarried to Communion?

The theory can't be limited to the divorced and remarried. It has to be applied to all.

Either a soul has to be in a state of Grace to receive the Eucharist or their logic applies to everyone who rejects Church teaching and breaks any Commandment for any reason.

People who have refused to apply for an annulment and civilly married are no different than anyone else living a life in a constant state of mortal sin.

Men picking up drunk and lonely women in barrooms for one night stands, couples living together, everyone in a civil marriage, the guy who robbed the bank, the pedophiles, a mass murderer.

Church law is based upon logic that is woven into every Commandment and teaching in the Catechism that feeds Christ's descendants Sanctifying Grace.

The Pope asks, 'how many times does a person living in a state of mortal sin run into closed doors at the local parish'?

I'll tell you something right now.

I did, once - back when my first child was born and I brought her to the local parish to be baptized. I had lived there for several years and rarely stepped foot in the place. Still rebelling against Church teaching on contraception, had my nose out of joint on what I perceived as the mistreatment of women.

The priest asked me who I was, how long I had lived in the parish, told me he had never seen me before. He explained that as a priest, he couldn't give out the Sacrament of Baptism unless the parents were upholding their promise to bring their children up in the Church. He asked me to recommit myself to that promise or he could not Baptize my child.

That man gave me a gift which will be forever in his debt. It was the beginning of my conversion. He saved me from myself and gave my children a mother who upheld her promise to Christ.

Had he cheapened the Sacrament and passed it out like the guy selling me lattes at Dunkin Donuts, I would have missed out on intimacy with Christ, decades of right judgment, the counsel of the Doctors of the Church and Law.

The Holy Father wants to rob us of the counsel and practice of Doctors of Church Law and physicians of souls and call it mercy?

Another turkey that will not fly.

Sure looks like Cardinal Dolan ordered his goon Joe Zwilling to have Michael Voris manhandled.

Do you have anything to say to faithful Catholics scandalized by what you are doing?

Nah. Come on in, we'd love to have ya.

LOL.

What comes after a Papal edict to teach and practice heresy and what do we do in the meantime?

Hillary White wrote an article at the Remnant that I highly recommend reading, thinking and praying about.

I don’t have any answers for the questions I will pose below, but I think, with less than eight months to go before the next installment of the Synod to End the Family, now might be a good time to at least open the discussion: what do we do when the Cardinal Kasper’s New Paradigm is officially in place?

Simply put, can a Catholic in good conscience continue to attend a parish where the priest has agreed to go along with the New Paradigm? And if not, what then?

Ultimately, I believe we are in a situation in the Church so dire that only the long view of history is going to be able to determine what is really happening. But this is not to say that we who are living in it are unable to discern what our duty is here and now. I propose, therefore, only to start the discussion by asking some obvious but painful questions, and to perhaps illumine it with a few easily verifiable facts.

I'm going to tell you the exact moment I knew our beloved Holy Father would ask us to embrace and practice heresy.

It wasn't his disrespect and condescending insults of 2000 years of practitioners and praxis.

It wasn't the absence of Church teaching on moral theology.

It wasn't the now hundreds of off-the-cuff statements he made that conveyed to listeners in every corner of the world that Church teaching on breaking the commandments should be ignored in practice because they're antiquated, the people who practice them are rigid, creed-reciting sourpusses who are afraid to dance.

It wasn't the numerous instances when he discredited, obstructed and dismantled Traditionalists.

It wasn't even when my own children cited the Pope's encouragement of immoral conduct, making them skeptical of 30 years of painful Catechesis in the world pulling them away from it. Though admittedly, that was the moment he became anathema to me. The long battle of keeping their moral compass straight through the many priests who tried to lure them into the pit, the many parishes I fled to find them a faithful pastor - or at least one who wouldn't lure them into heresy - the day they regurgitated what the Pope is teaching and expressed their skepticism, perhaps for the rest of their lives -- that is the day I wanted to punch Pope Francis in the nose. I've wanted to punch him in the nose every day since. But it still gave him the benefit of the doubt that it was not his intention to lead Christ's Church and people to embrace and practice heresy.

The day I knew was the day he appointed Kasper to lead the Synod on the family and asked us to embrace and practice the heresy Kasper teaches.

There we have it straight from the horses mouth.

There is no miscommunication or misunderstanding possible. He appointed a heretic and asked the Church to embrace and practice it. The end.

The deceptive and sleaze around the Synod and the Relatio confirmed the moment Pope Francis appointed a heretic and asked the Church to embrace and practice it, in spite of it's contradiction to 2000 years of theology.

We don't have to wonder about whether he is going to do it. There it is in all it's glory.

So, what do we do now?

Same thing we've always done.

Find a pastor who will remain faithful. Find the remnant. Practice and teach our religion in the cavern. And take every opportunity to resist and trip them. Like the Conference of Polish Bishops, like bloggers, find a mountain and witness that under no circumstances will we teach and practice their heresy. We are going nowhere. We will stay and muck up everything they try to roll out until they retreat. In every diocese, in every parish and every apostolate.

We are two generations of parents and grandparents whose children have been raped and robbed. They have no idea what that means and what they are up against.

The show in Rome is more of a threat to us than the muslim crusaders ethnically cleansing Christians with the help and support of the President of the United States and politicians whom they idolize, adore and honor. They are not going to lead our children into immorality and sin as the devil rises out of the abyss to kill us.

You want to know what we're going to do? Give Russ Steinback of the MA Knights of Columbus a call. He'll give you an earful. Tell you all about how Pope Francis and Cardinal Dolan were a witness to parade souls into clapping fornication and tell you the reasons why he couldn't get it executed.

