Catholic News Alert from Nancy Pelosi

Catholic archdioceses suing the Obama Administration were not speaking for the Catholic Church.

“Well, I don’t think that’s the entire Catholic Church,” Pelosi responded.

“Those people have a right to sue, but I don’t think they’re speaking ex cathedra for the Catholic Church.

“And there are people in the Catholic Church, including some of the bishops, who have suggested that some of this may be premature,” Pelosi said.
Nanc has tied her wagon to one Bishop and the people in the comments section of America Magazine.

Proving once again...you are what you read. :)

Interesting though, when CNS asked her to answer a question about Church teaching, she didn't do it. Peculiar answer, eh? She evidently believes we are only accountable for conduct on Sunday's inside of Church. Anything reprehensible we say and do outside of Church doesn't count.

Gee. Wouldn't that be something.

Wow - John Boehner is Impressive!

As we all know, before Broom Hilda conceded the power of the gavel to John Boehner today, she hogged the limelight for ten minutes for a swan song.    Marking the occasion with symbolism, she ginned up quite a whopper for her final press conference:  "At her final press conference as House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said, "Deficit reduction has been a high priority for us. It is our mantra, pay-as-you-go."

Is that not unbelievable?   She also said she would continue working for the 'middle class'.   As far as I'm concerned, the only thing she's ever done for the 'middle class' is worked to siphon more money out of our pay checks and cut services we're entitled to to give free stuff to people who were too lazy  and addicted to pull themselves up by their bootstraps to earn them.

Who are we to look a gifthorse in the mouth, but...are there really 175 dems that are so afraid of her that they really voted for the woman who torpedoed in two years what it took the democrats 12 years to build?

Today was a day marked with faith, prayer, humility and hope.  I haven't paid much attention to John Boehner's career but from what I've seen of him these last few weeks, I really like him.

"In the Catholic faith, we enter into a season of service by having ashes marked on our head," Boehner said in his remarks. "The ashes remind us that life in all of its forms is very fragile, our time on this Earth fleeting. But as the ashes are delivered, we hear those humbling words: Remember, you are dust and to dust you shall return.  "The American people have humbled us. . . . They've reminded us that everything here is on loan from them. That includes this gavel, which I accept cheerfully and gratefully, knowing that I am but its caretaker."

It's going to be an interesting few years.  Buckle up.    :O)

Karl Rove on Pelosi Pallooza - "What's Next?"

Good reflection from Rove in the Washington Post.

Pelosi is a damaged, deeply polarizing figure whose retention as House leader will guarantee continued difficulties for those Democrats who had rough races in red districts Tuesday and those Democrats whose seats will tilt more red because of redistricting next year.
The soon-to-be former speaker will also feed President Obama's worst instincts. She shares the White House view that Tuesday was the result of inadequate communications, insufficiently liberal initiatives and not curt enough dismissal of Republicans. These got Democrats into their electoral pickle: Pelosi's continuation will only make conditions worse in the House.

Pelosi yesterday circulated a letter asking for unity, saying she's gratified for all the 'support' she's getting in her quest to become the minority leader.

She's painting herself as an 'effective' tool that was taken down, which is true.  Weak men are afraid of her and the DNC is chock full of sissified men.

What Pelosi doesn't get is that she has been overthrown because the people don't wan't the legislation she is shoving down the throats of our country.  Even sissified men at the DNC surely realize the worst thing they could do if they want any political power to survive for Democrats in the 2012 election, is to put the lightening rod back as the face of their gig.

Politically, when your mission takes a unified blow, the trick is to survive independently and rebuild from the bottom up, under the radar.   This is political science 101.

Tying the witch to the taffrail screaming full speed ahead would give conservatives a gold mine of political acumen to launch 2012 initiatives.

The RNC hung this sign over their building yesterday:

Eric Cantor is already on it.

A Republican leader says that if Democrats keep Rep. Nancy Pelosi as their party chief in the House, then "it's almost as if they didn't get the message."
Virginia Rep. Eric Cantor, who's in line to be the No. 2 House Republican, says GOP lawmakers aren't willing to work with President Barack Obama on what Cantor calls an "expansive, liberal agenda" the White House has pushed for two years.

