Donald McClarey and his sock puppet Paul Zummo at The American Catholic are angry at Voris for lambasting Cdl. Dolan. They seem to think Mikey isn't showing enough respect for his Holiness. Well, considering Dolan allows a gay parish (who's services he has attended) to operate in his diocese, fumbled the ball on the abortion issue in New York, condemned Arizona's immigration law when that state was trying to bring out of control illegal immigration to a halt, and now, the Al Smith dinner with Obama, I'm amazed that Voris can show any respect at all!

The Al Smith Foundation's board is dominated by Jack Conners type catholycs: well heeled operators who sold out the public witness of the Faith in favor of Mammon.

It's all good in so far as "Cheesehead" Cardinal Dolan is concerned. What a yuck-fest. I'm sure the Cardinal has penciled in a date to welcome the expected next Democratic Mayor of New York and her lesbian "bride". The new mayor will be dictating the proper norms that the Archdiocese of New York must follow in their pastoral outreach to homosexual "married" couples. Henry VIII and Elizabeth had their Cranmers, we've got ours.

Whoah. I don't get around the internet much but thought they were sensible.

That is a disappointment!

Jasper, McClarey and Zummo are establishment Catholics. Namely, they defend the corrupt and incompetent clergy and laity in the Catholic church, and ideas that would have been considered outright liberalism years ago. For example, I was banned last October because I denounced the Martin Luther King statue in DC, because IMO, King's sexually immoral behaviors, the so-called peaceful demonstrations that always turned violent, his total disbelief in Christian revelation, and his hard left, communist links disqualified him from every getting a statue at public expense. Immediately, McClarey and his sock puppet followers started a one week campaign of vilifying me as a racist. Nevermind, that I never once said anything against MLK because he was black. My basis for criticism were the things mentioned above. But McClarey&Co. kept screaming 'racist, racist, racist' even though I gave them plenty of proof that King and many of the leaders of the civil rights movement were radical leftists and outright reds. Finally, McClarey banned me when he realized his shaming campaign wasn't going to work.

They do that over there, they like to talk about character and courage, but when it comes down to it, they will smear people unjustly like liberals do. I dared to say something negative about Jews once and they banned me right away and I was called an anti-semite.
