Typical ridiculousness of Catholic Bishops.
Every time this historically-heterodox group of bishops open their mouths, I am astounded by their expertise in deception.
Honestly, the deception is too sophisticated to be of mortal origin.
I'm going to parse this one to show you what I mean:
First, he says something that on face value, appears to be defending the doctrinal faithfulness Amoris Letitia.
Abandoning their previous position that the document is not the cause of confusion and mortal sin, they now admit it is being misinterpreted and have a new explanation:
American Cardinal Blase Cupich has interpreted Pope Francis’ controversial Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia as a call for Catholics to graduate from “an adolescent spirituality into an adult spirituality” where they will be able to use their “freedom of conscience” to “discern truth” in their life.
“What it [Amoris Laetitia] does is it really asked people to have an adult spirituality,” Cupich, the Archbishop of Chicago
Setting aside the fact that highly trained Catholic theologians can't crack the code so they have intentionally left our children to be carried off by vultures who sow confusion, Cupich is trying to say that after 50 years of ordaining heretics who deprived the faithful of solid catechesis, they authored a document that requires the intellect of a rocket scientist to understand and follow its faithful guidance.
For Catholics in good faith, this should mean in writing the document it was their intention to steer Catholics away from breaking Commandments. But as you will see, he explains they intended the complete opposite.
Cupich explained to Rosica that an adult spirituality means “being able to, in some way, realize that you have the grace by God to discern truth in your life in terms of where the Lord is calling you to the next step. It does put the responsibility on each individual, rather than an outside authority telling people what to do, as though they were children.”
“What the Holy Father is calling us to, what the Church is calling us to now, is to be able to take responsibility for our lives. And that means making sure that people understand the freedom of consciences but also the responsibility that goes with it. So, this really, I think, is a movement to moving out of an adolescent spirituality into an adult spirituality. That’s a big significance, and it’s been going on since the Second Vatican Council,” he added.
After 50 years of teaching heresy, there must be 'some way' to find the 'grace' to be big boys and girls and stop using the guidance of the outside authority of the Catechesis of the Catholic Church.
Church teaching was for babies. We're all growed up!
The Holy Father is now calling the Church to find freedom in the consciences formed with contradictions and heresies they have laid since the Second Vatican Council. Instead of Church teaching.
How flattering! How empowering! How absolutely thrilling! The Church is subordinate to the effects of heresy, sin and concupiscience!
We don't need a savoir. We're it!
When you cut to the chase, the reality of what Cupich is saying is the document was intended to sever the Mystical Body of Christ from the judgment of our people.
This interview illustrates the highest level of lies and deception that can only come from two sources. Well thought-out chatter of uncatechized individuals who are very, very smart or the devil.
All I have to say is, Cardinal Cupich is neither uncatechized or smart.