Imagine what two more years of Pelosi pushing the sissies to do what they know the people don't want will do to the Democratic party?

This is all too good to be true.

BTW, if you haven't seen what the President had to say about it, it's here.

White House aides signaled late Friday that President Obama expects Pelosi will win her bid for House minority leader and he's looking forward to working with her if she does winFinally, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs broke the public silence aboard Air Force One on the way to India for the start of the president's 10-day trip to Asia...
In a sign of just how tricky this subject is for the president right now, White House aides were in radio silence mode in the immediate aftermath of Pelosi's announcement that after losing the House majority she has decided to stay in Congress and run for minority leader instead of bolting the chamber altogether.
"The White House does not comment or get involved in leadership elections," Gibbs told reporters. "But as the president has said before, he appreciates the work of the speaker and the entire House Democratic leadership team, who have been great partners in moving the country forward. He looks forward to working with them in the years to come."

Obama insincere.  But which Obama is he?  Obama contrite, who wants to set a new tone or Obama who appreciates Pelosi's tone and leadership?

I'm looking forward to 60 Minutes.

Pelosi Pallooza and The Perfect Storm

One of the things seasoned Catholic activists and leaders do who have interests in seeing public policy shaped ethically and morally is 'think like' your opponents and make some projections about their game plan so you can get ahead of it with your own game plan.

Catholic Voters and our allies in the Tea Party have a bit of a Perfect Storm.

Let's put the past into perspective for a moment.

Catholics don't really have allies in either party.  The Catholic Vote is a force of its own that was once used by the Democratic party and then used by the Republican party.  We are now disengaged from both and like the Tea Party, or with them, we wait for the signals on which party is going to front the candidate we will get on board with.  We have some pockets of Catholic activists who are still holding into the machine that wants to churn out the vote inferior better of the two proabort candidates.  As the 2008 election demonstrated, these are in the minority now.

In 2008, the power of the vote (on both sides of political philosophy) has shifted from 'who has the money to front the candidates' to grassroots voters on the ground.

The Democrats felt that pulse ahead of the Republicans, tapped into it and used it well in 2008.   The Republicans don't know what to do because they don't know how to manipulate people in this shift while still fronting candidates who are going to, above all else, take care of their portfolios on Wall Street.  (For the record, I am a fan of taking care of portfolios on Wall Street because those people employ us but I draw the line when that candidate wants the government and the culture to sponsor murdering infants as the fix for irresponsible men and keeping the children of our poor from costing us money.)

The Tea Party is in the driver's seat and both the Democrats and the Republicans have a small window of opportunity to redeem themselves.

Let's look at the status of the Democrats first because it's fun (and easier to predict):

Obama has been tarred and feathered.

Can they re-invent him to redeem him for the 2012 election or do they politely ask him to recuse himself for the good of the country and pick out a moderate to run for the White House?

If they choose to redeem him, somebody else has to go under the bus. I presumed it would be Pelosi.

When I read yesterday that Pelosi announced she's running for minority leader, I thought, "Wow, this is awesome.  Not only is she making clear she won't go under the bus, she's leading a chaotic revolt within as they try to move to the center to salvage the White House."

My intuition tells me,the Democrats at the highest levels are huddling to plot what they'll do with the drunken sailor earl-aye in the morning.  Soon, we will hear "man overboard" as she floats gently down the Potomac with her limbs flailing and her tongue uttering curses.

The Republicans are a little more savvy.  They can see that the country has elected politicians whose moral and ethical philosophies are very conservative.  They are too wounded about their political power being swept away from them to accept Sarah Palin's role as an agitator and use it to their advantage. (I love Sarah, I think she is doing a fantastic job in the role of an agitator. I don't think it is a winning strategy to pick her as one of our horses for the role of POTUS.)

Do they get on board what is essentially the religious right (whom they really don't take a shine to) or will the Romneybots convince them to pick a high-heeled, well-groomed wealthy proabort and teach him how to be deceitful about his convictions in the public square?

