Bishop Hubbard's reign of terror has ended
One of the worst scoundrels in the history of the Catholic Church was finally replaced. The damage he did will affect generations.
On the level of the mystical, what he did is much worse than the pedophiles the Church left in place and shuffled for decades.
It is a scandal that his perverted career lasted so long.

Bishop Hubbard did widespread damage for a long time. Here in Boston, individual pastors -- Unni, Fleming, Coyne and others -- do the same damage in their parishes for a long time. Only the scale is different.

My Aunt Sister Serena Branson hand picked him when she became Dir of Catholic Charities in New York. My Aunt began w/ the beautiful habit of the Daughters of Charity--coronet etc. She ended it in a plaid shirt. Man oh man. In my own family. And the church gave her high honors...Thank God he is gone...
Watching these men destroy souls for decades, taking our family members, people we love, neighbors in our communities down the drain with them -- without any ramification, it's a tough thing to watch indeed.
