One Night Stand - How to Do It Right

The Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows~September 15th

Had a rough start today.

When I pulled into the Commuter rail station today, there was a dead train sitting there. That backed up the commute, the train was crowded and when I got to South Station - I was dead smack in front of the train that crashed into the platform today. I'm not exaggerating when I say I was between the headlights about twenty feet from the front of the train.

In between the broken train, the replacement with every inch of space taken up with bodies breathing on top of each other and the crash at South Station, I made the mistake of opening the nutty Metro "newspaper" and reading it.

I didn't get very far before I came across this little featured story: One Night Stand, How to Do It Right

Here's their enticing lead in:

If you are a pro, a beginner or just a wisher and dreamer, our guide will show you the ‘ins and outs’ of the etiquette of bedding down for a night so that all parties involved walk away with a smile and maybe even a fantasy fulfilled

Yeah. Who among us after a job loss or experiencing the death of a good friend doesn't fantasize about guys who want to bed you down and walk away.

Nothing more attractive than these heroes of chicken soup for the soul.

In the right kind of environment, you might even be able to say, with a cheeky grin, “Let’s have sex and never see each other again.”

It is humanly impossible for rational and healthy women to detach from their emotions when they are expressing love and joy they are giving sexually.

Sexuality IS the expression of a woman's emotions. Women out cruising for one-night stands are expressing repressed rage, bitterness, anger, problems with self-esteem, mental and emotional stability.

An article like this is a crime against humanity because it is taking advantage of unstable people. Instead of being a healing force, a source of light and goodness to people who experienced a trauma that desensitized their emotions, you ambush them at a low moment and tell them they can find sexual joy with a cad who will physically and sexually abuse them and walk out the door with a smile on their face?

Because this person doesn’t know you so well, use it as an opportunity to experiment: Be a little kinkier, whatever that means for you. Perhaps it’s role-playing and spanking. But if you’re going to attempt any dirty talk, never demand, “Say my name,” just in case the other person already forgot it (awkward). Also, never let a stranger tie you up (duh).

That said, remember that condoms can’t always protect you from everything (including a fibbing stranger), so don’t be surprised if you wake up with a case of herpes a few weeks from now.

If you're looking for more tips on how to join the sluts, the two individuals who authored this article have apparently have a book and a website.

Taking advantage of somebody whose self-esteem is this low is beneath somebody who beats a drunk in a wheelchair or robs a corpse.

A new low in journalism.

Prayer to Our Lady of Sorrows
By St. Bridget

O Blessed Virgin Mary, Immaculate Mother of God, who didst endure a martyrdom of love and grief, beholding the sufferings and sorrows of Jesus! Thou didst co-operate in the benefit of my redemption by thy innumerable afflictions and by offering to the Eternal Father His only-begotten Son as a holocaust and victim of propitiation for my sins. I thank thee for the unspeakable love which led thee to deprive thyself of the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus, true God and true Man, to save me, a sinner. Oh! make use of the unfailing intercession of thy sorrows with the Father and the Son. that I may steadfastly amend my life and never again crucify my loving Redeemer by new sins; arid that, persevering till death in His grace, I may obtain eternal life through the merits of His Cross and Passion. Amen.

Mother of love, of sorrow, and of mercy, pray for us.

Prayer to Christ

- This is RUBBISH -
We live in a post-Christian country where sex is a sport. Women out cruising are expressing intemperance -nothing more nothing less-. The culture at-large has virtually no moral compass.

The metro is the best paper in Boston

There is no such thing as a post-Christian world. There never was and there never will be.

You can desire to kill a woman and stuff her behind a wall and call it living in a world without a moral compass but those of us living in reality are just going to say it's sick.

The two sluts writing this rubbish are sick.

There are things that are God-given and instinctual in a woman and a man. Emotions and sexuality in a woman can NEVER be disconnected. They can be repressed in people who are..sick in one way or another.

Don't lose heart. There's a great many women who adore Christ and use their sexuality to express deep and loving intimacy.

We're everywhere.

Furthermore, I have a lot of friends across the spectrum culturally. Everyone I've brought the article up to is disgusted.

The Metro exploited these two disturbed and sick women.
