The Problem with Pope Francis

I did not closely follow Pope Francis buffoonery on the climate, but I did catch a few things said this week.

Pope Francis claimed that man is responsible for global warming.

Really? Then who was around to cause the great glacial meltdown 7,000 years ago?

The stone-age guy who lost this knife and a pair of mittens?

Doesn't the story of Noah's Ark reveal that God is the power behind the forces of nature that wipe the entirety of the earth to start again? Did Noah cause the great flood when he hammered planks together to build a boat?

Was it the green alligators and long-necked geese, the humpty-back camels and the chimpanzees?

Did the burning sulfur rain down on Sodom and Gommorah because people were not controlling the population?

The bankruptcy of common sense is not as mysterious as the role Pope Francis is playing as a holy scientist while his people are starving to death from the obstruction of sanctifying grace.

He is like a father who leaves the house every day and walks about town advising people about botany, bees and butterflies, instead of instructing and caring for his own children or going to work to bring home cash to feed, house and clothe his family.

The pagan and heretical nonsense Pope Francis is hosting at the Holy See is beyond scandalous.

While the Pope is using his energy to develop wild theories on global warming, his own dicastries are shilling for population control.

Population control is the antithesis of the Magnificat.

Population control is the unwillingness to be open to life.

Are people the cause of the destruction of their cities and towns?

In some ways yes, because unrepentant sin and godlessness of civilization is the reason God takes the drastic action of permitting or willing destruction.

Consequently, the Pope's gathering of the people of God in Vatican City to tell them the solution is birth control, it is actually paradoxical to the salvation of the earth and the immortal souls of its inhabitants.

Vatican City is giving out advice that is antithetical to salvation. I am loathe to even think about he implications of this mess, much less articulate them.

What I can say is I am sick of it.

I read a quote yesterday that said something like It's not that people don't know the solution, they don't even know the problem.

One of the things Chris Ferrara says in his Fatima Perspectives series is, there are so many scandals coming out of the Pope Francis Administration, one can hardly keep up with them.

True that.

NowTheEndBegins.org reported on April 29, 2015:

THE VATICAN AND THE UNITED NATIONS TEAMED UP TO WARN THE WORLD OF THE EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE ON TUESDAY, COMING DOWN FIRMLY AGAINST SKEPTICS WHO DENY HUMAN ACTIVITIES HELP CHANGE GLOBAL WEATHER PATTERNS.

“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” Revelation 17:5

From a spiritual and prophetic perspective, things are starting to get weird with Pope Francis. Very weird. Revelation 17 and 18 says that, in the last days, the Catholic Church once again becomes a world political power, just like the Rome of old. This is why we see the pope, who is a religious figure, suddenly getting very involved with movements and causes as a political figure. Francis has no problem using his global influence over 1.2 billion Catholics to get them to believe that man-made climate change is not only a real thing, but that if they don’t support it they are somehow out of the will of God. In essence, Pope Francis is declaring a jihad against any and all people who would dare say that man-made climate change is false, and using religion to do it. Francis is starting to understand who he is now, and the role he was born to play. The False Prophet.

Here is the permanent “climate change” that God is planning on performing:

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 2 peter 3:10

Talk about your global warming. Ahh…if only Pope Francis believed the Bible.

Vatican City – U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon discussed climate change with the popebefore opening a one-day conference of scientists and religious leaders called “The Moral Dimensions of Climate Change and Sustainable Development“. The pope, who is due to make a major address on sustainable development at the United Nations in September, has said he believes man is primarily responsible for climate change and is writing an encyclical on the environment.

The gathering’s joint declaration said “human-induced climate change is a scientific reality, and its decisive control is a moral imperative for all of humanity”. Ban said he and the pope discussed Francis’ keenly awaited encyclical, which is expected to address the issue of man’s responsibility for climate change.

You are kidding about Noah right.
You know it's story like a parable, not literally true.

You've seen the parking lots and strip malls from sea to shining sea?
They weren't there 200 yrs ago.

Even if we are a doubting Thomas, it really doesn't matter does it?

The Bible is not the National Enquirer. The parables in the Bible are there for a purpose.

Christ spoke in parables all the time and explained their purpose. It teaches theology to the village idiots.

The story of Noah's Ark teaches theology.

One would think with the education they have at the Holy See, they would at least understand the parables!!!

Noah's Ark
Question from Doreen Zilligen on 3/6/2002:
Did Noah's Ark really happen the way the Bible says? Where can I find more information on this? Has there been searches done? Any information would be helpful. I believe it happened the way it says in the Bible but my husband does not.

Answer by Fr. John Echert on 3/12/2002:
Though it has been popular in some circles to doubt the historicity of the account of the Flood in the time of Noah, I personally accept this as an historical reality. One argument which has been attempted against its historicity has been that there are ancient accounts of floods to be found among other peoples; however, rather than discounting the reality of the Flood I view this as corroborative. In other words, the presence of multiple accounts of some incredible flood in ancient times would argue in favor of such an occurrence, rather than assume they all borrow upon each other.

