Vatican Damage Control
If he keeps on going, it might just be the largest staff office in the Holy See.
It certainly is a gift that keeps on giving.
Take Cardinal O'Malley for instance.
The article points out that in the past, episcopal leaders used to lobby against the demoralization and abuse of women and the murder of children, but Cardinal O'Malley is going to meet with government officials who do these things to women and children, serve them donuts and tell them Pope Francis strategy is to ignore the substance of the salvation of souls and become a cash cow.
As a woman and a mother, the cowardice and dereliction of duty turns my stomach.

This is the same thing that Law, Meideiros, Mahony, Spellman, et al have done: try to ingratiate themselves to the powers-that-be. One can't be a moral conscience if one depends on political figures for prestige. Sadly, this is par-for-the course.
