The Grinches at Catholics United

Hope your Christmas day was filled with joy, laughter, love and the presence of our newborn King.    We had a great day here at Camp McKinley.      I don't know about you, but I'm not psyched up for this 'blizzard'.   I don't know how to operate my snowblower.  :O)    Guess today's the day I'm going to learn!

Meanwhile, here's something to warm the cockles of your heart...

I somehow missed this, but apparently Chris Korzen and James Salt of Katholycs United responded to Bishop Olmsted's stripping of Catholic status and excommunication over the abortion at St. Joseph's Hospital by asking him to reverse his decision and saying he's too much of a hardliner and out of touch with many Catholics.

In a nutshell, they do a convoluted jig around the 'moral analysis' relied upon to perform the abortion.   The teaching of the Church is that it is never permissible to perform an abortion no matter what the circumstances, even when the abortion would improve the health of the mother.   If a pregnant woman is in a health crisis, medications, operations, procedures that will improve her health are permissible, even if those procedures risk the life of her unborn child, but never an abortion.

It's a tough teaching in the circumstances these individuals were in, but it is the teaching.     The administrator of the Catholic Hospital was there to uphold the teaching.  You tell her we'll do what we can to stabilize the situation until the baby can survive outside of the womb, give her the best medical care available, get the prayers and novena's going.  If the pregnant mother of four made the choice to pursue an abortion, we don't chain people to their hospital beds and she has the option of arranging a transfer to a non-Catholic hospital.

This is why you see a dance around calling the procedure an abortion in their 'moral analysis', as in this Condomweal piece here.

 “ “The procedure performed at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center on November 5, 2009, cannot properly be described as an abortion. The act, per its moral object, must accurately be described as saving the life of the mother. The death of the fetus was, at maximum, nondirect and praeter intentionem. More likely, the fetus was already dying due to the pathological situation prior to the intervention; as such, it is inaccurate to understand the death of the fetus as an accessory consequence to the intervention.”

There are numerous flaws in this analysis.  The procedure was an abortion with the direct intention of killing the child.   The child in utero was not dying and saying 'more likely' that it was is 100% conjecture.  But the most compelling observance of their moral poverty was their description of the 'death of the fetus as an accessory consequence to the intervention".

When dilating the woman's cervix, inserting the vacuum to the living child within her womb and tearing the child into small enough pieces to go through the tubes and into the jar, they approached the procedure with the intention of permitting the child to live.  In the course of this medical intervention, the dead child was an unintended accessory consequence and therefore, it is 'bogus' (as Korzen calls it) to describe the procedure as an abortion.

The hospital has the support of the Catholic Health Association, the U.S. Catholic community foremost healthcare authority, Catholics United says. Taking a quick glimpse at other press releases at "Catholics United", it's quite a peculiar focus for a Catholic group.  In fact, I couldn't find anything that actually defended Catholic teaching.  When they "unite", they "unite" behind people people who procure and legislate abortion or pour ants over the Catholic Crucifix to blame Catholic teaching for the HIV caused by irresponsible sex.

I doubt they were edified with Bishop Olmsted's response --

The Phoenix Diocese issued the following statement: "Unfortunately, St. Joseph's hospital and 'Catholic's United are not in union with Bishop Olmsted and have no claim to being considered authentically Catholic, nor do they speak for the church in any way."

Why don't they just use the take away the right of "Catholics United", the "National Catholic Reporter" and the "Catholic Health Association" to use the name "Catholic" to set up an alternate 'magisterium'?  

Take the ax to the root.

"Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good"

A lot of fun buzz this week about the abortion lobbyists.

Jack Smith at Catholic Key Blog tracked down "Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good" and found it kaput.  Website stripped of staff members, phone disconnected, etc.

One of the founders of 'the catholics in alliance for the common good' was appointed to the Obama administration where abortion policies can be worked on at the highest levels of Health and Human Services.

The other founder was caught running a prostitution ring, including the prostitution of children and is now registered as a level 2 sex offender.

There was a handful of people behind the charade and with two of their most effective leaders gone,of course this initiative fell apart.

This leaves Chris Korzen and James Salt in charge of the Democratic National Party email list of dissenting Catholics with questions about what to do for the upcoming election.