Or, do they front their money behind a sagacious pool of candidates with conviction of the heart on our issues?

Frankly, I can't get a read on it.

There is as much internal chaos internally in the Republican machine as there is in the Democrat machine.

It is a perfect storm.

I think it is up in the air and political conservative prolifers have a small window of opportunity to hand them the rules to our game plan in one hand and a broken bottle with their other,  and offer them our best wishes on deciding what they'd like to use for their fannies in 2012.

Let's send the flares across their bows and hope for the best and we'll see where we are in a couple of months.

Them good old boys were drinking whiskey and wine singing this will be the day that it dies.

Pelosi Says Abortion is in Keeping with the Word Made Flesh?

Wouldn't answer whether Christ Had the Right to Life.

Nancy Pelosi further ditched her Catholic credentials again as she was unable to answer a reporter's question about whether Jesus Christ should have had his right to life protected from conception.

Earlier this year, Pelosi said she has an obligation to pursue public policy “in keeping with the values” of Jesus. Yet, asked by a CNS News reporter late last week whether Jesus has the right to life, Pelosi couldn't agree.

At her July 29 press briefing, CNSNews asked: “You said at a recent Catholic Community Conference that your favorite word was ‘The Word, as in the word made flesh,’ and that we need to quote, ‘give voice to what that means in terms of public policy that would be in keeping with the Word.’"

The reporter continued: "So, when was the Word made flesh? Was it at the Annunciation, when Jesus was conceived by the power of the Holy Sprit, as the Creed says, or was it at the Nativity when he was born of the Virgin Mary? And when did the Word get the right to life?”

“Whenever it was, we bow our heads when we talk about it in church, and that’s where I'd like to talk about that," Pelosi said in response.

The Annunciation is the teaching of the Church that makes it intellectually impossible not to understand that a human being is created by God prior to conception and a woman is asked to receive this life, to bring the life into the world under every circumstance. Even if you are a young, single woman. Everyone has the right to say 'no' to God but Catholics have the duty not to keep the knowledge to themselves while exploiting other women with falsehoods and lies about what is going on when she finds herself unexpectedly pregnant.

After a good days work of exploiting women and children, Nancy Pelosi runs to Church to bow her head--a gesture that is meant to imply one is subservient to God in the Truths we profess in the Creed.

Sacremental Grace keeps you anchored to reality. When you don't posses It, you are too blind to recognize the double life you are living.

The Selling of Our Nation into the Slavery of Sin and Poverty

The next 24 hours are "armageddon" because the health care bill proposed by Democrats will "ruin our country," House Minority Leader John Boehner said Saturday, a day before a crucial vote on the bill in the House.
Obama accused the Republicans of not wanting the bill to pass because it will prove how innocuous the government takeover of medicine was all along.

We're on the cliff.

The USCCB circulated a letter to lawmakers last night, telling them to vote "no" if fixes aren't made to the bill.

"The Senate bill extends abortion coverage, allows federal funds to pay for elective abortions (for example, through a new appropriation for services at Community Health Centers that bypasses the Hyde amendment), and denies adequate conscience protection to individuals and institutions," the letters states in explaining the reasons for the bishops' opposition.

I don't mean to undermine the effort because at least they did something but this is the moment to grab your testosterone by the bootstraps and man up.

The letter should have said this is the line in the sand and Catholic Hospitals will be shutting down as soon as we can transfer patients to secular hospitals if this bill passes; that this bill threatens takes away life-giving medical treatment to seniors and the poorest of the poor; the effective elimination of trickle up poverty and eradication of the middle class is such a threat to the sanctity and dignity of human life that anyone who votes "yes" will be publicly excommunicated on Monday.

I am really sick to death of wimpy "letters" from prelates about the raping and killing of our children at the hands of sociopaths and selfish narcissists.

