CDF tells the coven of nuns they can't pick speakers who promote heresy

The National Catholic Reporter is shocked.

Shocked I tell you.

"This concern is even deeper than the Doctrinal Assessment's criticism of the LCWR for not providing a counter-point during presentations and Assemblies when speakers diverge from Church teaching," Müller said. "The Assessment is concerned with positive errors of doctrine seen in the light of the LCWR's responsibility to support a vision of religious life in harmony with that of the Church and to promote a solid doctrinal basis for religious life."

Love it.

I really like this prefect of the CDF.

Just one little problem. The Bishops have been picking speakers who promote heresy for decades.

Monkey see, monkey do.

This is a great start. We'd love to see the ax cut at the root.

What is good for the goose, is good for the gander!

You got that right about our bishops. I'm so sick of what goes on down here. But kudos to Cardinal Muller!

Remember what is reported that Pope Francis said in a June 2013 meeting with top officials of the Latin American Conference of Religious:

Perhaps even a letter of the Congregation for the Doctrine (of the Faith) will arrive for you, telling you such and such a thing. … But do not worry. Explain whatever you have to explain, but move forward.

Well, let's wait and see if Muller is an axe swinger or a bs swinger like so many other cardinals and bishops!

Now let's see if they say anything about Boston College...

Anonymous, I remember. But he was not talking to people who dissent. He is talking to faithful Catholics, faithful priests, etc.
