Pope Francis Grants Indulgence for Twitter Following

I'm liking this one, and a time-sensitive announcement right before World Youth Day - but uncatechized media reported the story with its usual and customary confusion.





Indulgences do not absolve sins.

Indulgences are not applicable to sins that have not already been confessed and absolved in the Sacrament of Confession.


An indulgence relieves us of temporal punishment of sins that are already Sacramentally absolved.
