Synod Day 7: Pope Francis Apostate Coup Releases Midterm Report

The drivel is tough to get through. I have to keep walking away from it.

Generally speaking, it begins with a sob story about how taxes and anthropology are driving people to shack up and homosexual sexual relationships and the church wants to respect the freedom of the people so everyone should start focusing on the good aspects of immorality and licentiousness instead of focusing on the shortcomings of the loss of salvation in the situation.

The Pope's rogue group of luminaries said this is okay, because the truth is found outside of Christ's Church according to folks who went to Vatican II .

I would assume this means when your children tell you they want to move in with their lover, you are now supposed to welcome the "precious support" they give to each other, say the woman is a good cook, and buy them a frying pan.

They said this is what the church should do because this is what a mother would do.

The luminaries continued on, stating cohabitation and sex outside of the Sacraments involves affection and notable stability.

For this reason, what is required is a missionary conversion: it is necessary not to stop at an  that is merely theoretical and has nothing to do with people’s real problems. It must not be forgotten that the crisis of faith has led to a crisis in matrimony and the family and, as a result, the transmission of faith from parents to children has often been interrupted.

Not surprisingly, the entire thesis avoids culpability of the real culprits.

The crisis in teaching the divine purpose of matrimony and the family was interrupted by them.

They robbed our children of the tools for making right judgments. They withheld catechesis that offended the calls their own desires whispered in their hearts. They twisted and perverted minds and then abandoned the Sacrament of Confession.

Now, the fix is in, robbing the children of the tools for salvation and twist and pervert right judgment up some more.  Interrupt the teaching of the Catechism and teach the children the virtues in sleeping around and other  religions.

These talking points were delivered to the eyes and ears of our children from the hand of Pope Francis.

You are not alone in your opposition as Rorate Caeli reports (rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2014/10/pro-life-and-pro-family-group-synod.html):

Pro-Life and Pro-Family Group: Synod Report a “betrayal”. Faithful “morally obliged to oppose course taken within the Synod against natural law”

ROME, 13 October 2014: An international coalition of pro-family groups has rejected the mid-way report of the Extraordinary Synod on the Family, calling it “a betrayal”.

Have they (the synod fathers) created a new gospel in the form of the "gay news"? As Rorate Caeli reports (rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2014/10/first-synod-report-homosexual.html):

First Synod Report creates a New Gospel: Homosexual Orientation must be “valued” by Church; Homosexual Unions “mutual aid that constitute precious support in the life of the partners”

They (not the synod fathers) summarize their version of the gay new in the following doggerel verse:

Gay is good; gay is great;
Gay is better than going straight.

The harsh reality is that these individuals calling for the watering down, softening or whatever other buzzwords they're using to make their case are simply disordered men themselves and they intend to make this precious gift of the Roman Catholic Church in their image not Our Lords. Cardinal Burke, God Bless him, has called for us to pray the chaplet to the Holy Face of Jesus. He is such a gift in all of this horror. Thanks for your reporting and Catholic fellowship...superb job being done here.

Thanks for these links and supportive words.

Honestly, I could never face Christ on my day of judgment and offer my cowardice when the job required really hard.

These men need to know we are not following them and the reasons why.

Christ have the woman at the well all of five minutes before He "gradually" dropped the shoe. He spoke no words to guide her to find virtue in the rolling of thunder under the covers with the man currently sleeping in her bed. She was informed before He finished drinking His water.

This situation is pretty bad.

"Smooth it Away" Shea, the Anchor-less, and the rest of their ilk, will be soon chortling about the glorious "renewal" and "new evangelization" that this apostasy represents.

TTC: As always thank you, along with other blog sites, for reporting what is going on with the Synod.

While reading you blog, I could not but think of the 1930 Anglican Lambeth Conference (see below; via EWTN):

Artificial Contraception: The Very First Step Down the Slippery Slope.

If a single date could be identified as the historical break with traditional Christian and Jewish pro-life values if one desired to highlight the West's very first step down the slippery slope it would be August 14, 1930.

Until this day, all Christian churches were unanimous in their opposition to artificial birth control, notwithstanding the usual small group of loud dissenters.

However, the very critical first crack in the wall happened at the Anglican Bishop's Lambeth Conference of 1930. Just as the 'hard cases' were used to obtain abortion on demand and just as they are now being used to lobby for euthanasia on demand they were used sixty years ago to get artificial birth control.

The historic Anglican Bishop's Resolution 15 of August 15, 1930, passed by a vote of 193 to 67, reads as follows. Those who examine this statement carefully will clearly recognize the familiar semantic tools of the pro-abortion movement. Notice that Resolution 15 sounds smooth, firm, and compassionate. Notice also that it places no real limits on the Christian, but instead leaves any action at all up to him and his conscience.

THE ANGLICAN BISHOP'S RESOLUTION 15 OF AUGUST 15, 1930

Where there is a clearly felt moral obligation to limit or avoid parenthood, the method must be decided on Christian principles. The primary and obvious method is complete abstinence from intercourse (as far as may be necessary) in a life of discipleship and self-control lived in the power of the Holy Spirit. Nevertheless, in those cases where there is such a clearly felt moral obligation to limit or avoid parenthood, and where there is a morally sound reason for avoiding complete abstinence, the Conference agrees that other methods may be used, provided that this is done in the light of the same Christian principles. The Conference records its strong condemnation of the use of any methods of conception-control for motives of selfishness, luxury, or mere convenience.

Notice that the allowable 'methods' are not defined by Resolution 15. Notice also that the term 'Christian principles' is not defined. Using the statement above, abortion and even infanticide could easily be justified if the "conscientious" individual thought that the child would be a burden or an inconvenience in any way.

This is a profound and rapid change from the statements promulgated by the Lambeth Conference as recently as 1908 and 1917, which labeled artificial contraception as "demoralizing to character and hostile to national welfare."

"He "gradually" dropped the shoe....She was informed before He finished drinking His water;"

Unless....you have a modernist Jesuit pastor who will undo the authority of the Scriptures before ever acknowledging that they convict anyone of sin. Sometimes the gospel writers didn't get it right, you know. They had their prejudices; so it takes great modern theologians to properly re- interpret a particular scene in the Bible. They'll be glad to start at the beginning with Genesis...those are only creation myths. And they'll move right along to Sunday's gospel reading about the wedding feast to which we are all invited. But, it's not personal sin that engenders the refusal of some, oh no. Let's not even speak of sin. It's all of our fault that people are not choosing to come to the wedding feast, because we have not been welcoming enough.
The modernist diocese where I live is more than happy and excited about the synod.. because it matches the distortions they have been promoting for years.

Thanks for all you do.
I pray for the strength and graces we all will need in the coming days.
Blessings always+

This document sounds like a sophomore year rap session in my college dorm, and that's being generous. Some of these men in the Vatican are not very bright. I'm tired of being polite. They need to be told straight up that they are dangerous fools and we reject their nonsense. However, it's also clear that many are just pretending to be dim. The church is being willfully undermined from within, and the saboteurs get a lot of cooperation and assistance from the dim witted. What's most galling is how stupid all of them think we are.