The farce they are running now, "Catholics United" has pretty much been made radioactive and Bishops, priests teaching heresy and immorality as virtue to the people are afraid to be aligned with it.

The show needed a new name.

Chris Korzen has the big TADA!.  They are reinventing themselves as a news agency.

Korzen did not say when the news business will be launched or how it will be financed, but noted that one of the tasks of the new entity will be "reporting on the activities of CNA and EWTN."

Goodie!

After all, who would question the honesty and sincerity of this face:

The eyes sure are the windows to the soul, aren't they.

There's a way to use their initiative and their money as free advertising for our work while making them radioactive with our own initiatives so that the people who align with them are outed for their agenda.

Instead of CNA (Catholic News Agency), maybe Korzen and his cronies could be CAN (Catholic Apostate News)?

Or how about instead of EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network), they could be WTNE (Wisdom Termites Need Everyday).

Obama's Funded Group "Catholics United" have stepped in to "put a stop" to "discrimination"

I am shocked, shocked with today's news that George Soros' funded "Catholics United" has announced they are taking steps to "put a stop" to "discrimination". 

The pro-Obama group, “Catholics United,” has launched a campaign putting pressure on Boston Cardinal Sean O’Malley to allow the enrollment of a lesbian couple's adopted child in one of Boston's Catholic schools.

The Catholic elementary school in Hingham, Mass. decided to withdraw the acceptance of an 8-year-old boy's enrollment after the principal and pastor learned the child's parents were a lesbian couple.

Authorities at St. Paul Elementary School explained that the decision was aimed at protecting the boy, since the teachings of the Church regarding same-sex marriage are at odds with the lesbian couple's lifestyle.

“We still have an opportunity to put a stop to this. Boston Cardinal Sean O'Malley has yet to take a position on the school's action. If he hears from enough of us, we think he could be convinced to do the right thing and reverse the decision,” urged the Catholics United web site.....

“Discrimination has no place in our nation's Catholic schools. Help us send a message that every child is worthy of a Catholic education, regardless of his or her family composition,” the statement said. 

Discrimination, my foot.

This is exploitation of a child on both sides of the fence.   The Archdiocese  is willing to psychologically traumatize a child by indoctrinating him into Catholic teaching about human sexuality knowing full well that will blow the lid off of his relationship with his mother and the adoptive parent in exchange for "money".

They know what they are doing, just as they knew they could not open up an abortion business and take profits from it by sending the child in a taxicab to their abortion business at another facility.  They were and are complicit in the murders of innocent children.

These Obama initiatives and the lesbian women are willing to sacrifice the psychological development of their child as the first of a two-step process to silence the teachings of the Church inside of the classroom.

 As commenter Tom put it succinctly:

Indeed, it's a selfish and a cruel method that may be a by-product of a life lived in denial of the truth of marriage and the Church, but a method that whose goal is to participate in the decimation of Catholic education and Catholic institutions from within, at the mere cost of their own child's moral and spiritual development.

And, of course, Catholics who are being pressured by donors to keep silent about Bishops and Cardinals (even if those men set up businesses to kill children) refuse to weigh in on it:

Conservative Catholic groups, meanwhile, have been mostly silent on the matter. "I don't really have a strong opinion on this one," said Deal Hudson, a prominent conservative Catholic activist, in an e-mail on Friday. "It's a matter of the individual bishop's discretion."

The reality is, he doesn't have a strong opinion because Inside Catholic has been sissified by donors.   There are Boston donors who will (and have in other apostolates) withdraw their cash if you expose the corruption of Catholic Cardinals and Bishops.

Just take a look at their website now.  It links and gushes about the National Catholic Reporter and the Vox Nova crowd   You typically find things there like "Doesn't anybody like Obama's Nominee for the Supreme Court" and other such tripe.    Thugs and bullies drove conservatives from the com boxes years ago.  There's one or two lone soldiers left over there fighting.     Holding lucid discussions about as enticing (and effective for the Church) as going to a Voice of the Faithful meeting on a Saturday night to listen to the blither undermining and watering down the teachings of the Church.

