Wolves, Sheep and Fr. Bryan Hehir

Frank Marion's blog has quickly becoming one of my favorite reads.

Here's his latest:

Wolves, Sheep and Bryan Hehir.

The characters throwing money around in this archdiocese seem to have complete control - Jack Connors, John Kaneb, Finneran, Karam - etc.

Truly disturbing.

What the heck is going on with Caritas officials giving thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of cash to Martha Coakley???

This is just part of Frank's excellent resource:
There’s more.  Chair of the Caritas Board, James Karam, quoted in Thursday’s Globe article, contributed more than $19,000 among the campaigns of President Barrack Obama; Hillary Clinton; US Sen. John Kerry; Gov. Deval Patrick; Congresmen Barney Frank, and others.  In total, 5 Caritas Board members have given $58,000 to pro-abortion political candidates.  (Thanks to  Catholic Action League for their research).

By the way, it was Finnegan, Karam and John Kaneb, who picked the President of Caritas Christi, Dr. Ralph de la Torre.  Mr. Kaneb is vice chair of the Archdiocesan Finance Council and came out in support of Notre Dame’s decision to honor pro-abortion President Obama at their 2009 commencement, referring to  Notre Dame as, “a beacon of adherence to its Catholic character.”   (Not!)  Turns out that it was Jack Connors who introduced Dr. de la Torre to the archdiocese search committee, so it all comes full circle.

But wait, there’s one more thing.  Today we learn that de la Torre, his wife and Caritas colleagues gave more than $34,000 to the pro-abortion U.S. Senate candidate, Martha Coakley.  Caritas president even hosted Coakely at a fund-raiser at his Newton home.  For those who forgot, Coakley said on the campaign trail that devout Catholics “probably shouldn’t work in the emergency room.”

The stink of bribe is all over this thing.

Do read the rest of Marion's fascinating post.

This whole situation with Fr. Hehir and the other dissidents taking over the Archdiocese is a grave travesty. If anyone goes to the chrism Mass or Easter Sunday Mass which Cardinal Sean is celebrating, I suggest they approach him afterwards and speak their mind. Squeaky wheels around this place tend to get oiled. That's how the liberals play it, so orthodox Catholics should play the same game.

Dr. De la Torre hatched the scheme for the Caritas Christi system to go for-profit with the Cerebrus corporaton last November when he met with one of their chief executives at a California desert resort, according to the March 28 Boston Globe, "At Caritas helm, a doctor turned dealmaker."

Squeaky wheels?
Again, I feel charged with slamming the barn door extremely hard. THE HORSE LEFT THE BARN. HELLO?

Ya - approach the Cardinal on the highest holiday on the Catholic calendar, at the Cathedral no less? When you do that I'd suggest wearing a t-shirt that say's "Angry Whack Job".

At the risk of being repetitive - The parallel church that finally is coming to light, has been a carefully orchestrated campaign against orthodoxy and the church itself. What since 1974?, 68? How the liberals play it is that they WORK FOR THE DIOCESES, and have been for many many years.

As a first step get the payroll of the diocese and get it published in the Boston Globe (they'd love the scoop, or would they?) The push back you get will be a great exercise in determining just who is in power...You'll be labeled an angry outsider, un-charitable - attempting to hurt the Cardinal, the church and Mother Theresa too. You'll be forced to be left with "am I doing this out of charity?" "am I as angry as they say?, oh -"why should I hurt innocent people who do good work at the diocese?"
And what would be your answer?

Until this -expose Fr. Bad Hair - initiative rises to the level of unwavering Christian Fraternal Correction done in charity and to do less; considered a true sin of omission; it will remain no match for the baby killers and sodomite sympathizers on the prowl.

I agree with LastCatholic that we do seem to have a parallel church that's finally coming to light. My only concern is the use of the word "sodomites." Could we stick to "homosexuals?" We do need, as LC rightly said, unwavering Christian Fraternal Correction done in charity, and that first term, while graphically correct, sounds more angry than charitable.
