The odd thing is, it seems harder and harder to get a priest to spend more than 30 minutes hearing confessions. The other day Ilterally had to wait outside a sacristy because the priest was not in the confessional box at the appointed time. He was about to leave for the rectory when I asked him if he would hear confessions. Far from the first time I've had priests not show up for it either.<br /><br />I don't get this.