You want to know what we're going to do? Call Fr. Rosica. He'll tell you that every time he publishes or tweets the propaganda, we will use his own words and actions and demonstrate how the errors lead our people into Sodom and Gomorrah. When he bullies and threatens us, we intends to pull together and fight back with masses of Catholics whose children they robbed. We expose every attempt to tell us to STFU and then end up drinking their own poison. By the Grace of God.

We're going to go to Mass, daily if and when we can. We're going to do what it takes to stay in a state of Grace every day. We're going to teach our religion. And we are going muck their agenda up from now until the October Synod, and afterwards if we have to.

Let's acknowledge the elephant in the room.

Let them go back to Rome demoralized and tired and knowing that if they do it, we will reject the authority of the Pope and there is going to be a big fugatz. A lot of commotion. We don't know how it will play out. But there's one thing we do know. Even a pope is not going to separate us from the Chair of Peter of which he is a temporary occupant. We will, somehow, put the rubber ball on his nose and the noses of anyone who utters the agenda and we will carry on until the smoke rises again. We'll see plenty of ugly and cowardice. The boys will be separated from the men.

I believe informing the Holy Father what will happen is an act of charity. Maybe he will reconsider and his papacy will be spared the nightmare ahead of him. But I am not the least bit worried about whether he will or won't. Other then dreading the work ahead of us if he does. Whatever happens, happens. We will rise to the occasion.

Worthy is the Lamb.

I do not give a flying, flipping turd that the Pope doesn't like Catholics who are going to hold his feet to the fire to pass on the religion that gives our children a daily dose of Sanctifying Grace. I'm not losing any sleep over it. Rock on dude. Rock on.

So long as they know there is no way and no possibility we will teach our children the commandments can be ignored, breaking them can be virtuous and all the other farcical and diabolical concepts he has floated through the heretics he has appointed.

It is not happening and there will be some kind of earthquake that leads a huge divide in the fault, come the Synod.

We are going to stand as a witness on the opposite side of the Pope. We will retain the Chair of Peter and the Deposit of Faith. We will say to our children "look, this is the Chair of Peter and the Deposit of Faith. The Pope is not in it. " We will be in the faces of every bishop and priest, right in the pews on on the internet. There will be plenty of priests who will be with us. Enough refuges for our children. We have Christ's promises.

That's what we'll do because at the end of the day, our children will be reluctant to jump over into the Roman Sodom and Gomorrah. That is my job above everything else. To be a witness to the truth to the children in my care. Those are promises I have made to Christ. I am not breaking them. For any mortal. Even should a pope ask me to do so.

God will heal the division at some point in the future.

For once, I think John Allen is right on the money - Pope Francis does NOT care about luring a million or even retaining what's left of Latin Rite Catholics

It isn't often I disagree with Fr. Z (and I've never disagreed with his faithful right-on-the-money articulation of Church teaching), but I thought my perspective was worth sharing on this post.

John Allen has written an article about Williamson and SSPXers that basically states SSPX the Church isn't interested in investing resources to lure one million pigheaded terrorists back to the Church, but they would like to lasso the power to ordain.

They'll put millions into resources to lure 100 eight-year-old apostate nuns but a million SSPXers is like the dirt that comes off the bottom of their shoe.

Fr. Z is astounded by Allen's chilling tone and content. But, one would be hard pressed to come up with any evidence to contradict Allen in this papacy. Every shred of evidence suggests that not only does Pope Francis not want SSPXers back, he wants to get rid of anyone attracted to or practicing TLM that is still on the Ark of the Covenant.

I don't think the ride on the end of the Holy Father's shoe is limited to Latin Rite Catholics - it's anyone unwilling to sign their children up to Kasper's heresy. But, he's spent the first two years of his papacy attacking, discrediting, dismantling and sabotaging TLM Catholic families.

Is anyone surprised that Williamson is watching the nuthouse and getting a fleet ready to collect those who will undoubtedly despair when the Synod unravels?

It was predictable.

It's kind of shocking for the press to say it out loud, but let us face it: Allen is absolutely right. LOL

Cardinal Dolan's Pride is Bustin' Out as Grand Marshall of St. Patrick's Fornication Parade

Take a look at this horses patoot leading his people into Sodom and Gommorah with his shillelagh.

Arron collecting his applause at the bottom of Mt. Sinai, telling us his pride is busting out all over.

What's not to be proud of?

A Pope has arrived proclaiming the sacrament of fornication. The great division is here. Rome has fallen again. Cardinal Dolan is the Grand Marshall of the celebration of victory through the streets of New York.

We should have dressed up as Nero and played the fiddle behind this madman.

Can you imagine anyone trying to come in after Pope Francis who tries to lead Christ's people out of the Roman entrenchment into the diabolical?

Good times ahead.

If you are not signed up for Fr. Rutler's weekly homilies, you are missing out on the observations of a valuable historian and prophet. (You can sign up HERE on the right 'subscribe to Fr. Rutler's weekly column)

I highly recommend his weekly good dose of reality. This week's is below.

My family was never a fan of leprechauns. Their images were never used or encouraged in our homes. They loathed the stupid big hats and drunken, pagan celebration our Catholic Feast day had become in America.

We wear a green carnation with a green ribbon with a medal of St. Patrick. We go to Church. We would make a boiled dinner, soda bread and connect to talk about our ancestors and their lives in Dublin, their immigration to America, their settlement in Roxbury near St. Pat's on Dudley Street.

When I saw the video of this bleephole, I thought about my grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, now all deceased - and hoped they are praying for us in this valley of tears.

