Catholics teachers in Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Boston have been prohibited from teaching moral theology for quite some time now.
About 1/2 dozen lesbians who enrolled children at Catholic schools complained and threatened when moral theology was taught to children of practicing Catholics and that was the end of that. We even had one muslim family at a local school initiate a somewhat successful campaign to eliminate the offensive word "Christmas".
When Bishop Bootkoski placed an award-winning teacher Patricia Jannuzzi on administrative leave for saying (on her private facebook account) that no genetic source has ever been found in the DNA of homosexuals and healthy families with a mother and father is important to humanity, I was surprised by the shockwaves in Christendom.
Bishop Bootkoski issued a statement saying it was inconsistent with Church teaching and placed her on administrative leave and is testing the waters to fire her.
Michael Hitchborn has written an outstanding response in an open letter to Bishop Bootkoski.

Bishop Paul G. Bootkoski will receive the St. John Neumann Award at the 2015 Catholic School Education Dinner April 14 at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick.
The award, which is named for the "Father of the Parochial School System," is given to an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary leadership, commitment and dedication to promoting Catholic school education in the Diocese of Metuchen.
"Bishop Bootkoski has made Catholic schools a priority in the diocese and continues to be a strong proponent," said Msgr. Michael J. Corona, executive director of the diocesan Department of Education. "Our bishop is deserving of this honor, which also is an expression of our gratitude for his ongoing support for the teachers, administrators, and most importantly the children attending our Catholic schools."

We should be outraged by this but not shocked as this is the evidence of the successful infiltration accomplished by the homosexual agenda. Our own Cardinal supports accepting students whose parents flaunt their homosexual lifestyles ...so how is authentic Catholic morality to be taught by the lay teacher without a violent backlash. The effeminate clergy is so overwhelmed by emotions they can't see the bigger picture.....it's the sabotage of Catholic education ....and for all intents and purposes it is accomplished by using the children .....too bad they aren't really as caring of these children as they would like us to believe. Our Church is inverted ...like the rest of society it is standing on its head...there will be many more Mrs Jannuzis to come...this is inevitable and heartbreaking.
The vast majority of catholic schools aren't worth the money. I send my kids to public school, and i tell tehm outright they are being brainwashed. Then I take them to a traditional mass, so tehy don't associate catholicism with brainwashing. This way there is no confusion.
I sent my son to Catholic school when he was a freshman in high school. He got an excellent education on aliens and the rapture.
He returned to public school his sophomore year.

He is a disgrace to the Priesthood of Christ. He needs to step down. I hope he gets millions of emails asking him to do just that.
About thirty years ago, when I used to frequent a certain bar, one of the regular customers got to talking to me. He proceeded to tell me that he had been a priest in the Archdiocese of Newark and then went on to fill me in on all the dirt that was going on within their ranks.
Now, this was the early eighties. I was horrified by what this former priest told me and just put him down as a bitter and cranky ex-priest who had a big ax to grind with the Church. Among the priests he spoke about was the then Fr. Bootkowski. It was only about fifteen years after my encounter with this former priest that I realized he had been telling me no lies.
This news story does not surprise me.
Bishop Bootkinski is also involved with the local Catholic hospital, the local state/secularist university, and the local "gay" community in an "LGBT-affirming" counseling program "to explore ways to help families adjust to the news that their son or daughter is lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender." His Excellency prefaces the hospital's and diocesan participation in the program with the usual neo-Modernist mantra, "Though 'traditional' Catholic teachings have been viewed by some as antithetical to LGBT behavior ..." to set aside doctrine for "pastoral" reasons.

According to this report from 2009, Bootkoski was among the most vigorous bishops in fighting clerical sex abuse:
(Newark Absp. John J.) Myers also has failed to regularly alert parishioners to investigations. Those alerts are now more common nationwide, Reese said. Among the bishops who notify parishioners is Bishop Paul Bootkoski of Metuchen. In 2003, SNAP singled out Bootkoski for praise, calling him the best American bishop at handling abuse allegations and noting that he alone among bishops had named a SNAP member to the diocesan panel that investigates allegations.

This tells me Bootkoski will do anything to curry favor with Rome, whether it's getting "out in front" of clerical sex abuse or aligning himself with Pope "Who Am I To Judge?" Francis.
