Patraeus' resignation over eyecandy

This tragedy astounded me.

Does a person who accepts the position of director of the CIA actually think there's such a thing as private email accounts and communications?

He just gets himself some eyecandy and a gmail account for extramarital activities and nobody is watching him?

His naivete all blowed up real good when the eyecandy threatened some other woman.  Last I read, the CIA was stumped as to what that altercation was about.  

Yeah, yeah. Sure.  It must have been that yesterday was that day that we were born.