FROM THE PASTOR
March 15, 2015
by Fr. George W. Rutler

Maewyn Succat did not have an easy time embracing the Faith. Although his father Calpurnius was a deacon, Maewyn indulged a spirited youthful rebellion against what he had been taught, and it was only after being kidnapped by superstitious people called Druids that he realized the difference that Christianity makes in the souls of men and the character of cultures. This was in the fifth century, and Maewyn, probably born in the Cumbria part of England near the Scottish lands, was roughly contemporary with the bishop Augustine in North Africa who watched the decay of the Roman Empire. Maewyn eventually became a bishop in Rome where Pope Celestine I re-named him Patricius, the “Father of His People.” His people were to be in the land of Eire where he had suffered in virtual slavery.

Patrick was neither the first nor the only one to bring the Gospel there. Foundations were also laid by such missioners as Palladius, Ciarán of Saighir, Auxilius, Secundinus and Iserinus. One reason Patrick was sent to Ireland was to stem the spread of the Nestorian heresy, which misrepresented the “hypostatic union” of Christ as true God and true Man. A couple of centuries later, Nestorians in the East would influence Mohammed’s misunderstanding of Christ. Patrick was not subtle when it came to the truth: “That which I have set out in Latin is not my words but the words of God and of apostles and prophets, who of course have never lied. He who believes shall be saved, but he who does not believe shall be damned. God has spoken.”

If Patrick, whom the archdiocese of New York is privileged to invoke as its patron, could witness what has become of his feast in the streets of our city, he might think that the Druids were having their revenge. He certainly would decry the notion that his feast was merely a celebration of an ethnic identity which was not his, or of a conviviality not rooted in Christian moral reason. This Saint Patrick’s Day, Maewyn/Patricius would bond more instinctively with the beheaded and crucified martyrs in the Middle East and Nigeria (whose official patron is Patrick) now spilling their blood for Christ, than with some revelers on Fifth Avenue who pantomime his name while spilling beer. There is a difference between martyrs and leprechauns.

This is not to dampen good spirits and rightful celebration, risky though they are in these Forty Days when the shadow of the Cross looms larger daily. But it is a reminder of the cost of discipleship in a cynical culture, and of the heavy cost of succumbing to the threats of the morally bewildered who, with adolescent petulance, would intimidate the Church that carried the Gospel across the Irish Sea. Patrick said when he braved the dark pagan groves: “If I be worthy, I live for my God to teach the heathen, even though they may despise me.”

EWTNs Strange Attack on the Catholic Action League, Voris and Pewsitter on behalf of the Knights of Columbus

Remember that peculiar EWTN article that published from CNA that quoted three mysterious sissies (two from the Kof C and one Church official) who tried to pin a scandal of their own making onto Catholics offended by it?

This was the incident where the Knights failed to engage for the 23 years Catholics fought to retain Catholic values in the St. Patrick's Day Parade and then once it became another clapping fornication event joined the parade as Catholics were exiting. After the lewd and lascivious pride parade marchers were added to the Irish Catholic event, the backlash became so great, they withdrew from the parade. They subsequently retaliated against CJ Doyle, Michael Voris and Pewsitter by claiming CJ Doyle and the Catholic Action League got their profane members to send them nasty messages.

I don't find their allegation credible for several reasons. One, I personally caught them in three lies (which I'll get to in a minute). Two, Catholic Action League members are mostly professional people who are daily Mass-goers, prolifers or Latin Rite Catholics. They're not the swearing type.

I found it really odd that EWTN would run the article at CNA defending the Knights without getting the other side of the story.

What reputable Catholic newspaper would defend joining a march to clap for fornication without saying to themselves, Hold on a minute, why are we defending marching for clapping fornication after the Mayor ran the Catholics out of the parade for 23 years - maybe we should find out more details. After all, the Knights and Church official aren't man enough to use their name which indicates they didn't want to stand behind what they were saying or be held accountable for lies.

You don't have to be a professional or seasoned journalist to uphold these minimal standards. If you're on a pursuit to publish truth, the KofC spin stinks to the high heavens of a code red in exchange for a cash donation to the Register from the Knights.

Astoundingly, EWTN then ran the story in the Register. They then blasted it from their radio station.

What kind of yellow-bellied journalism are they sinking to?

What's next?

A story about Voris provoked Cardinal Dolan's mafia hit men beat him up because he asked a question? (This is one of the creepiest things I have ever witnessed from a prelate. Don't even get me going!)

A call for unity in their pastoral heresy?

I'm going to start calling the Register the National Catholic Quisling.

As for the trilogy of fibs from the MA KofC, I first contacted them when I was told that they discussed their participation in the clapping fornication parade with Cardinal O'Malley and Carl Anderson -- and both gave them the 'thumbs up'.

Knowing how the Chancery functions, I specifically asked whether they spoke to the Cardinal directly or the name of the individual who told them the Cardinal approved it.

After several accusations that my trustworthy sources were lying about what they said, they fessed up and wrote me an email saying they had misspoke -- the Cardinal didn't approve but Carl Anderson did.

I wrote to Carl Anderson - copied them - and subsequently received a message saying nobody said Carl Anderson approved. I re-sent the email with their own written verification - and they STILL said nobody from the Knights ever said Carl Anderson approved. There it was in black and white, but that was their story and they were sticking to it.

I was never anything but respectful to them in any conversation I had with them. Yet, again, trustworthy sources told me that the Deputy was referring to me as 'some broad'. I circled back with him -- and he denied he said it.

Everyone was a liar but him.

