Exact Quote From Pope Francis Clarifying Cardinal Kasper Agenda

I thank you for your question on the divorced. The [October 2014] Synod will be on the family, its problems, about the richness of family, the current situation of the family. The preliminary presentation that cardinal Kasper made had five chapters. Four on the beautiful things of the family from a theological perspective, family problems, the pastoral problem of separations, matrimonial nullity, divorced and the problem of communion... It did not please me that so many people, including in the Church, priests, etc, spoke of communion for the divorced as if it were all reduced to casuistry. We know that there is a crisis of the family. Young people do not want to get married, or do not get married, live together... I do not wish that we got into casuistry: what can be done or cannot be done... That is why I am so thankful for this question, because it gives me the opportunity to clarify. The pastoral problem of the family is very, very wide, and should not be plucked case by case. That which Pope Benedict said three times - once in the South Tyrol, another time in Milan, and another in a consistory - is that the procedures of matrimonial nullity have to be examined. To study the faith with which a person enters matrimony, and clarify that divorcees are not strange. Oftentimes they are treated as if they were. I am certain that it was the Spirit of the Lord who guided us to choose this theme for the Synod. The family needs much pastoral help.

It did not please our beloved Pope that so many people, including the person he appointed to speak on his behalf, spoke on communion for divorced.

I know this will send shock waves through the Roman Catholic episcopate, but when appointing a person to speak on your behalf, one has to make a judgement about what message you wish to have conveyed. Step two of getting that message conveyed is looking for a person with solid histories of teaching and preaching the message faithfully and succinctly and then appointing them to do the job.

When you appoint and hire persons who have been misleading and demoralizing Catholics in their own fiefdom, it stands to reason those are the convictions that will be taught on your behalf.

Cardinal Kasper has a long history of teaching errors and even leading a formal schism in his own country.

Why do prelates all the way to the top continue to expect us to believe dissent is not the message they intended to convey when they selected such persons?

If I want to teach my family about morals and I hire Charlie Sheen, one must assume I've done my homework and selected the right person to convey the message I wish to have conveyed. I own the outcome.

With all due respect, it is simply not believable to select Kasper, sit back and watch the circus of dissent and confusion he conveys on your behalf, and then claim you did not wish this outcome.

Not owning the outcome feels deceptive and that is impacting credibility and trust.

A survey monkey has demonstrated the overwhelming majority of Catholics have been taught dissent and are being empowered by dissidents in place in every parish and school.

Be men and own up to it.

The Roman Catholic Church ordained and hired dissenters on every level and the situation is catastrophic.

Announcing the fix is in, hiring a man leading a schismatic movement and then claiming he is shocked by the outcome tells us it is the same old show only now at the top.

It gives the appearance the Pope is among those who operate under the old chestnut of passive-aggressive deception. That is bringing a boatload of other problems he didn't expect upon his papacy.

This is the reality which everyone needs to face because it is not going away unless and until he stops the nonsense of appointing dissidents to speak and teach on his behalf.

Throwing abortifacients, immorality and Communion to divorced from the ride on the donkey is doing irreversible damage. The world loves ya baby but Catholics losing the people they love to it, not so much.

Whether you do it, you hire somebody else to do it while you ride the donkey and get off in the public square to kiss their hands - the outcome is coming from you and we all know it.

We are all waiting for the big TADA in October.

If it doesn't lead our families to salvation and redemption, clearly, succinctly and without confusion, sadly, his papacy will not recover from the mistrust he has fostered.

A tragedy really, because I believe he is a faithful man, possibly too entrenched in the diabolical delusion that setting up the sheep to eat the apple is reconciliation with God.

Carol,

In the bibliography of Frances Hogan's new book A Path to Healing the Nation, was a book I kept hearing about, but never got around to read until now. You know it, I'm sure-- Malachi Martin, The Jesuits.

All I can say is .. Now, I get it, now I really understand why we're here. It's made me more dedicated than ever to prayer, fasting and reparation.

Blessings and congratulations on your grandson..He's so handsome! +

Caroline, thanks for congrats!

I know the book The Jesuits. I can never get through books like that because I feel like I've lived it every day for the past 20 years.

It's like reading the painful account of the kidnapping, beatings and abuse of your family and loved ones over and over again - while you still have to live it and try to do something to save people from them. LOL.

I am very curious though, what it is in the book that helps put the picture together?

Carol, you're a better woman than I for getting so much out of the pope's comments. For the life of me, I cannot comprehend that gobblygook.

Not to be dense, but what does, "Setting up the sheep to eat the apple," mean?

I like Malichi Martin's last book - The Windswept House- it is all about satanism infesting the Church.

TTC said...

Dawn, it means an ordained man who lures souls into sin by lying to them through omission and commission and thinks their presence in the pew every week to hear him lie means he has reconciled them to God.

Does that help?

Warm bodies in the pew listening to a dissident priest who never has any intention to free them from sin by telling them right from wrong so they go to confession and are freed from sin and reconciled to Christ. Unless and until they do that, the person is just being stringed along forging a bond to the liar wearing a roman collar.

The Catholic Church is full of them. One has to go to great lengths to find a real shepherd.

It has long been the practice of bishops to passive-aggressively stack his diocese with dissenting priests and materials and pretend what is happening to God's people has nothing to do with him, he is faithful , you see, and he wishes others would follow his example. It is deceptive game that actually even empowered perverts who continuously raped children.

