It turns out Irish Catholic Nuns did not throw 800 children into a septic tank
The story is falling apart.
I knew there was something hokey about the story.
Even if you could believe an entire group of nuns dedicated to helping children were abusive, the body is a temple for an immortal soul. No way they would dump bodies into a septic tank. The body needs to be buried. Even the most disordered Catholics wouldn't dare to disrespect the dead by throwing the victims of their mass murder into a septic tank.
Our friend Pauli has some astute observations about Rod Dreher's rabid coverage of a hoax.
Be sure to check out the entertaining comments.
I keep refreshing my browser for an apology which surely is forthcoming?

Poor Rod. He's annoying but there's something really sad about him.
The thing is, it could have been true. Considering what we know the priests did...