It is becoming clearer by the minute that we no longer have a Catholic newspaper loyal to the Mystical Body of Christ above all things. It is also becoming increasingly clear that apostolates like the Catholic Action League, Immaculate Heart of Mary School, ChurchMilitant TV, Pewsitter and a couple of handfuls of Catholic bloggers are more relevant and powerful than apostolates where millions of dollars are being poured into them.

Deo Gratis!

Fare the well. The time has come.

Another day, another headscratcher from Pope Francis.

This time he claimed the Catholic Church hasn't been allowing people who make mistakes inside of the Church.

'A man - a woman - that you feel sick in the soul, sad, who made many mistakes in life, at some time feel that the waters are moving, is the Holy Spirit that moves something, or hear a word or ... 'Ah, I want to go!' ... It takes courage and goes. And how many times today in Christian communities located closed doors: But you can not, no, you can not. You have the wrong here and you can not. If you want to come, come to Mass on Sunday, but stay there, but do not do more '...

Oh come on.

If he comes 15 minutes before the Mass, he can have his sins absolved and receive the Divinity of Christ into his soul like the rest of us.

A freudian slip?:

We call today to the Lord in the Mass for us, for each of us and for the whole Church, a conversion to Jesus, a conversion to Jesus, a conversion to the mercy of Jesus. And so the law will be fully accomplished, because the Law is to love God and our neighbor as ourselves. "

Blessed St. Patrick's Day!

MA KofC Claims THEY are victims

MA KofC spoke to media machine CNA and through an 'anonymous source' that sounds exactly like Russel Steinback, claims they are the victims of a smear campaign.

Basically, an unsigned article from EWTN citing three anonymous sources accusing CJ Doyle of successfully getting the message out.

“The fact is that Doyle and his group created a scandal,” the source said. “The Knights were marching in defense of the faith, and did not want to leave the parade because they wanted someone in the parade to continue to stand for Church teaching. They believed that pulling out of this parade would abandon it entirely to non-Catholic elements, and that this would not be helpful to the evangelization of the people of Boston.”

CJ didn't create a scandal. Marty Walsh and the people who tried to force Catholics to clap for sex created the scandal.

Further, the KofC claiming they only wanted someone in the parade to stand for Church teaching is like having Bill and Hillary Clinton crash the Synod claiming they only wanted to defend the Deposit of Faith!

These people just don't get what happened.

They sat in the spectator seats at the Coliseum for 23 years as the Romans released ravenous lions to kill us. They help elect and support our oppressors. Now they book a ride in the Roman chariots at their victory parade and tell the scarred and broken warriors it's all about defending the faith?

Please.

If the KofC wanted to stand for Church teaching, they would have stood with defenders of the faith in our Catholic parade for the last 23 years.

If the KofC spends a couple of decades empowering the election and careers of proabortion politicians and sabotaging the election of prolifers, when you claim you are putting on your capes and swords to drive a truck on East 4th Street to "get out a prolife message", nobody should have to explain why that message is received as duplicitous and farcical.

Nobody should have to explain why we don't line children up on the side of the streets to clap for a political event blaspheming a Catholic Saint.

Eyewitnesses reported that they did not see a single family - NOT ONE family with children at the contemptible political attack on Catholics. It was all college kids drinking booze. Nobody should have to explain why lucid Catholic mothers kept their families away from Marty Walsh passing out crack pipes to the uncatechized drunks.

This was my favorite part:

One Catholic official in New England suggested that the effect of this campaign could be chilling for any Catholic group trying to evangelize in a public forum.

“What is now clear to Catholics in Boston is that if your strategy for spreading the faith differs from someone like Doyle’s, they will attack you personally, will unleash their angry and uncharitable followers, and won’t let the facts get in the way of their agenda.”

Is that not the kicker?

It isn't the politicians they help elect and bestow honors upon silencing evangelization, it isn't the lavender mafia silencing evangelization, it isn't thugs who won't let us have a Catholic event without clapping for fornication silencing evangelization, it isn't the 50 years of ordaining and hiring heretics, it isn't the Catechism they flushed down the toilets, it isn't a Pope endorsing immoral conduct and slandering faithful Catholics.

It's us not letting these facts get in the way of an agenda. Clearly somebody who can't see beyond the end of their own nose.

Finally, as a woman who spoke respectfully to Rusell Steinback who then later referred to me as 'some broad', his allegation his critics were angry and vulgar is not very believable.

The Knights of Columbus are bleeding members because they do not uphold the faith. They have smeared themselves and the parade is the tip of an iceberg.

What's next for Marty Walsh?

Now that Mayor Marty Walsh has turned children's parades into public confessions of sexual conduct and misconduct, I wonder what family and children's events Marty will foist sex into next.

Catholic Feast Day Parades. Marty could add Boston parades named after other Catholic Saints, each one with it's own sexual theme. A patron saint for each parade: people who proudly have one night stands, people attracted to prostitutes, people attracted to phone sex, people attracted to sadomasochism.

Nobody would acknowledge his antiCatholic bigotry and mockery of the Catholic religion for what it is.

Italian Catholic Feasts in the North End. They could add parade floats to ride behind the statues of the Holy Family and Catholic Saints and the children could pin money on people who tell tourists about their sex life.

Disney on Ice. The skaters could push a chariot loaded with people wearing shirts about the sex they have and tell all the children to yell 'woot-woot'.

Barnum and Bailey's Three-Ring Circus. All the lights could be turned off and they ride in on elephants and the children could salute with light-up phallic symbols.

Swan Boats. A swan boat could be designated for each type of sexual attraction.

Why not?

The Chancery would say they're not sponsoring the events so it has nothing to do with them.

