President Obama's "safe schools czar," under fire from critics who say he's unfit for his job, acknowledged Wednesday that he "should have handled [the] situation differently" years ago when he was a schoolteacher and didn't report that a 15-year-old boy told him that he was having sex with an older man
Kevin Jennings, the founder of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network, was teaching high school in Concord, Mass., in 1988 when the boy, a sophomore, confessed an involvement with a man he had met in a bus station bathroom in Boston. Jennings has written that he told the boy, "I hope you knew to use a condom."
In a statement issued Wednesday, Jennings said: "Twenty one years later I can see how I should have handled this situation differently. I should have asked for more information and consulted legal or medical authorities."...
"Teachers back then had little training or guidance about this kind of thing," Jennings said. "All teachers should have a basic level of preparedness.
Yeah?
You think that excuse is going to fly do ya?
How about celibate men?
How much training and guidance do you think celibate men were given with this kind of thing?
Here's another situation where if you put the word "Cardinal" in front of his name, his gross malfeasance wouldn't be tolerated for a nanosecond.

Is it necessary to use that title for your post? The attention goes to the Church rather than to Obama’s appointment of a man who protects child rapists. The Church played no role in Kevin Jennings criminal behavior or his promotion of homosexuality in schools through GLSEN. To use a post title that highlights the Church detracts from the very real danger Jennings poses to every child in American public schools.

I was just being snide about how the safe school people are the most dangerous people to entrust your children to with the subject matter.
I'm glad this info is coming out (no pun intended) nationally about this man. Don't forget that his organization, GLSEN, founded GSA (gay straight alliance) clubs in high schools and middle schools and that they were responsible for Fistgate in 2000 here in MA.
