Nineveh is destroyed. Who can pity her?

I think everyone's jaw hit the floor in Church on Friday when the readings were read.

Woe to the bloody city, all lies,
full of plunder, whose looting never stops!
The crack of the whip, the rumbling sounds of wheels;
horses a-gallop, chariots bounding,
Cavalry charging, the flame of the sword, the flash of the spear,
the many slain, the heaping corpses,
the endless bodies to stumble upon!
I will cast filth upon you,
disgrace you and put you to shame;
Till everyone who sees you runs from you, saying,
“Nineveh is destroyed; who can pity her?
Where can one find any to console her?”

The photos and stories are devastating.

We've not seen the devil inspire his offspring to this magnitude and level of cruelty in our lifetime.

The madness is EVERYwhere. The spiritual warfare is intense.

Obama dropped two bombs and left the dying Christians stranded.

By the way, have you noticed the stories don't mention the hundreds of thousands of Christians? It's all about the Yazidis.

You know what I was thinking earlier today?

With all the sucking up the Bishops have done with Democrats, helping them get elected for decades, the whole lot of them don't have a dime's worth of influence to get them to do anything substantive, even when our people are being massacred.

All the boot-licking and photo ops and dereliction of duty in matters of the soul, and they don't have a chit they can call in to stop the holocaust.

I don't think the bishops really care about our fellow Christians in the mid-east. They're so zealous about us opening our own southern borders to these thugs. Don't these two things cause us to wonder?