They don't fool those of us on the ground in hand-to-hand battles. The dozen or so of us here in Boston who worked tirelessly to stop Cardinal O'Malley from making money for his hospitals by signing abortion contracts saw exactly how "sorry" the Bishops, Cardinals and prelates are all the way to the top. They are not sorry enough to take the murdering of children for money seriously. They simply permitted the Cardinal to cover up what is really going on by rearranging Partnership and Operating Agreements and providing the media with falsehoods that he ended the arrangement. It was a lie and is a lie that is being covered up by the American Bishops and the highest levels at the Vatican.

Further, these Bishops used the opportunity to break the backs of the American workforce buckling with trying to stretch our dollar to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table to provide for illegal aliens in the bill:

"The Senate bill would not only continue current law that denies legal immigrants access to Medicaid for five years, but also prohibit undocumented immigrants from buying insurance for their families in the exchanges using their own money," the letter adds. "These provisions could leave immigrants and their families worse off, and also hurt the public health of our nation."

Perhaps these benefits should be paid for out of the Bishop's Appeal?

Who do they think can afford this?

We are killing ourselves out here trying to make ends meet while their endless supply of money simply keeps refilling their coffers. They have no idea what the middle class working slobs are up against.

Several weeks back the apostates at America Magazine initiated a discussion about how the cause of abortion is not moral decay but a matter of economics. Their answer was to give mothers 800 dollars per child. I tried to ask who they think can live on 800 dollars a month but the editor there, Tim Riedy, would not permit the questions to be posted. (They deliberately keep logic and factual information from their readers) Living expenses for single parents is a minimum of 62,000 dollars a year just to get by. I tried to post the breakdown of these expenses, which came from many secular sources - but again, Riedy would not let the breakdown post. Truly creepy what is going on over there but then again, should not be surprising as they deliberately twist the authentic path to salvation, the most offensive crime against humanity.

We're crossing the rubicon of people into the slavery of sin and poverty and the kicker is it's being sold as a virtue.

He was a liar and a murderer from the beginning.

Pelosi Should be Excommunicated Tommorow

St. Joseph whichamacallit... Pelosi tells us, today is particularly significant to ItaloAmericans because it's a day to pray to St. Joseph to benefit the workers of America and this is exactly what "our healthcare bill will do".

If you're going to hijack the Solemnity of St. Joseph to sell the government's slaughter of the holy innocents and sell your country into the slavery of sin, have the decency to get the feast right.

Even Herod didn't go this far.

Incidently, about 30 seconds into the video, she tells listeners that the little children as young as six weeks old talked about what healthcare would mean to them.

That's what she says, little children as young as six weeks old talked about what healthcare would mean to them.

Go ahead, listen to it again.

A miracle a lot of us missed.

As if these things were not scandalous enough to the faithful, she then goes on to cite her pleasure that every order of Catholic nuns who want this "life affirming legislation" to pass. As Fr. Pavone said, this does not represent 59,000 nuns, it represents approximately 59 nuns who signed it.

Pelosi deliberately misused St. Joseph and the Catholic religion to mislead the country.

If the Bishops gave a rat's ass about what will happen to this country, the people, the Church, the babies, the souls of the faithful, they would stand up in the public square and excommunicate Pelosi tomorrow.

They have the power and the duty to stop Pelosi from disabusing the Catholic religion to bring the culture of death into full bloom.

This is the moment.

UPDATE: I didn't realize this little gem.

But the actual feast of St. Joseph the Worker (same man, two ways of commemorating him) comes in six weeks. Set for May 1, it was introduced by Pope Pius XII in 1955 to counteract May Day, the high holiday for communist and socialist workers.

Maybe the House Speaker made an honest mistake but her transposing the two saints days already has the Catholic groups and blogs fuming.

That slip is no coinkydink. God truly has a sense of humor.

Uping Pelosi's Ante

Was it yesterday, or today...I'm losing track...anyway either yesterday or today Pelosi added a new twist to dismantling our country. She wants to pass socialized medicine without a vote.

In theory the Dems believe "Deem and Pass" would free the Democrats from being personally held accountable to the people thereby lessening the chance they'll be booted out of office in November.

Obama has refused to go on record on the new plot to overthrow the government of the people, by the people and for the people.

