I think he's talking about my comment I made over there, he deleted it anyways.

They can start with Shea. And then look in the mirror.

Steve, I avoid Patheos like a countertop loaded with salmonella, but the stuff Fr. Longenecker posts on Facebook doesn't seem anywhere near as twisted as Shea, Fisher and Scalia, though I do remember a few instances where he defended the skullsuggery.

This piece is kinda deceptive in that he complete ignores the angry rants of his colleagues at Patheos and the concerns in Christendom about it but makes a big deal out of the com box. Honesty is hard to come by these days. It is getting as obscure as courage and sanity.

Is Longenecker serious?! A lot of the "angry" comments in the comboxes are due to the asinine statements that morons like Fisher, Shea, Scalia, and himself make. These folks deliberately go out of their way to provoke extreme pro or con feedback from their readers. If he wants to cut down on these kind of comments, he, and his buddies, need only to start with themselves in avoiding the inflammatory junk they post themselves.

The real answer is not to read Patheos, for in so doing we are literally feeding the pigs.
