Bryan Hehir Exposed: A Homily about St. Patrick and the Snakes

Another very interesting post at Bryan Hehir Exposed.

It seems Bryan Hehir is advising many initiatives that dissent from the teachings of the Church, including the scandalous Boisi Center.

From their website, they say, “The Boisi Center does not seek to advance any ideological agenda…While based in a Jesuit university, it will not take sides in competing groups of Catholic theologians, nor will it defend a specifically Catholic viewpoint against non-Catholic ones.”

Hmm. What’s wrong with this picture? Why would the Archdiocese want one of it’s most senior and apparently influential cabinet members using the credibility of his Archdiocesan official status to advance an agenda that specifically does not defend Catholic viewpoints?

Do read the whole post.

Kudos to Francis Marion.

Carol...Not only does the plot thicken but the smoke of the enemy at the doors of the church is about to choke us... I'm no scholar with 10 letters after my name but this I know; God will not be mocked. There is coming a day of reckoning for those who have rebelled in the house of God. The rebellion of Korah in Num 14-16 comes to mind.
The push is on here in the Diocese of St Petersburg for this Eucharistic Congress where Bryan Hehir is the keynote. How do these people sleep at night ?

This typeof issue is nationwide. Here in St. Louis, now Cardinal Burke "was run out of town" because of his conservative views on abortion and "kicked upstairs" to the Vatican where he would not bother anyone and could be treated as a "kook from out of town".
