Fred Thompson put it well - those who have put Palin through the wringer, trying to make her look like a buffoon, attacking her family, she brought them to shame.

Pointing out Biden and Obama are waving the white flag of surrender in Iraq was a home run.

She handled the bait on affirming the right for two people to receive benefits and make contracts and yet defending our right to evangelize in the public square was handled tactfully and assertively.

Her policies on energy, defending our sovereignty, economics - she held her own.

Guiliani's post mortem, he said her tact in regurgitating Joe Biden's own words condemning Obama and then saying she respected him for it, were brilliant!

Sara Palin's Letter to Editor re: Pledge of Allegiance

“Dear Editor,” Palin wrote in 2002. “San Francisco judges forbidding our Pledge of Allegiance? They will take the phrase ‘under God’ away from me when my cold, dead lips can no longer utter those words,” Palin wrote.
