The general purposes of the corporation shall be to conduct, promote and carry on activities for religious, charitable and educational purposes and to engage in and carry on any other activities permitted to a corporation organized under Chapter 180 of the Massachusetts General Laws but to the extent that such activities shall not preclude the classification of the corporation as an organization exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. (a) To preserve and defend the civil and constitutional freedoms of Roman Catholics to work in all careers and vocations with freedom from coercion to violate their conscience; freedom from intimidation; freedom from persecution; freedom from extortion or any other activity that violates the freedoms of Roman Catholics in their pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. The Corporation reserves the right to all lawful provisions for the conduct and regulation of the business and affairs of the corporation for limiting, defining, regulating the powers of the corporation and of its directors and officers. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