The USCCB gives money to Obama - they bad.   Tom Golisano give money to Obama - he good., etc.

If you've got 10 thousand dollars you can shut down any Catholic apostolate in the United States.  There are two or three operating who will not be bullied by money or do not have the cult of personality thing going on.

Do you really think Deal Hudson doesn't know that toppling Catholic education in Boston will not infect Catholic education in the rest of the country?

If he does, he's going senile.

This is the cult of personality that has toppled the Legion.  This cult of personality is in every diocese and parish. Apostolates tare bought and paid for by people with money.   It's a game of who knows who and who has enough cash to protect whom.  O'Malley is being protected by a high-level donor.

The Archdiocese doesn't give a pony's poop about how many signatures of people Obama's funded initiatives can produce.   This game is about choking the money.

And that is where we have got to go with it.


I have plenty of access to high-level donors in the Archdiocese and I am a zealous woman who can put the truth on the table and use plenty of zeal to dry up some big huge hunks of cash.

You want to play games with cash?

Catholic Proabort Politicians are Despondent; Petition/Counter Petition

With the illumination that Pro-Life Catholics desire to give momentum to Catholic Politicians faithful to the tenets of our religion, abortion advocating Catholic politicians are despondent at the shocking news that they're betraying their faith.

They have never heard this insulting revelation before from the rock they're under.

And, they're dismayed that people are fundraising to accomplish their political aspirations.

Where in America has this ever been done before.

Senator Kerry is whimpering in the corner with a spokesperson who doesn't have her Bernadin seamless garment talking points memorized

“At a time when the whole cloth of Catholic teachings demands we work together to find answers for so many who are suffering in this world, it’s disappointing to see incendiary political fundraising rather than good-faith efforts to promote the common good and work together to reduce the number of abortions,” Kerry spokeswoman Whitney Smith wrote in an e-mail."

You know...the whole cloth.

The whole nine yards.

The whichamacall it.........The cloth without the holes.

In a good-faith effort to promote the whole common good cloth, Catholics United is circulating a petition on behalf of the catatonic Catholic proaborts.

Once again, operatives with strong partisan ties are misusing faith to achieve their political ends.

Today, the unfaithful organization Catholics United run by an official of your campaign, Elizabeth Frawley Bagley was limping along trying to get traction out of a story that Roman Catholics are tired of leadership misrepresenting dogma in the public square and are fundraising to give momentum to politicians who embrace our ideals to give us a voice on Capitol Hill.

I know what you're thinking: It's as crazy for faithful Catholics to have taxation and want representation on Capitol Hill as it is AfroAmericans. Yet, as a wise man once said, we have dreams too, that someday folks will judge Catholics by the content of our character. We shall not be deterred. We will not be intimidated. Our political dreams, of course, are deflated by a 2000 year history of martyrdom - but oddly, the gravitas of evangelizing in the public square only gets more zealous. Go figure.

Considering the divisive tactics this rat pack initiative has participated in , our feelings are hurt. In fact, we're so paralyzed and depressed we are being spoon-fed soup.

You have officially stated that you reject divisive politics and that's a good first step but more needs to be done, especially if their grassroots adviser God O Thunder gets out of jail. Together with our friends in the Roman Curia, can you send us 76.9 million applications for the witness protection program? All people of faith have reason to be offended by Catholics United divisive tone.

We are calling on President Obama to 1) clarify to all those who are stalked and threatened that he does not support these attacks on the Catholic faith and 2) ask Elizabeth Frawley Bagley to return all the funds raised by this campaign or put them to good use in this time of economic crisis by donating them to Catholic Advocate.

Please sign my petition and ask President Obama to help right the wrongs of these degrading tactics.

Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good Had Two Dogs in the Race

Deal Hudson posted a link to the Catholic Key Blog reporting new information On Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good.

This new revelation gives a whole new meaning to Catholics United "parish protection program" sending the sexually disturbed psychopath Eric McFadden to parishes in Ohio to chase prolifers around in parking lots. It was courtesy of Barack Obama. This only adds fuel to my conviction that the Democrats are setting up machines within the US Government to haze and threaten Catholics loyal to the compass of the Catholic Church.

