Media Alert: Pope Francis arresting whistleblowers, not corrupt criminals

The speed with which whistleblowers were investigated and arrested contrasts with the glacial pace at which Vatican reforms take place and the mild punishments meted out to those accused of economic irresponsibility. The incident seems to suggest a pattern in which the church is more interested in punishing those who breach confidentiality than those who are financially corrupt.

You don't say!

I wanted to point out the something in this story.

Look at how the Holy Father's self-aggrandizing is portraying faithful Catholics as enemies of Christ's Church.

What nerve we have taking an adverse position to having our children brainwashed and demoralized.

I know this is off topic. By can anybody tell me why we don't have Catholic street preachers? Last weekend I witnessed some of them get verbally abused pretty bad in the unholy city of Salem MA.

Strikes me that the Pope's behavior is self destructive, even suicidal. Are not the faithful Catholics he is after the very ones who contribute most of the money? Personally, I've cut back my Church contributions 75% and give the money to bloggers, like The Tenth Crusade, who actually are helping God by spreading and defending the Truth.

I believe they are not whistleblowers. I believe that the information that leaked will benefit Francis' image.

In Hollywood, stars "date" and cheat on their partners just before their own movie is about to be released....it's all for publicity purposes.

What's leaked in the new book is that Francis is suspicious of expenditures of unknown origin, an he'll be seen as a honest man trying to purge the Vatican, blah blah ...publicity.

He's a sneaky guy. This is why he hates "gossip." It exposes what he wants to do.

The Leftist media reports on Bergoglio and Hillary Rotten Clinton in an identical manner.

This Papacy is tawdry, nasty and smutty. If the Pope wanted to improve admin at the Vatican he could have employed staff where it counts, ie, processing annulments so they're quicker for the laity'us benefit instead of that divorce document. He's whinging about Vatican finances, so-called millions for canonisations, but hires out the Sistine Chapel to Porsche and that woman Chaqui (spelling?) organises rooftop buffets for toffs, not to mention Justin Bieber kicking a ball about the Vatican....

And let's not forget how the laity are paying for the Pope's accommodation in a hotel. Perhaps he'd like to look at how he's spending money.

I am doing the same as you are Michael. Cutting WAY BACK and some Sundays not giving ANYTHING to the Church of 'Anything Goes' but giving to faithful bloggers and faithful Parishes.

And....Anonymous, Cdl Pell will of course be thrown under the bus. The Pope will be portrayed as 'humble' and trying to put the kibosh on 'corruption', and PELL will be carted off to somewhere like 'Malta'.

It's no wonder as they have much in common, i.e., corrupt and self-aggrandizing, just like the media itself.