Cardinal Dolan could serve as the parade marshal.

The Knights of Columbus could sponsor floats to help all the little children.

The Jesuits at Boston College could invite Marty to be the commencement speaker.

The Pontifical Council for Culture could make an infomercial for each parade.

The Roman Curia could work them into October's Synod on the Family.

Pope Francis could invite everyone to Communion after the parades.

Patheos could attack Catholics who disapprove of the errors, omissions and craven conduct of the shepherds.

You can't make this stuff up!

Open Letter to Knights of Columbus

(More news yesterday on Boston's St. Patrick's Day parade. I am in a time crunch but wanted to let readers know that I wrote to MA and National KofC leadership and share my email with you.)

+
IHS

Dear Brothers in Christ,

As you are aware, yesterday Boston's gay pride parade organizers were officially entered into the St. Patrick's Day gay pride parade.

This lewd and lascivious group, whose parade floats include nudity and simulating sodomy, said 'they do not know how many of their members are going to march in the St. Patrick's Day parade.

You've got to be kidding us with the farcical screed circulated by KofC leadership and posted on the MA KofC website.

The Knights of Columbus had no business joining an event that disclosed to underage children and families what kind of sex the marchers are having and asked them to clap for it.

What's the next showcase and recruiting event? At a strip club on LaGrange Street?

The conduct of an event and overall message to the people watching it is a critical factor in the judgment of Catholic apostolate participation. The sophomoric cheap shot blaming your critics for your own poor judgment obscures a valuable lesson to be learned.

Mayors Walsh and Menino repeatedly made clear during their tenure they will not let us practice and teach our religion. The Archbishop conceded our right to practice and teach our religion and has handed his people over oppression. The men underneath him are following his lead. There were a handful of men in town willing to say the interference and obstruction of our government and demoralization our children was wrong.

The time to attempt to enter the public square to showcase and retain our values in our family events happens as the politicians are applying pressure.

Our archbishops have to strap on their big boy pants make the right statements to the press. That parade has a Catholic Saints name on it. The Archbishops people marched in it and observed it. His responsibilities are not limited to things the Chancery sponsors. His job includes involvement in the unconstitutional interference with the practice of our religion. He can't indulge and honor or be gaga for politicians as they are defeating their flock.

The Knights of Columbus has to get into the game as families are under attack. They can't force Catholics to host gay marriages at their halls. They can't support the election of baby murderers and politicians who will demoralize our people. They can't appoint them as parade marshals.

The time to 'showcase our values' with this parade has passed. We needed you for the last 23 years. We did not have the troops and the parade has become a public event asking children to applaud homosexual sex.

This situation is not going to get better any time soon. Over the past few days, Pope Francis announced he is "a real wimp". Something observers of the papacy of endorsing immoral conduct and attacking faithful Catholics have suspected for some time.

We need to get our act together.

I would invite each of you to read Don Bosco's vision, pray on it in front of the Blessed Sacrament. I have posted the critical mass below. We are in the midst of it. Good times are ahead. We need good men and timing of when and what we do is critical.

When the enemy sets fire to our treasures, that is the time to rush to the scene with your hoses. Don't use your apostolate to help elect or empower the arsonists. Don't join the arsonists victory parade after they have pillaged and destroyed over the bodies of the valiant men who tried to preserve our rights and our faith.

In Christ, cm
Mother, Grandmother and blogger

Don Bosco's Dream:

Try to picture yourselves with me on the seashore, or, better still, on an outlying cliff with no other land in sight. The vast expanse of water is covered with a formidable array of ships in battle formation, prows fitted with sharp spear-like beaks capable of breaking through any defence. All are heavily armed with cannons, incendiary bombs, and firearms of all sorts - even books - and are heading toward one stately ship, mightier than them all. As they try to close in, they try to ram it, set it afire, and cripple it as much as possible.

"This stately vessel is shielded by a flotilla escort. Winds and waves are with the enemy. In this midst of this endless sea, two solid columns, a short distance apart, soar high into the sky: one is surmounted by a statue of the Immaculate Virgin at whose feet a large inscription reads: Help of Christians; the other, far loftier and sturdier, supports a [Communion] Host of proportionate size and bears beneath it the inscription Salvation of believers.

"The flagship commander - the Roman Pontiff [the Pope]- seeing the enemy's fury and his auxiliary ships very grave predicament, summons his captains to a conference. However, as they discuss their strategy, a furious storm breaks out and they must return to their ships. When the storm abates, the Pope again summons his captains as the flagship keeps on its course. But the storm rages again. Standing at the helm, the Pope strains every muscle to steer his ship between the two columns from whose summits hang many anchors and strong hooks linked to chains.

"The entire enemy fleet closes in to intercept and sink the flagship at all costs. They bombard it with everything they have: books and pamphlets, incendiary bombs, firearms, cannons. The battle rages ever more furious. Beaked prows ram the flagship again and again, but to no avail, as, unscathed and undaunted, it keeps on its course. At times a formidable ram splinters a gaping hole into its hull, but, immediately, a breeze from the two columns instantly seals the gash.

"Meanwhile, enemy cannons blow up, firearms and beaks fall to pieces, ships crack up and sink to the bottom. In blind fury the enemy takes to hand-to-hand combat, cursing and blaspheming. Suddenly the Pope falls, seriously wounded. He is instantly helped up but, struck down a second time, dies. A shout of victory rises from the enemy and wild rejoicing sweeps their ships. But no sooner is the Pope dead than another takes his place. The captains of the auxiliary ships elected him so quickly that the news of the Pope's death coincides with that of his successor's election. The enemy's self-assurance wanes.

