Cardinal Dolan Appears on Comedy Central

You can't make this stuff up.

Can anyone say....narcissism?

The MTV music awards must have rejected him?

I must say I never thought I would see anything that would top THIS, but at least Barnum and Bailey is a family-oriented show that is unharmful to souls and our country.

They don't call him the Jovial One for nothing. He's gotta do something with his power-broker star having been eclipsed.

speechless...utterly, utterly speechless.

As rough a time as I think we're in for with PF, could you image a Dolin papacy?....shudders just ran through every cell in my body.

Cardinal Dolan is certainly a card. He's cut from the same cloth as so many of our local Boston "Irish Catholic" boyos who have watered down or abandoned the faith to make their peace with Mammon.Pope Francis left a beach ball and tee shirt before the tabernacle. Boyo Dolan leaves a Cheesehead and a jokebook.

I like Colbert but I knew this particular episode was going to be problematic. I watched about the first 5 seconds or so. When Dolan kissed his hand, I stopped watching.

By the way, just to clarify, the problem I had with Cardinal Dolan kissing Colbert's hand is that it *used* to be somewhat common to kiss the hands of a priest, because his hands are consecrated. But I guess we're *all* priests now...
