I have no idea what is happening in Egypt....

..but it looks scary. (I have been too distracted with you know what)

What are they all mad about?

Is it class wars?

Thanks to readers who called my attention to this great piece from Mark Mallet. [Yes Jerry, I do think he's a pretty spiritually astute guy so go right ahead and make fun of me :O)]

ADDENDUM - adding final paragraph of Mallet's article...

When the Apostles asked the Savior why they had been unable to drive the evil spirit from a demoniac, Our Lord answered: "This kind is not cast out but by prayer and fasting." So, too, the evil which today torments humanity can be conquered only by a world-wide crusade of prayer and penance. We ask especially the Contemplative Orders, men and women, to redouble their prayers and sacrifices to obtain from heaven efficacious aid for the Church in the present struggle. Let them implore also the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Virgin who, having crushed the head of the serpent of old, remains the sure protectress and invincible "Help of Christians." —POPE PIUS XI, Encyclical Letter on Atheistic Communism, March 19th, 1937

Interesting to see prophesy unfold..
Veronica - I see now a map and I'm looking upon the countries that look like desert. I don't recognize them. And I see pyramids that I know is Egypt. Egypt, yes. And I see people dressed in long garments with covers over their heads and hands. They're like from the desert country. And they now are running forward. They're gathering guns from large crates and some are carrying sticks. Thousands and thousands of people are running forward. I see horses now galloping from behind. And now it's growing dark and there's another side of the map showing. I recognize—it's an Oriental country. The people look like Chinese. They also are gathering in thousands and I see, though the people look very poor and most are walking without shoes, I see now to the left of them large, thousands and thousands of people dressed in uniforms. They're a green - brown uniform. I can see the colors. And they have a red star on them. I see on their armbands a red star. And they have cap hats that are like a hunting hat with its peak, but there's a red star on the hat.
Now I can hear the noise of like, gunfire. It's like great cannons or—oh, the noise sounds so horrible, because I can hear the voices of people screaming. - May 30, 1974

Veronica - . . . Our Lady now is looking down sadly. And I see She's pointing now to what looks like a map. Oh, my!
Now as I am watching—it's a map of... oh, I can see Jerusalem, and Egypt, Arabia, French Morocco, Africa. Oh, my goodness! There seems to be a very dense darkness now settling upon those countries. Oh, my!
And Our Lady is saying:
Our Lady - "The start of the Third World War, My child." - March 29, 1975

I didn't say it!

Anonymous said... reports on January 31, 2011 Muslim Brotherhood leader says: Prepare for war with Israel
Remember that Obama went out of his way to invite Muslim Brotherhood representatives to his speech in Cairo in June 2009. So it is unlikely that he even sees the need to stand up to them. "Muslim Brotherhood Wants War With Israel," from Forex Crunch, January 31 (thanks to Pamela Geller): Mohamed Ghanem, one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, calls Egypt to stop pumping gas to Israel and prepare the Egyptian army for a war with it's [sic] eastern neighbor.
Speaking with Iranian television station Al-Alam, Mohamed Ghanem blamed Israel for supporting Hosni Mubarak's regime. Ghanem also said that the Egyptian police and army won't be able to stop the Muslim Brotherhood movement....

And when you shall hear of wars, and rumours of wars, fear ye not: for such things must needs be: but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be earthquakes in places, and famines. These are the beginning of sorrows. St. Mark 13:7-8

Well, dear me, at first I thought Anonymous was directing his/her post to me. How nice, I thought. And then, it dawned on is Veronica Leuken speaking!

Even a broken clock is right twice a day!

I just hear on cnn that 50 percent of men and 90 percent of college graduates are unemployed within two years in Egypt. 35 million people live on less than two dollars a day.

We are sitting ducks if something breaks out while the king of cowardice and treason sits in the white house. Keep tabs on it and let me know when to buy the ramen noodles. Please.

Terry, Thanks for setting the record straight on Bayside.

In terms of apparitions, I respect the guidance of the Church. Contraception was a big struggle. This one was a cinch for me!!

You're welcome - I have to link nonetheless. LOL!

Oh dear...I hate Ramen noodles..I think I'll do peanut butter.

Very encouraging video from Michael V on, "The Gates of Hell." I think this is the word to focus on as the battle around us continues to rage from all fronts. He reminds us that:
-hell is the kingdom under siege from the church.
-Jesus engaged the battle at the Last Supper and Satan's defeat is a done deal.

"now the prince of this world is cast out."

-The victory is secured,we have mop up duty.

The lions are roaring around us, but it made me think of Saint Blase fleeing persecution to the back country and being found in solitude and prayer surrounded by wild beasts.

He ends by saying wait till we see the spoils from this battle.

I think it's a song from my Protestant days, but I'm gonna sing it anyways today...

Oh Victory in Jesus
