I watched a movie this weekend on John Paul II and was again reminded how similar in personality and charism Pope Francis is to Blessed John Paul II. The fall of Poland to the communists, the game plan for getting through the hate and murdering dictators refined +JPII like gold. He was able save lives and guide many Catholics through the crucible to their sanctity. In spite of everything.