"Breaking through all resistance, the new Pope steers his ship safely between the two columns and moors it to the two columns; first to the one surmounted by the Host, and then to the other, topped by the statue of the Virgin. At this point something unexpected happens. The enemy ships panic and disperse, colliding with and scuttling each other. Some auxiliary ships which had gallantly fought alongside their flagship are the first to tie up at the two columns.

"Many others, which had fearfully kept far away from the fight, stand still, cautiously waiting until the wrecked enemy ships vanish under the waves. Then, they too head for the two columns, tie up at the swinging hooks, and ride safe and tranquil beside their flagship. A great calm now covers the sea."

At this point Don Bosco asked one of the priests present for his views. He replied that he thought that the flagship symbolised the Church headed by the Pope, with the ships representing mankind and the sea as an image of the world. The ships defending the flagship he equated with the laity and the attackers with those trying to destroy the Church, while the two columns represented devotion to Mary and the Eucharist.

He did not mention the death of the Pope and neither did Don Bosco in his reply, in which he agreed with what the priest had said, while adding that the enemy ships symbolised persecutions:

"Very grave trials await the Church. What we have suffered so far is almost nothing compared to what is going to happen. The enemies of the Church are symbolised by the ships which strive their utmost to sink the flagship. Only two things can save us in such a grave hour: devotion to Mary and frequent Communion. Let us do our very best to use these two means and have others use them everywhere."

MA Knights of Columbus Passive`Aggressive Screed

Over the past 24 hours, Catholics received word that organizers of Boston's public orgy on parade floats were being added to the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Boston now has two gay sex pride parades, one of them with the Catholic patron Saint of Boston's name on it.

The parade has turned into a political and cultural public event for anti-Catholic bigotry:

"We were wicked proud and delighted," said Sylvain Bruni, president of Boston Pride which organizes the annual June parade that includes as many as 22,000 marchers.

"Their decision which apparently was unanimous to allow us to march shows great progress ... really a historic moment where things are turning."

"I think the message is that there are a lot of changes happening in South Boston," said Bruni, who could not predict how many of their members will actually march since they only began spreading the word 24 hours ago.

Sen. Edward Markey, D-MA, said Friday he will be marching as well as Gov. Charlie Baker, Rep. Seth Moulton, D-MA, and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh.

Bruni said they also have invited Angela Menino to join them Sunday. Her husband, Tom Menino, the former mayor, had refused for over two decades to march in the parade because of its past policy.

ISIS must be busy.

The latest development made it indisputable that the Massachusetts Knights of Columbus were marching with their capes, swords and hats with feathers to 'showcase their good works' and 'recruit members' in an anti-Catholic gay pride parade.

Yesterday, Brian Canemaker reported that MA KofC State Deputy Russell Steinbach told him that Catholics pulling out of the parade 'had their beliefs' and he has his own beliefs.

We read him Br. Dalton’s quote, “Catholics are forbidden to sponsor or even participate in an event which openly promotes unnatural and immoral behavior.” We asked him if he agrees with it.

“They have their Catholic beliefs and I have my beliefs,” Steinback answered. He wouldn’t elaborate beyond that. And he reiterated that he wasn’t changing his mind about the Knights of Columbus being in the parade.

Sure enough, on Wednesday evening we were notified that Steinbeck had sent out another email to his statewide members, again inviting them to come and march in the parade on Sunday – and to be sure and bring their families to this “family friendly” event!

Apparently, the beliefs of the Catholic Church are irrelevant when Russel Steinbach makes leadership judgments on appropriate involvement of a Catholic apostolate.

But, somebody pulled his plug as they announced the Knights are withdrawing, but the announcement is quite a little passive-aggressive screed.

You see, they only wanted to honor the great St. Patrick and the contributions of Irish Catholics at a family event of unity and celebration.

The Massachusetts State Council of the Knights of Columbus had planned to march in the 2015 St. Patrick’s Day Parade as a Catholic witness, to honor this great Catholic saint and in gratitude for the contributions of Irish Americans to the history of our country. We did so in the belief that the St. Patrick’s Day Parade would be an occasion for unity and celebration in the city of Boston. We deeply regret that some (that would be us) have decided to use this occasion to further the narrow objectives of certain special interests (the teachings of the Catholic Church), which has subjected this occasion to undeserved division and controversy (The Knights didn't want to march and threatened to resign). In addition, certain groups have chosen to misrepresent our reason for marching, insisting that we were participating in the parade to support another group or for political reasons. Such allegations are complete fabrications and have no basis in reality whatsoever. Because the parade has become politicized and divisive, and because of the misrepresentation of our motive for participating, we will not be marching in this year’s parade. Instead we invite Catholics to join us in prayer to celebrate St. Patrick during the hours of the parade.

Right. Because the Knights of Columbus marching in an antiCatholic fornication parade couldn't be the stupid idea that subjected the occasion into something divisive.

They just couldn't be mean and own up to their mistake.

What a pathetic excuse for leadership in a Catholic apostolate.

Somebody better keep an eye on them as Plan B for the family unity event could be a strip club on LaGrange Street.

n.b.

A huge thank you to the Brothers and families of Immaculate Heart of Mary School, CJ, Pewsitter, Michael Voris and Church Militant TV, Mary Ann Krietzer, Janet Baker, and Knight members who let the leadership know the Knights of Columbus had no business marching in a clapping fornication parade.

Next: Getting our Catholic Saint's name off of that parade.