One thing I look to in affirming the historical existence of figures of the ancient past is to look to the New Testament wherein many of the ancient figures and episodes are affirmed by Jesus and various sacred writers. This, in itself, lends great credibility to the historicity of the matter. For instance, regarding Noah, I note eight references in the NT, such as follows:

Matt 24:37 As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man. Matt 24:38 marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the Luke 3:36 Noah, the son of Lamech, Luke 17:26 As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Luke 17:27 the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, 1Pet 3:20 Noah, during the building of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight 2Pet 2:5 if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of If Jesus believed in Noah and the ark, that is good enough for me.

As to whether or not we must affirm that the flood encompassed the entire orb of the earth, the text would seem to teach this and subsequent texts would tend to corroborate this, but there is some flexibility with regards to the first eleven chapters of the Book of Genesis, as expressed in the encyclical “Humani Generis” of Pope Pius XII:

“..the first eleven chapter of Genesis...nevertheless come under the heading of history; in what exact sense, it is for the further study of the exegete to determine. These chapters have a naïve, symbolic way of speaking, well suited to the understanding of primitive people. But they do disclose to us certain important truths, upon which the attainment of our eternal salvation depends, and they do also give a popular description of the origin of the human race and of the chosen people. It may be true that the ancient authors of sacred history drew some of their material from current popular stories. So much may be granted. But it must be remembered that they did so under the impulse of divine inspiration which preserved them from all error in selecting and assessing the material they used….“these excerpts from current stories, which are found in the sacred books, must not be put on a level with mere myths, or with legend in general…In the OT a love of truth and a cult of simplicity shine out in such a way as to put these writers on a distinctly different level from their profane contemporaries.”

Even while acknowledging some latitude in these early chapters, it appears that science is increasingly able to corroborate what we have held in faith based upon biblical texts, including bases for such matters as an ancient deluge, genetic linking back to one mother and possible on father, and the possibility of extended life-spans prior to the deluge. ©

Thanks, Doreen, and at present I do not have a particular work to recommend.

Good job Carol. Glad you are mending. Only wish Pope Francis would mend his ways. He appears to have forsaken the 'City of God' for the 'City of Man' and how unfortunate this is at a time when the forces of darkness are in the ascendancy.

I believe that the Vatican's grasping on the hoax of climate change is their method of entering the world of politics as climate change is essentially part the new global ecological religion which will usher in a new age of totalitarian control.

All of this belief in the ascendancy of man by Pope Francis and others in the Church, I think, can be attributed to a profound lack of faith in Jesus Christ and His mission. Pope Francis figures he has a better plan. He is in for a shock. Let us pray he comes to his senses soon.

It seems that the self proclaimed 'neuroses' and 'nervous condition' of the Pope may be worse than generally thought. At least we might have a clue to a piece of the puzzle that I admit to being suspect from the beginning. More than once at the beginning of his Papacy I voiced concern for his 'medical/mental health until it was actually confirmed by the Pope himself. And not that knowing this fact changes the deplorable state of the Church he has helped to foster at an accelerated rate. It may or may not make him less culpable for the destruction depending on the severity of his condition, but one thing is for sure, Francis has caused a great deal of chaos in the Church of Christ with his schizophrenic like pronouncements that are now coming fast and furious. Chris Ferrara is correct.....hard to keep up with it.

the three most dangerous words: Pope Francis says...

Man made global warming is impossible thanks to both common sense, and the first law of thermodynamics.

The total energy within a system can be transferred between forms, but can't change. It's uber stupidity to think that man has anything to do with the total energy of the earth.

Science proved that the Earth should have cooled to a solid core long ago but it is still hot and molten. so they guess that radioactivity keeps the earth warm inside somehow. But I say that what keeps the earth from cooling is that HELL is down there. And the fires are getting hotter because all these apostates are dying off and feeding the hell fires.

"One would think with the education they have at the Holy See, they would at least understand the parables!!!"

Carol, who says that those men are educated in the way God intended?

"From a spiritual and prophetic perspective, things are starting to get weird with Pope Francis."

It's certainly weird when Pope Francis chooses to spend more intellectual and moral energy on climate change than on persecuted Christians!

"Francis is starting to understand who he is now, and the role he was born to play. The False Prophet."

If Francis is the False Prophet (as opposed to just one of many), I sincerely doubt he would recognize that role. Most false prophets appear to be very sincere; many, probably, believe fully that their views reflect God's will.

This just in from Patrick Archbold's blog:

Do we suggest that if there is one faithful Christian living in a cave in Siberia, that is enough to fulfill Our Lord's promise that the gates of hell have not prevailed against the Church? I don't think so.

Actually, I think we are perilously close, in human terms, to the gates of hell prevailing. If the hierarchy of the Church, from top to bottom, acts and teaches in a way contrary to the faith, in my mind the gates of hell have prevailed. But God keeps his promises, that is why I think we are reaching the end of this trial, for it to continue as it is, the gates of hell will soon prevail. Since that can't happen, do the math...tick tick tick.

Interesting idea from one of these hidden Anonymous folks below. Pretty funny too. If this hidden person is right earth should be as hot as hell right now and much worse around the equator. Since this is not the case we must conclude Apostates go to heaven or their soul is obliterated as our dear Pope says.
Anyway, thanks for the levity.