In response, the GOP is going to force a vote on whether they should vote

Adding a wrinkle to the ongoing war of words between the two parties over the propriety of using the "deem and pass" strategy for the Senate health care bill, the GOP will introduce a resolution "ensuring an up-or-down vote" on the Senate bill following "at least one hour of debate" on the measure.

Rep. Parker Griffith (Ala.) -- who switched from Democrat to Republican in December primarily because of his opposition to health reform -- is expected to introduce the resolution Tuesday, according to GOP aides. Democrats could move to table the measure or refer it to committee, but no matter what, lawmakers will have to take some sort of vote this week on the question of whether the proposed strategy should be allowed.

"By supporting this resolution, Democrats can demonstrate that they will not try to hide from their constituents," Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said.

Barack Hussein's idea of bringing the country to unity has turned out to be the most divisive President in the history of American politics. He's even driven the people on his side of the isle into mistrusting their own leader.

I never thought I'd say this, but Obama surpasses Romney as numero uno on the index of intellectually dishonest politicians.

Nancy Pelosi: Free Will to Kill

The rift between House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Catholic Church will likely grow thanks to new comments the abortion advocate made. Pelosi said in a new interview that the "free will" of women wanting abortions outweighs pro-life Catholic teachings.

"I have some concerns about the church's position respecting a woman's right to choose," Pelosi responds. "I am a practicing Catholic, although they're probably not too happy about that. But it is my faith."

"I practically mourn this difference of opinion because I feel what I was raised to believe is consistent with what I profess, and that is that we are all endowed with a free will and a responsibility to answer for our actions," she continues. "And that women should have that opportunity to exercise their free will."

Hey - Maybe Nancy Pelosi's Free Will to Kill could help out Charlie Sheen? He exercised his free will to beat his wife and told her if she every told anyone about the abuse, he'd hire somebody to kill her. He held a knife to her throat as she was calling the police.

Anyone bother to ask her how she feels about giving Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab the opportunity to endow explosives into his underpants and board a plane?

Killing people is so egregious that righteous people prevent other people from the opportunity to exercise it in a society. That's why we stopped the Klu Klux Klan and Hitler.

Madame Botox Sucked Into Waterboarding Maelstrom

Pelosi is caught lying and slandering the CIA

Accusing a federal agency of lying and misleading is a fairly serious thing, one would think.

"I think her accusations against our terror-fighters are irresponsible and, according to the CIA's record, Speaker Pelosi was briefed on what had been done," said Sen. Kit Bond, the senior Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee. "It's outrageous that a member of Congress would call our terror-fighters liars."

Obama's CIA chief, Leon Panetta, affirmed Pelosi is lying.

We are an agency of high integrity, professionalism and dedication," Panetta said in the memo. "Our task is to tell it like it is — even if that’s not what people always want to hear. Keep it up. Our national security depends on it."

In the pep talk-style memo titled "Turning Down the Volume," Panetta encourages CIA employees to return to their normal business and not to be distracted by the shout-fest Pelosi's remarks created.

"My advice — indeed, my direction — to you is straightforward: Ignore the noise and stay focused on your mission," Panetta wrote. "We have too much work to do to be distracted from our job of protecting this country."

In what may be the most critical moment of her speakership, Pelosi is under fire about what she knew of the enhanced interrogation techniques used by the Bush administration and when she knew it.

There doesn't seem to be anybody stampeding behind Pelosi to support her as she makes the wild claims. Could be, that in reality, not only did Madame know and not raise an objection, according to those present in over 30 briefings, at least two lawmakers thought the CIA should push harder.

Among the techniques described, said two officials present, was waterboarding, a practice that years later would be condemned as torture by Democrats and some Republicans on Capitol Hill. But on that day, no objections were raised. Instead, at least two lawmakers in the room asked the CIA to push harder, two U.S. officials said.

"The briefer was specifically asked if the methods were tough enough," said a U.S. official who witnessed the exchange.

Yet long before "waterboarding" entered the public discourse, the CIA gave key legislative overseers about 30 private briefings, some of which included descriptions of that technique and other harsh interrogation methods, according to interviews with multiple U.S. officials with firsthand knowledge.