Vatican Hosts Conference with Speaker Who Promotes Gay Sex as Equivalent to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

The presence of the outside-organized event held inside the Vatican is being forthrightly hailed by organizers and the secular media as feminist victory over the traditional stance of the Church. Among the organizers and speakers were Deborah Rose-Milavec, one of the US’s most prominent agitators for female ordination, and Tina Beattie, a British feminist academic notorious for her advocacy for abortion, homosexual relations, and “gay marriage,” and who once compared the Catholic Mass to homosexual sex.

Because when you're in charge of something in Pope Francis' Roman Curia and you're vetting ideas to host a Conference, speakers who advocate contraception, abortion and gay sex is the same as Transubstantiation is right up your alley.

On the website of Voices of Faith, Rose-Milavec said the seminar “could be a key agent in providing Pope Francis and others in leadership with both the vision and tools necessary to carry out his desire for a more incisive female presence in the Church.”

“This would benefit all men and women but particularly women who are poor and powerless and who have been left behind economically, socially and politically,” she added.

The Holy See seems to have a whole erotica theme going on.

Not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law..

What a day. I just couldn't get away from the "Pope Francis effect"!

It started at 6am when I opened up my Magnificant Lenten Companion and read today's reflection.

I used to love Magnificat but stopped subscribing when they began to add Heather King et al, to the line up of solid reflections from Fr. Rutler, Anthony Easolen, Fr. Romanus Cessario and the Doctors of the Church. I picked up the Lenten edition to see if it cleaned up the drivel. Suffice it to say I won't be subscribing any time soon. Too bad, because I really love 80% of it, but I just don't have the bandwidth to subject myself to another thing being infiltrated with pablum and theology that is a bit off of the rails.

Anyhow, today's reflection was from a priest who explains that he had an epiphany about today's Gospel. "when the Lord tells us that not even the smallest letter will pass from the law, he is not telling us to be legalists. Rather, he asks us to understand the fullness of the law, moving beyond its restricted meaning to its fuller meaning in the context of divine revelation. And this broader context is found in the encounter with Jesus'.

Jesus said to his disciples:
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets.
I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away,
not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter
will pass from the law,
until all things have taken place.
Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments
and teaches others to do so
will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven.
But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments
will be called greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.”

There isn't any complicated message that tries to convince Christ's people that if you encounter Jesus, there is laxity in following His Laws and Commandments.

You can take His Words at face value: Don't stray a millimeter from the law and don't teach other's to stray a millimeter from the law or you are going down.

Obedience to God, even when people say they will kill us if we teach it, preach it and practice it, is THE moral of Christ's story.

I read an excellent, succinct description of Pope Francis written by a priest to the Remnant.

Boy, did it ever hit me between the eyes:

I’m reassured to read your articles taking Pope Francis to task for his many attacks on faithful Catholics, while at the same time endorsing the immoral behavior of others.

Whoah, that's what happening, isn't it.

I mean...there it is in all it's simplicity: The Pope is attacking faithful Catholics and endorsing immoral conduct.

Who does that?

And the fruit of this tree seems like it has erased 2000 years of Saints and Doctors of the Church.

The locusts who have been fed from the breast of this beast of an agenda are swarming all over us.

The Pope has empowered every heretic from here to kingdom come and they are destroying everything.

Have you read this story from Katrina telling the story of Fr. Kevin O'Brien who denied her Communion on the tongue at her Grandmother's funeral?

This guy chooses grieving relatives to impose his disgust upon those of us who have too much respect for the Eucharist to lose a crumb of It to the bottom of our shoes.

A word to the wise: If a priest denies your dying relatives Viacitum, the likelihood he is going to validly substantiate the Eucharist is pretty low. Find another priest and another parish. Unless you like to be ministered to by the devil.

This was in vogue in Boston 10-15 years ago. You couldn't get a priest to give Viaticum. I think it's a little better but you have to be persistent and know that the shepherd is a believer. Otherwise, they will just get a 'blessing'. They'll be 'blessed' out of the opportunity to die in a state of Grace.

Here's the kicker with Reverend Obrien: When you go to the parish website, there's a big advertisement with a picture of St. Therese of Lisieux and the message that the parish is 'celebrating 60 years of doing small things with love'.

At the bottom of the website, in large letters, is this message:

As followers of Jesus,
nourished by the Word, the Eucharist,
and one another,
we are called to joyfully spread the Good News
by praising God, serving the poor,
comforting the sick and welcoming all.

Give us a break.

Drop him an email and respectfully let him know his pants are on fire in Catholic blogosphere.

KOBrien@StThereseChesVA.org

I wrote him and told him if I were his bishop, he'd be without faculties and a job tomorrow and the papers would be on their way to Rome to be defrocked.

If we had a nickel for every rat on the ship just like him that led the people we love astray the last 50 years, we'd all be rich.

This is it. This is why Pope Francis's attack on faithful Catholics, endorsing immoral conduct and prancing around telling us it's a waltz of mercy, caring and kindness received such a visceral reaction.

The sermon I heard from the priest today spoke about the importance of faithfully teaching others right from wrong, and the sufferings of so many parents who are in pain because their children have been misled by teachers and the ordained, the consequences we are all experiencing in the world because of the dereliction of duty. I had to hold back tears for all of us!

That is the tack Pope Francis should have taken.

Not telling us mercy hooodwinks the people we love into immorality and insults, slanders and threatens the people who expose their misconduct.

Potato, potahto, Tomato, tomahto. Let's call the whole thing off.

Pope Francis hailed the courage of Catholics who worked for Liturgical changes that brought us empty pews, moral bankruptcy, the shuttering of Parishes and Catholic schools, reduction in vocation and religious life, a flock that doesn't know their prayers, religion or right from wrong and said we must keep going forward with this magnificent agenda.

