Easter Blessings!

I hope the foot washing didn't rob you of our Sacred Memorial of the Institution of the Priesthood and the Eucharist. I completely checked out of the torching of our religion by the Romans and the ignorance was bliss.

Good Friday at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross was magnificent, as always. There is nothing like veneration of the Holy Relic of the Cross.

As I'm sure most of you know, Mother Angelica died earlier this evening.

What a gift she gave to practicing Catholics.

Remembering back 20 years or so ago feeling absolutely robbed of my religion. The sophomoric and heretical stuff going on at the local parish level was unreal. You had to drive an hour to find a priest practicing Catholicism. We didn't have the Catholic blogosphere we have now. We were living in Babel without a network or the constant flow of enrichment of the treasures of our Faith. Finding EWTN during these days and being plugged into our religion watered my parched soul. I couldn't get enough of it.

She once said something like she would burn the whole kaboodle to the ground before she'd let the pagans get their hands on it. I'm sure she will spend some well-deserved time dissolving into Christ in the company of the Saints and Angels, but I suspect she will take a whip to the protestants trampling her apostolate soon enough.

Wait until she gets a load of what's going on in the Chair of Peter!

Here she is in all her glory.

You can't give what you don't possess. You do nothing but destroy. You have to spoil it as you spoiled so many things in these 30 years.

Pray for us Mother A! A thousand thank yous!

So sad for us here on Earth, disturbed too. But now we have another warrior in Heaven to help. What a great Blessing to die on Easter!

Perfectly said! What a BLESSING to die on EASTER SUNDAY!! Like I saw posted somewhere else, if Mother didn't make it, there is NO HOPE for any of us!! She was a real Lioness for Christ in His TRUE CHURCH! I think her exact words to Fr. Bonnet when he threatened her network: 'I'll blow the damn thing up before you get your hands on it!' I truly believe she is in glory with Our Risen Savior and Our Blessed Mother, no 'passing go' as they say. I often heard her encouraging us saying: 'Wouldn't you want to spend your Purgatory here and go STRAIGHT'? She surely did spend hers here, and had to suffer tremendously not only with her physical health, but in watching her network get 'watered down' by 'going along to get along' with wayward Bishops. Not a word from them about the state of the Church. And.....they are still airing Cardinal Dolan with the huge scandal he has going on in his diocese?! UNBELIEVABLE. What a courageous warrior for Christ in His TRUE CHURCH!

May she rest in peace. Mother, PRAY FOR US!!

I love you Mother Angelica! You have been the brightest light in the past decades for the Roman Catholic Church in the U.S.

Countless souls have returned to Christ because of your faithfulness and courage. Pray for me who am still in the battle.

Same here. Those that came to the faith outnumber those who are apostates
