Hang up the plaid shirt, sir, and put the Roman Collar back around your neck.

Garbage! Oh how the mighty have fallen. I had a dear friend and spiritual director an Oblate who after serving 20yrs in Haiti was kicked out for not going along with the Bishops new catechism. They sent him to Miami where the same thing happened & he was called into the big office to be reprimanded then exiled to Colebrook NH to chop wood for the "Brothers" in charge there. He refused to be indoctrinated by the mandatory yearly Oblate retreats but was given permission to make his own at St Joseph's in Canada. It was on his way to one of these retreats on an icy road in January he was hit by a double decker garbage truck, Fr. died of head injuries 12 hours later. The Oblates have been brain washing their Priests and Brothers for years, Fr. Ron's article is a perfect example, it's Garbage, and you can take that LITERALLY!
So-- this is an author that is very highly regarded in our diocese here in central Florida.. Typical modernist rambling.. State what the Bible says and then spend the rest of the time undoing it's authority. The overseer of the deacons training here, also loves Richard Rohr and quotes from him often in his homilies. This kind of association leads to teachings like we shouldn't assume Judas is in hell, or who's to say women weren't sitting with the disciples at the table of the Last Supper? We await yet the appointment of a new bishop.. hopefully not one to further the scourge of modernism...hopefully before we have too many more exits to evangelical Protestantism....including myself.

Pretty good God you got there Father. He lets everybody get away with murder with no consequences. So..........who needs Him?
Oh Heavens NO...DON'T put on the Roman collar!..People might actually think he's a priest. How embarrassing for faithful Catholics that would be.
They wear plaid shirts because the Roman collar makes it hard to gaze into their underpants.