With one known exception, no formal objections were raised by the lawmakers briefed about the harsh methods during the two years in which waterboarding was employed, from 2002 to 2003, said Democrats and Republicans with direct knowledge of the matter.

Individual lawmakers' recollections of the early briefings varied dramatically, but officials present during the meetings described the reaction as mostly quiet acquiescence, if not outright support. "Among those being briefed, there was a pretty full understanding of what the CIA was doing," said Goss, who chaired the House intelligence committee from 1997 to 2004 and then served as CIA director from 2004 to 2006. "And the reaction in the room was not just approval, but encouragement."

In another startling reversal, Obama is breathing life into Dick Cheney's military tribunals for jihad terrorists at GITMO, dubbing him "Barack Obushama". I guess there were murderous leches there after all.

Duly noted in the clip is that Obama is about to get around to..politically motivated firings Bush attorneys in the Justice Department. The communist media trying to get out in front of it claiming it's a false comparison.

More fun with this when the attorneys get axed. Duplicity is a beautiful thing.

Serendipitious Roman Adventure of Nancy Pelosi

I don't think Nancy Pelosi's meeting with the Pope lived up to her expectations.

The Catholics for Choice enterouge was hoping for a "real conversation about choice instead of this micro-obsession with abortion":

On Tuesday, Jon O’Brien, president of "Catholics for Choice," a small, well-funded organization that provides theological arguments to pro-abortion Catholic politicians, told The Hill that today’s visit between the Speaker and Pope Benedict would be an opportunity to highlight that one can be pro-choice and Catholic, and that there are much bigger issues out there to discuss, such as the fate of the poor in the global economic downturn.

"That would be a real conversation about choice, instead of this micro-obsession with abortion," O’Brien said.

Fortunately, a robust official statement from the Pope followed the meeting that made clear Nancy's agenda was ambushed for our micro-obsession of Catholics facilitating the killing of innocents.

The Vatican also ensured no photos were taken that could be misconstrued.

"His Holiness took the opportunity to speak of the requirements of the natural and moral law and the Church's consistent teaching on the dignity of human life from conception to natural death ..." a Vatican statement said. It said such teaching "enjoins all Catholics, and especially legislators, jurists and those responsible for the common good of society, to work in cooperation with all men of goodwill in creating a just system of laws capable of protecting human life at all stages of its development," it said.
It happens in every conversion.

You live a portion of your life rejecting some Truth. Rebelling, sometimes you even get yourself a good set of talking points to get others to join your rebellion.

You're as happy as a lark... until the zealots of Christendom repeat themselves reductio ad absurdum.

Then one day, the Truth penetrates your (thick) skull.

The disappointing seminal moment: When Christ promised to send the Paraclete, He didn't mean me!

What a let down.

The Paraclete is THE CHURCH!

Like a child whose limited experience doesn't understand parental guidance, curfews and discipline - and so it is with the Paraclete.

Matthew 18.

Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me.
"Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Woe to the world because of things that cause sin! Such things must come, but woe to the one through whom they come!

Was this Nancy Pelosi's seminal moment? I sure hope for her sake, it was.

Pope Benedict XVI met Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the United States House of Representatives, at the Vatican on Wednesday, both sides said in statements -- but that seems to be all they agree on.

The Vatican says the pope lectured Pelosi about abortion and assisted suicide. Pelosi says they talked about poverty and global warming -- and she showed him pictures of her grandchildren.

Mercifully, few of us have to experience a global rebuke from the Vicar of Christ.

It's going to take a lot of humility to spiritually and intellectually process what took place in her private meeting with the Pope. There is hope and there will be prayers on her behalf from many Catholics who have long suffered public catechesis that has mislead a generation of Americans.

Pelosi's positive spin on the meeting is not being swallowed even by left-leaning Papal watchers. Vatican correspondent John Allen, who writes for the National Catholic Reporter, noted that "routine Vatican declarations after diplomatic meetings also generally sum up the range of issues discussed rather than concentrating on a particular point. In that sense, the statement can only be read as a rejection of Pelosi's statements last summer, and, in general, of her argument that it's acceptable for Catholics in public life to take a pro-choice position."

