Are you by any chance a democrat?

It is a political joke, not a symbol of priorities or a religious statement.

A funny.

A hearty har har.

Amen Anon.

When it gets to the point where people start wanting to take away our rights to spending ten dollars on candy for children to give to people who don't want to study in school, go to college, work their asses off for a better life for their own children -- this is beyond the pale.

How much is spent on coffee every day? Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks?

How much is spent on booze every day?

How much on cigarettes?

Cell phone bills every month?

The point of the cartoon editorial is that people have a right to not to bust their butts and pull their own kids out of poverty, like the rest of us did, or we can continue to enable lazy people by taking away the right to spend 10 dollars on candy for trick or treat so we can give just enough to survive in the ghetto to people without the ambition to do what they need to do to get their families into a better life.