Elizabeth Frawley Bagley is the board chair of Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good. As reported here earlier, Bagley is anything but nonpartisan. In fact, she has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to the DNC and scores of pro-abortion Democrat politicians including Al Franken, Barbara Boxer, Claire McCaskill, Charles Schumer, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. She personally raised at least $350,000 for the Obama campaign and was a member of his national finance team according to an interview in the Nantucket Inquirer and Mirror.



....However, one day after the election, on November 5, Bagley sat for an interview on the internet broadcast Paltalk News. Host Gary Baumgarten introduced Bagley as the person "who was responsible for getting out the Catholic vote for Obama," - a claim she did not deny. In his synopsis of the show, Baumgarten also describes Bagley as "an official of the Barack Obama campaign."

Eric McFadden's inability to restrain his genitalia, wasn't his only restraint problem. He also had trouble restraining his tongue. He would openly say that his stalking and threats were backed by Nancy Pelosi, Hillary and Bill Clinton, Ted Strickland, Burns Strider, who were all poised to publicly assassinate the character and mission of prolife Catholics by way of plotted attacks of intimidation using government agencies, blogs,the media and other methods of retaliation.

God O Thunder would claim to be invincible and backed by the DNC.

Hillary certainly gave McFadden's claim veracity.

Hillary herself:

At a convention of left-wing bloggers last summer, Hillary Clinton announced, “We are . . . putting together a network in the blogosphere.”

Her remarks became public only three weeks ago, on Oct. 2, when an anonymous person posted a shaky, hand-held videotape of her speech on YouTube. In it, Hillary bragged that she had helped create “institutions” which had produced a left-wing “network in theblogosphere” capable of “matching” the alleged “advantage of the other side.”

They called their "institution" the "Faith Working Group". The Democrats had Alexia operating Obama's "faith" machine and "Catholics United" operated Hillary's. Both Groups are part and parcel of "Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good". They had two dogs in the race.


The Democrat's "Faith Working Group", was indeed led by none other than Ms. Pelosi:

Burns Strider, one of the Democratic Party’s leading strategists on winning over evangelicals and other values-driven voters, will join Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) as she prepares to launch her 2008 presidential campaign.

Strider now heads religious outreach for the House Democratic Caucus, and is the lead staffer for the Democrats’ Faith Working Group, headed by incoming Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.).

Burns Strider blabbed about the group here.

We have direct lines to the candidate. There's interaction; decisions are being made. The faith office is at the table every morning, fully integrated into the campaign. Faith work has to be substantive, it has to be real in people's lives and it has to be taken seriously."

The Democrats know that they can win when they talk about their faith. The evidence was in the 2006 midterm elections when some Democratic candidates made their faith an important part of their platform.

Strider says, "We did it with Heath Shuler, Ted Strickland, Bob Casey, Tim Kaine and others by talking about their faith and no one turned into a pillar of salt. We have showcased the last few years that being authentically Democratic and authentically faithful is not only compatible, but powerful. All of these Democratic candidates are authentic and that's a good thing for our nation."

I'm all the more convinced they were all "sitting around the table" with "direct lines to the candidates" right at Ted Strickland's office and McFadden was using the resources of the State of Ohio to execute their plans.

The machine was and is well greased by the money from George Soros and the DNC.

It turns out that after I asked Strickland's legal team to check out McFadden's computer and they temporarily protected McFadden, the infamous Helen Jones-Kelley signed McFadden's "transfer". (I don't think that's going to play out to Strickland's advantage when I send my file to the OIG?)

Here's the kicker:

"Our practice is when someone is thrust quickly into the public spotlight, we often take a look" at them, Jones-Kelley said, citing a case where a lottery winner was found to owe past-due child support. "Our practice is to basically look at what is coming our way."

This from a woman who involved herself in shuffling Eric McFadden's after I filed a complaint about his computer diddlings.

When Strickland stumped for the job of Hillary Clinton's VP, he plucked McFadden out of the safety net and put the "Sullivant Guy" (McFadden) into a key role in the Democratic "Faith-Based Initiatives".


With the latest news that radical in-love-with-abortion Kathleen Sebelius is being tapped for Obama's Health and Human Services Chief, Catholics are publicizing Sebelius's abortion agenda and Soros and the DNC continue to fire salvos by way of the useful idiots at Catholics United.