They just can't be a man and own up to what they are doing. Even a fool knows you don't appoint a man leading a schism to give the talking points for a synod on the family. It backfired on him and now he is trying to claim he had nothing to do with the outcome.

Very few faithfully practicing Catholics are willing to sacrifice their children to the schismatics. He is losing the trust and credibility of people in a state of grace.

He better get his act together for the synod because nobody I have spoken to over the past year is in the mood for a big tent synod where dissent is blessed by a pope passive-aggressive

Cardinal Nicols and FIUV are telling a falsehood. Why do rank and file Catholics have to accept it?
Cardinal Vince Nicols the President of the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales (CBCEW) and the officials of the Federation International Una Voce (FIUV) are telling a lie for political or personal reasons. Why do the rank and file Catholics have to accept it ? They have to accept a factual error because they have not learnt theology ?

James Bogle, the President and Joseph Shaw, theTreasurer of the FIUV are British. It is a falsehood for the FIUV and Cardinal Nicols to suggest that there are known, visible- in- the- flesh persons in 2014 , saved with 'a ray of the Truth' (Nostra Aetate 2, Vatican Council II ) and ' seeds of the Word'(Ad Gentes 7).

On the CBCEW website there is a video which states all do not need to convert into the Catholic Church , according to Vatican Council II. No text in Vatican Council II states this !

Joseph Shaw, the Chairman of the Latin Mass Society of England and Wales abets in this falsehood. He is not willing to say that every one needs to convert into the Catholic Church in the present times to avoid Hell and there are no known exceptions. He is a lecturer at Oxford and this would put him at odds with his colleagues and of course the Cardinal-president of the CBCEW.

So like Gavin D'Costa on the CBCEW video, for Joseph Shaw, Vatican Council II, Nostra Aeate 2 refers to the deceased in Heaven, visible on earth. The deceased-saved would have to be visible for them to be exceptions to all needing to convert in 2014.
For political reasons Cardinal Vincent Nicols recently permitted Catholic politicians who support same sex marriages to receive the Eucharist at Holy Mass in England. This is Sacrilegious Communion. He also expects lay Catholics to accept nonsense about the baptism of desire etc being exceptions to the traditional interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus- as if these cases were visible to him on earth to be exceptions. How can they be exceptions to the traditional interpretation of the dogma by Fr.Leonard Feeney of Boston, when we cannot see any of these cases in the flesh ?

According to the CBCEW website Catholics are told to leave this 'theologial issue' to the 'experts' in inter religious dialogue. Gavin D'Costa a Catholic professor of theology at the University of Bristol, who claims he can see the deceased in England, is considered an 'expert'.He is a consultant with the CBCEW.

Traditionalists in England, including Joseph Shaw, who lectures on philosophical and other subjects , are going along with this misinformation.FIUV supports this misinformation about the Catholic Church. Lay Catholics who do not know theology have to swallow this objective error since the cardinal at Westminister wants them to do so. -Lionel Andrades

Carol,

After reading this book, I can totally understand how it would make you feel you were re-living the trauma of the past twenty years.

Martin is so very good at "probing like an unrelenting searchlight" through the history of the 'clandestine politics' of this order who (I was always told) were the 'marines' of all the orders because they were the "Pope's Men."

I didn't know their history as shapers of everything not only of the religious but secular pursuits as well.. from Asia to Africa to Europe and America.

But, he accounts how in a single generation the Society was swamped by a "totally secular purpose transforming the sociopolitical face of the West with the US as it's leader."

And because of their zeal, skills and very strong wills they "waged a war to the death." The target of the war was nothing less than dismantling the Church's hierarchic teaching as known for the last 16 centuries including the papacy. It was and is a war about power and it's no accident.

For me, someone away from the church during these years, when I came back it was analogous to encountering a very sick patient with no idea how, why or what the disease even was and no doctor able to diagnose the condition. Why couldn't I find a faithful parish? Why did I keep running into this modernist twisted up teaching? No one could define the disease for me, not even my church history classes..Until I read this book.

Only now I feel traumatized, too. I never imagined the depth or scope of the disease.

But, I get it now..and hopefully it will help as I continue to pray. Blessings +

Totally off topic: Last night apparently Fr. Unni held a none-too-surprising event. From the Pilot calendar section:

"Lecture, Boston -- Saint Cecilia Parish, 18 Belvidere Street, is presenting a lecture by Father Matt Malone, SJ, editor in chief in chief of America magazine, at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Center. Father Malone's topic will be: "The five words that changed our Church: who am I to judge?" This is a reference to one of the statements made in the past year by Pope Francis. There is no charge for the event."

TTC: Thank you, as always.

In addition: “The road to hell is paved with the skulls of priests and bishops is a quote I hear that St. John Chrysostom has allegedly said. “

“Saint John Eudes tells us: 'The road to hell is paved with the skulls of bishops'. This is a take on Saint Athanasius' original statement: "The floor of hell is covered with the skulls of bishops."

Caroline, thanks for the insightful explanation. It has been some ride and the focus on FFI instead of taking action on the 40 years of insidious demoralization of young Catholics by the Jesuits gives me a special feeling.

Thanks Michael - the quote is so true. One wonders how they can ignore such a scary flare across their bow.
