Ho Ho Ho.
I really don't have a lot to say about them. I simply don't have anything to share about whether or not they are going to teach the authentic Faith, right wrongs and defend Her.
Some friends whose Catholicism is solid express respect for these two new Bishops. I've had mixed reports on both of them from people who are going through (or have graduated from) these seminaries. As the Globe Article reports, Voice of the Faithful endorsed the choices.
For your edification, I'll share commentary from a friend that I think summarizes our feelings:
Well shoot, if the Voice of the Faithful admires them they must be top notch hey?

We received a new bishop too, and the bottom fell out of my world. I had such hopes.
Sadly, very sadly, I realized that the entire process is strictly political and that the good of the "sheep" counts for nada.
Sometimes I wonder how many more disappointments I can bear regarding Holy Mother Church.
