Confessions of a Catholic Blogger

This post from the bear really hit home with me!

Bless me father for I have blogged...

The photoshopped "I can't get away from him" picture is hysterical!

I don't know what's the matter with me. I just can't seem to take a shine to the confusion sown by the devil or the communists. LOL.

Seriously, there's a lot to keep in mind in this...ah...situation.

A few weeks back, I linked to some posts during the consecration like this one.

On February 1, I wrote an article that made the case that we are heading into the final year of reign of Satan, foretold in Pope Leo XIII’s vision...

The Latin phrase, motus in fine velocior, is commonly used to indicate the faster passing of the time at the end of an historical period. I’ve heard it said that it means, “Things accelerate toward the end.” We are living through an historical hour which is not necessarily the end of times, but certainly could be marked as the end of an era.

Up until recent years, I was completely unaware of this prophecy attributed to Our Lady of Good Success, but many years prior to that, I had been saying that “something happened … something erupted in the 1960s …”

“Thus I make it known to you that from the end of the 19th century and shortly after the middle of the 20th century…the passions will erupt and there will be a total corruption of morals… As for the Sacrament of Matrimony, which symbolizes the union of Christ with His Church, it will be attacked and deeply profaned. Freemasonry, which will then be in power, will enact iniquitous laws with the aim of doing away with this Sacrament, making it easy for everyone to live in sin and encouraging procreation of illegitimate children born without the blessing of the Church … In this supreme moment of need for the Church, the one who should speak will fall silent.” -Our Lady of Good Success

I think we have a bigger problem than his 'falling silent' but I digress.

Observing the world, one can't help but notice the dramatic increase in diabolical disorientation. Pope Leo XIII's time frame for the reign of the devil could be coming to a close. It's like we are living in a world where a spell has been cast over the village and we are trying to navigate through the walking dead, trying to wake up the zombies.

A fair number of priests have spent a few decades imprisoning Sanctifying Grace and the Holy Father is now strengthening their fortress. Moreover he is calling the people we've catechized and preserved from the wolf to practice against the tools for Sanctifying Grace.

I've come to the conclusion the Holy Father gets our people are so far from Sanctifying Grace they're hearts are too hardened for the intellect to process truth. I think he's on the same page with us this far.

It starts getting stupid after this meeting of the minds.

Instead of stopping and disciplining priests who are hoodwinking them and giving our people the tools for salvation, he's empowered wolves and even adopted their talking points.

I've come to the conclusion the Holy Father is well-intentioned and honestly believes luring the cathechized into making judgments on temptation with the talking points of disordered prelates is... helping us all out. No amount of explaining what is happening to our well-catechized family members makes any difference to him.

A good man trying to resuscitate lousy ideas. Lousy ideas that have repeatedly failed through centuries and do not stand up to Catholic theology and Scripture.

I have learned from experience: Try though I may, the Holy Father's good intentions do not seem to be giving a boost to my temperance. I have to give me a few days to cool off before I write about it and make some extra trips to the Sacrament of Confession, Adoration.

The temperature is rising in the furnace. In fire, gold will be tested.

With respect to Catholics articulating the Holy Father's contradictions with Scripture and the Deposit of Faith, there's no question it is a spiritual challenge. One that I occasionally take to the Sacraments not so much for what I say as what I have to stop myself from saying. Especially when I encounter a person whose salvation has been further imperiled by the adultery being sown as virtue during this pontificate.

Believe it or not, I have one commenter who is so screwed up, they're unable to grasp the concept of being faithful to Christ in this crucible. This individual thinks Christ's elect should follow the beliefs of a pope contradicting Church teaching, rather than Church teaching Itself.

Pope says: "Practice Church teaching"
Another Pope says: "Contradict Church teaching with practice"

This poor slob can't see one road leads to Heaven and one to hell. He is not alone.

I believe blogs are critical to shining the light into the darkness.

The Fr. Rosica conference was one of the most spiritually entertaining moments of the screwball spirituality from this pontificate.

“Often times the obsessed, scrupulous, self-appointed, nostalgia-hankering virtual guardians of faith or of liturgical practices are very disturbed, broken and angry individuals, who never found a platform or pulpit in real life and so resort to the Internet and become trolling pontiffs and holy executioners.

Catholic parenting can't hold a candle to the platform of the salt and light of livestreaming heretics on the internet? He's living the dream.

Hey - they are not going to let the results of a pontificate slandering the practice of credos in the Catechism steal their momentum.

The show must go on. Blame the blogs. It couldn't possibly be them, right?

A ray of hope for them in the United States: the pope is right up there with the biggest enemy of Christians in the US - Barack Hussein. Pope Francis is in the running to be as admired as spiritual heavyweights of the world, Michelle Obama, Angelina Jolie and Oprah Winfrey.

Game on. Find more apostates and parade them around St. Peter's Square in front of our children. Put the Pope in audience and have him applaud. Appoint episcopal heretics to write more papal exhortations. Hang the communist fist necklace around the Pope's neck for photo ops. Fly to communist nations and praise murdering dictators. Fly communist Bernie Sanders to a luxury suite beside the Pope's hotel room. Find more shepherds misleading souls and appoint them as your spokesperson to caricature faithful Catholics.

Why should the guardians of the faith in the home find this disturbing?

Why can't we just grab a bicycle and ride around the sanctuary like they do?

What's there to be angry about?

Why let their liturgical practice of hoverboarding around Christ Crucified get us into a tizzy.

Oh wait.

Blogging through this storm is not an easy chore. Pray for bloggers.

Meanwhile, here a little Sunday nugget of wisdom for the Romans:

If a handful of Catholic blogs are being read by the Holy See and are the subject of a press conference by the Pope's spokesman - it is time to face a startling climax:

It is a platform. And an effective one at that.

I loved fr. Rocia quote. I am an irish Catholic so i am occationally disturbed. Broken and angry, Jesus still made me to know love and serve him, and i hope be with him in the next. We should be very clear, Rosica is the spokesman for the freemasonic sodomite power base currently in power in Rome and what he decribes is the church militant's voice. Iif the 'old boy' hates ya that much, you must be doing something right! 1peter5 scored a direct hit prompting the 1st official statement from the retired (?) Pope re;Fatima. PAY ATTENTION. Would a General tell his soldiers "my dear little children... thank you for responding to my call" ? Im thinking "clean you weapon and restock your ammo" is more prudent at this point. Thanks bloggers.
