Cardinal Turkson Advises Christ's People to Sin So They Can Save the Grass and Flowers.

One of the Catholic Church's most senior prelates has said that birth control could "offer a solution" to the impacts of climate change.

Cardinal Peter Turkson, the Pope's leading adviser on climate issues, told the BBC that the Church had never been against natural family planning

He goes further here:

In a wide-ranging interview with the BBC, Cardinal Turkson suggested that birth control could help alleviate some of the impacts of climate change, particularly the lack of food in a warmer world.

"This has been talked about, and the Holy Father on his trip back from the Philippines also invited people to some form of birth control, because the church has never been against birth control and people spacing out births and all of that. So yes, it can offer a solution," he said.

Don't let the Catechism, Humanae Vitae and Evangelium Vitae get you your way, pal.

Here is a Catholic Cardinal who is absolutely, positively clueless about what the Annunciation was means and how it is applicable to theology on human sexuality and the reception of human life.

The fiat of the Annunciation went right over his head. In fact, the entirety of Mary's life went right over his head. And Christ's too.

The man is deaf, dumb and blind to the meaning behind Mary and Christ's painful effort and sacrifice to contradict Adam and Eve.

This kind of stupidity is not of human origin.

Please support The Remnant's online petition requesting Pope Francis's resignation.
An Urgent Appeal to Pope Francis to Either Change Course or Renounce the Petrine Office.

We, the laity, depend on Catholic websites/bloggers to vocalise our horror at the path this Pontificate has taken us - it must be stopped now. Archbishop Schneider said it is really up to the laity to defend the faith in these circumstances. “The clergy is very afraid and intimidated because they’re afraid of [losing] their positions,” he said. “The Second Vatican Council says this is your [the laity's] hour: be defenders and knights of the faith.”

I would imagine the Cardinal, along with his boss, think that this is what Mercy is all about, as the only environment they can conceive is that of the here and now. Don't you see Carol how out of touch you are with modern Catholic thinking. Don't you realize that this is all there is. Heaven is going to have to wait a long time for folks who think like this.

Here is an appropriate article from American Catholic: http://the-american-catholic.com/2015/12/09/horizontal-versus-vertical-orientation/

And I would also say Card. Turkson does not believe in the real, active sovereignty and benign loving interest of Almighty God.

That's really what this issue is about in the end: Do you or do you not believe in God and ALL that that implies. Or do you believe that earth (Gaia) is the ultimate reality and our highest truth.

If humanity can harm earth with life, it means one of only two things:

1: God makes mistakes. Or God wants us to suffer and His creation destroyed by creating excessive men and women in His image.

2: There is no God. Life is not of divine origin. Life has no eternal meaning. Man and woman are not intended for eternal Beattitude. Instead, man is biological matter without meaning or significance, randomly placed within a material world beyond which there is no higher thing.

As one of the "rabbit breeders" who has desecrated Mother Earth with ten children my advice to His Eminence would be to put his money where his mouth is and commit suicide.