Allen also noted that "by issuing an unusual public statement after the session with Pelosi -- which insisted that all Catholics, including legislators, are obliged to work for the defense of human life from conception to natural death -- the pope also made clear there will no let-up in the pressure on pro-choice Catholic politicians to change their ways."
Did anyone really expect Nancy to release a statement saying "The Pope made clear I am in error, my soul in danger and Catholic politicians must cease and desist from abortion activism"?

Let's not kid ourselves.

Really, let's face it. Ms. Pelosi has been warned and other Catholic politicians have been placed on notice. She didn't leave that meeting without knowing she cannot accept the Blessed Sacrament without confessing her sins and amending her life.

It's her lucky day.

These days are extraordinary. Too many sheep have been led away in the vacuum of inertia. If I were a Catholic proabort pol, I wouldn't ever again be hitting the pillow after a day of abortion politics without wondering if a public proclamation of my excommunication will be forthcoming.

Est zelus domus tuae comedit me
Zeal for your house consumes me.

Proabort Pelosi Publicity Stunt: Pope Poo-Mergency

Surprise, surprise. Setting out to prove abortion is not a real issue for Catholics, Nancy Pelosi, has lined up the press and will be heading to Rome to exploit the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ.

She is shameless.

This was a fun quote:

Rep. John Culberson, TX claims the "stimulus" bill must be urgently voted on today -- because Speaker Nancy Pelosi is leaving at 6:00 PM for an 8 day trip to Europe!

Humor aside, I'm looking forward to seeing what they will do with Pelosi's booty call, particularly after the recent revelation that Maciel accusations were mishandled.

be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.

Be Afraid.

When it comes to the competition of destroying both souls and bodies, Pelosi and Maciel are neck and neck.

In fact, even Maciel has a legacy of the Legion of priests who are leading souls from temptation into salvation.

I'm with Fr. Euteneuer:

"It is our hope that the Holy Father will not grant the floundering Speaker of the House what she surely wants and expects, a quick and valuable photo-op, but will rather give her a stern lecture on contraception and abortion and let her know that her eternal salvation is in danger," said Fr. Euteneuer.

"Further, this would be the perfect opportunity to formally excommunicate the Speaker, as she has done everything a public official possibly can to declare her lack of communion with the Holy Father and the Roman Catholic Church on every conceivable issue."

Every parent with experience at circumstances that result in a need to discipline our children can sympathize.

Look, the Holy See can be a gracious diplomat without permitting Pelosi to mislead a nation of American Catholics into believing they can defy and work against the Magisterium, and still remain in a state of Grace.

1. Privately explain how her participation in promoting infantcide impedes her own salvation.

2. Encourage her to repent, confess and promise to amend her life.

3. If she declines, privately tell her she must refrain from the Blessed Sacrament until such time as she assents to the truth.

4. Warn her that as a public figure defying truth and leading other Catholics to follow in her footsteps, continuing to get in the Communion line will result in a public pronouncement.

Otherwise, in this historical moment in American politics, the Holy See is an agent in the deception of her publicity stunts.

Christ did not carry out polite diplomatic meetings with Pilate in the public square and any reasonably prudent person knows the reason why. When they stood together, it was clear they were on opposite sides of the fence to everyone watching.

The duty of the Holy See is to faithfully guide the flock to Board the Ark.

Neither the Pope nor the See are in the business of granting legitimacy by way of diplomacy to those who lead the flock from the Ark.

Let's pray they take their lead from the Bible and Christ Himself.

Nancy Pelosi - 335 million in "STD prevention" is an economic stimulus

All these people who can't hold themselves back from sleeping with partners with syphilis are causing an economic meltdown.

335 million dollars buys a lot of condoms. I guess to an awful lot of folks in her circles, monogamy just doesn't come easy.

Pelosi is a vulgar woman, lacking class.

Seems to be the new meme of USA.