Let us thank the Lord for what he has done in his Church in these 50 years of liturgical reform. It was truly a courageous gesture for the Church to draw near to the people of God so that they are able to understand well what they are doing. This is important for us, to follow the Mass in this way. It is not possible to go backwards. We must always go forward. Always forward (applause)! And those who go backward are mistaken. Let us go forward on this path (applause, cheers). Thank you.

Here are some pictures of the parish life when Catholics just didn't understand:

Here.

Here.

Here.

We wouldn't wan't to go back when the Sacred Liturgy brought this kind of fruit.

That would be a big booboo.

It took real courage to institute the successful march forward to changes brought with Vatican II.

Here are some pictures of parish life when people really understood what was going on.

See what happens when people are able to understand HERE.

A million thank you's to the courageous people who brought the successful changes HERE.

Grab the eight old ladies and CHARGE FORWARD!

Hail, hail the gang's all here

People understand better now?

I've met a lot of priests and bishops who are out of touch with reality, but this one takes first place blue ribbon.

They haven't a CLUE what is going on in that Sanctuary.

In a full Church, there are less than a handful that know where Christ is, what He is doing and what is happening in that Sanctuary. While the handful are at Gethsemene, the Praetorium, Golgotha, they are bored out of their minds waiting for the religious entertainment. The stand up comedian. A sappy song.

They are ignorant of the presence of the Communion of Saints and Choir of Angels.

They were robbed by the 'courageous' men and women.

He is definitely not living in the same world we are - that is for sure!

Could this be the replacement for the Knights of Columbus?

Cardinal Burke heading the Holy League of Men.

At this particular moment in time, the Church finds itself in a similar situation to that of the Church in the late Sixteenth Century. However, instead of a physical enemy on the horizon, the Church and the family (the domestic Church) are threatened daily by relativism, secularism, impurity, and confusion regarding Church teaching. The battle today “is not against human forces but against the principalities and powers, the rulers of this world of darkness, the evil spirits in the heavens” (Ephesians 6: 10-12).

In response, faithful Catholics are longing to come together to combat these preternatural forces of evil. These men need something that will bring them together so that they can all work toward a common goal. The goal is to be in the state of grace, and that is why a new Holy League is being formed. Without this spiritual armor, we are naked on the battlefield, vulnerable to every tactic of the devil. Thus, the first move in spiritual warfare is to prepare for battle; to, quite literally, “Put on Christ!”

Crux Articulates Pope Francis is Leading Faithful Catholics to be Less Faithful

When it comes to the practices of our religion, the secular press often describes faithfulness on a scale of "left to right". It's an error of using political language to credential whether a Catholic teaches and practices as the Deposit of Faith instructs or they teach others to contradict Church teaching.

APOSTATE                                    HERETIC                                    THE DEPOSIT OF FAITH

Left<-------------------------------------center----------------------------------------------->Right
Liberal                                                                                                                        Conservative
Progressive                                                                                                                 Traditionalist

When the secular press makes judgments, a person who would be 'on the left' would repudiate or renounce Church teaching in its totality, by Catholic definition, an apostate.

A person in 'the center' of faithfulness to doctrine would repudiate and mislead other Catholics into rejecting some teachings but accepts 50% of Church teaching.

A person on 'the right' of the secular tool to measure faithfulness accepts and teaches faithfulness to the Deposit of Faith in its totality.

John Allen has written an article  and another one here that seems to maroon Pope Francis on the isle of his agenda: To lead Catholics away from the Deposit of Faith.

Be sure to check out the photo of the Pope with the halo around his head.

Here are various citations from the articles:

To put the point differently, Francis himself appears convinced there’s a mystical subtext to the kind of pope he’s become.

On the subject of whether Francis is a liberal or a conservative, the usual take in the media is that he’s a progressive and thus lukewarm at best, openly hostile at worst, to more conservative forces in the Church.

Francis ticked off several temptations that the Church must avoid if it’s to resolve its challenges successfully. It must not succumb to a “hostile rigidity,” a fussy legalism devoid of compassion and subtlety. At the same time, it must also reject what he called a “destructive do-goodism” and a “false mercy,” a touchy-feely morality incapable of calling sin by its name. The Church must not impose “impossible burdens” on people,

Ultimately, the 2014 synod of bishops signaled Pope Francis’s ambition to lead the Catholic Church to the political center,

The core argument of this book is that Francis is a man on a mission. He wants to be a change agent, a historic reformer who reorients the Catholic Church decisively across multiple fronts.

There are three main thrusts to his reforming zeal. First, Francis aims to steer Catholicism back to the political and ecclesiastical center, following a period in which it appeared to drift ever more steadily to the right during the twilight of the papacy of John Paul II and the eight years of Benedict XVI. Hard-line bishops who prospered during that stretch, such as American Cardinal Raymond Burke, have had their wings clipped.

Yet in Catholicism, the official teaching is often less important than how it’s applied in real-world circumstances, and that’s the level at which the true “Francis effect” is being felt.

Second, Francis wants Catholics to “get out of the sacristy and into the streets.”

As part of that reform agenda, Francis has proposed a sweeping decentralization in Catholicism by transferring power from Rome to local churches around the world.

Right. Because when you have a see of priests and bishops who are living with their lovers, cruising highway stops to find some afternoon delight, leading the flock to clapping fornication, drinking, threatening and bully--leading them us all to be less faithful and removing a structure that would hold them accountable is exactly what the doctor ordered.

It's what the Globe calls a genuine miracle.
