Blaming the guns.

The more I think about it, maybe it is by God's grace the moonbats are blaming the guns.  I am really afraid that if they ever discover the problem is mentally ill people, they will begin exterminating them.

Many of the moonbats themselves are mentally ill, or they instinctively know their embrace of the culture of death makes them at least in part morally culpable for this murderous atmosphere. Thus they'll grasp at anything to deflect attention from themselves - OR - to advance the culture of death. Ironically, I do believe that the disarmament of good people is part and parcel of the culture of death. And I hope some of the USCCB types are reading this!

I'm with you sister.

There's something seriously wrong in the hatrack of people who are blaming guns.

Booze and cigarettes kill hundreds of thousands of people every day - including killing innocent people by way of second hand smoke and drunk drivers.

How about we outlaw those?

The Left and their gun control fetish--so predicable. Another attempted power grab. The gun owners won't standby in passive mode. BHO/Harry Reid are already signalling that it's a fight they don't really want to follow through on. BHO has already called for a commission to study "the problem"---translation, there won't be any meaningful legislation but we need to play up to our Leftist base.

Another interesting sidebar: The NRA reports that they are receiving 8000 applications for new members per day since the Left and the media began their anti-gun jihad. Also, BHO has proven to be the most effective gun salesman in history. Gun sales have soared since this tin horn took office.

The dangerous among the mentally ill will always have a chance to get hold of a weapon. Instead of restricting the rights of law abiding citizens to possess firearms, what we need is better ways of dealing with these people who are prone to extreme violence because of their illnesses.

This is a mental illness issue not a gun issue. It's up to the owner the of guns to keep them secure, I don't think that mother did and she khew her son was unstable.

Merry Christmas Carol to you and your family, and also to the other friends who frequentb Carol's blog. I've been stuck in South Korea for the past month!