“Had Mr. Donohue been interested in presenting a full accounting of the facts, he would have mentioned Gov. Sebelius's tireless support for children's health care and education, and her efforts to provide public financing for adoption and pregnancy support centers – all components of an effective pro-life agenda that can find broad support among the American people. Had Mr. Donohue been interested in presenting a full accounting of the facts, he would have mentioned that the number of abortions in Kansas declined by 12.6% from 2001 to 2007, due in part to Gov. Sebelius's advocacy for pregnant women and struggling families.”

“Like Kansas City Archbishop Joseph Naumann – who often seems more interested in scoring political points against Gov. Sebelius than crafting effective abortion policy within the reality of politics – Mr. Donohue is doing a disservice to those Americans who will benefit from Gov. Sebelius's leadership as Health and Human Services Secretary. We remind U.S. Catholics and other observers that the Catholic League is part of a right-wing political movement at the margins of the Catholic community, and urge them to view Mr. Donohue and his comments in this context.”

“None of these archbishops overreacted. Not only does Sebelius support the now outlawed practice of killing babies who are 80 percent born, so-called partial-birth abortion, she has accepted donations from one of the most notorious practitioners of this Nazi-style act—Dr. George Tiller. Moreover, she even hosted a dinner for him in the Governor’s Mansion.

Tiller has no shame for his executions - he readily admits he's killing a baby and he's graciously arrange for the baptism of the dead in one fell swoop:

“Tiller knows exactly what he is doing. On his website, he cites that one of the ‘Three Rules of the Practice’ of late-term abortion care is ‘Time, patience, and the baby will come.’ (His italics.) The baby will come?

“I’ve saved the best for last. Tiller’s Women’s Health Care Services advertises a chaplaincy program that provides ‘sacraments such as baptism of the still born [sic] fetus and blessings for the aborted fetus.’ Yet no one—including Tiller—offers baptism or blessings for shoes or salamanders. Just kids. We called and asked why the distinction between the baptism for the stillborn and blessings for the aborted baby. Chaplain Diane Warren just laughed and said they would do whatever was requested. But of course—it’s all about choice! The kind of choice that Sebelius loves.”

Catholics United also claims abortions have declined under Sebelius, even though they actually went up 6.5 percent in 2006 thanks in part to Sebelius failing to support any abortion limits.

According to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment report, there were 11,221 abortions in Kansas in 2006, up from 10,543 abortions in 2005.

Pro-life groups say the increase has to do with a lack of enforcement of laws limiting late-term abortions and a court's decision to drop 30 misdemeanor charges against Tiller, who has been accused of doing the abortions without a legitimate medical reason.

Letter from Fr. Frank Pavone to Catholics United, 10/31/08

James, Chris, and Team,

I received a copy o f the email you sent out (below). I don’t know if you attempted to speak with me before sending this out, but we would welcome such an approach in the future.

Please inform those to whom you communicate that they might also want to alert their pastors that a large number of people are ready to file lawsuits against any individual or institution who tries to intimidate or prevent citizens from fostering the electoral process or informing their fellow citizens about the candidates.

While we are not initiating any such activity, many people have told us they are ready to do so depending on what happens this weekend.
Pastors and dioceses want to avoid “legal entanglements,” and the activity you recommend here will get them entangled far faster than mine will.

Obviously, an email like the one you sent below would implicate you in such entanglements as well.

For the record, McFadden, the criminal sex offender is now behind bars on a $750,000 dollar bond to protect the witness from McFadden's intimidation and coercion.

Catholics United used McFadden to take photographs of people's license plates in the Church parking lot. I think the victims have a decent civil suit against Catholics United, especially since I've got the paper trail on the whistleblowing over a year before the execution of this day of bullying.

Boston, Jan 23, 2009 / 05:31 pm (CNA).- A Boston-area Catholic woman is accusing a social justice group of ignoring her warnings that a former employee, who is now jailed under prostitution-related charges, was a danger to women. She also claims that she was threatened with a lawsuit if she made her accusations public, an allegation the group denies.

Carol McKinley, a Boston-area mother and national pro-life activist, told CNA in a phone interview that she first contacted Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good (CACG) during the first week of February, 2007 to warn them about harassing behavior by Eric McFadden.

McFadden, who was arrested January 14, 2009 on seven charges related to promoting prostitution, was in the midst of leaving CACG when McKinley first called to report the harassment.

Actually, when I first contacted them on February 4th - nobody mentioned that McFadden had resigned from CACG. There are no crystal balls at the McKinley abode, but I never bought that story, just as I don't buy it from Strickland's office. Even Kelley's own story supports the fact that McFadden left five days after I sent my first correspondence.

Alexia Kelley, the Executive Director of Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, told CNA in an email that “Carol McKinley sent correspondence to our offices on February 5, 2007. By that date, Eric McFadden had already submitted his resignation. His last day as an employee with Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good was February 9, 2007.”

When CNA asked Kelley if McFadden exhibited any strange behavior that led to his resignation, she replied, “No he did not.”

See no evil, hear no evil.

According to McKinley, when she spoke with Kelley, she informed her of intimidating messages allegedly left by McFadden on her blog as well as emails sent from his personal email account.

There is no doubt in her mind, says McKinley, that the comments were left by McFadden because she would receive comments on her blog, and then on the same day, emails containing identical comments from McFadden’s personal email account.

Using tracking software on her website, McKinley was able to determine that she was receiving visits from the same IP address in Dublin, Ohio “nearly every five minutes.” On one particular day, she registered 82 visits from the Dublin address.

A copy of the email Carol McKinley sent to Kelley on February 5, 2007 detailed some of McFadden’s alleged rants and was obtained by CNA.

McFadden reportedly commented:

“Carol an other whack jobs come nowhere close to the message of love of Pope John Paul II. Do not soil his name by associating him with the heretic whack jobs. There is nothing Democratic here. It is the Republican Party that twists the life issue to fit its own sick agenda that is not in line with Church teaching. People like the witch Carol who aligned themselves with the Republican party have placed themselves in a state of excommunication and will be dealt with by Cannon law.”

“A law suit according to Cannon law has been filed. The heretic McKinley will be brought before the witches council for trial before the next full moon.”

Other messages, according to McKinley, accused her of being a “practicing lesbian” who donated to gay and lesbian groups and was not in accord with the Church’s teaching.

McKinley explained to CNA that, “I was extremely concerned that McFadden was victimizing other people, that his tone to me included strange sexual nuances and bizarre commentary that were the utterings of a very unbalanced man.”

However, McKinley claims that when she contacted Kelley, instead of addressing her concerns, Kelley retorted that Eric McFadden no longer worked for Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good and that if she made her allegations against McFadden public, she would be served with a lawsuit.

Kelley remembers the situation differently, saying she was alarmed to hear McKinley’s allegations, but that when she attempted to verify McKinley’s claims, she was unable to do so.

In hindsight, in light of McFadden's arrest and known behaviors, does this cause her to re-evalute the complaint made to her two years ago alleging McFadden was a predator?

She was "alarmed" that McFadden might be a predator but she invited McFadden and Patrick Whelan in their new initiative "Catholic Democrats"to take a leadership role in her 2008 how to vote for an abortionist Catholic Conference.

Two things of note in the above links, Patrick Whelan is frantically trying to erase any weblinks of Catholic Democrats that reference McFadden as his co-founder so you have to get that in caches - - and note McFadden's wiggy comment when NCR misplaces the crown of who's who in the Catholics for Kerry shtick. (n.b. Now that we know he was coming up for air from the back seat of his car between prostitute runs to post the comment, his notations about anyone elses "sex scandal" is tasteless.)

The Catholics in Alliance director also denied that anyone at her organization threatened to sue McKinley. “We said that we would refer the matter to our lawyer, one of whom she had already written on 2/5/07. We never threatened a lawsuit; and never said anything about her going public or not.”

McKinley remains adamant that her phone conversation with Kelley transpired differently.

“If McFadden tendered his resignation prior to February 5th, why would she take a complaint on February 5th against a former employee? Typically, employers will say ‘so and so is no longer an employee.’ I stand by my testimony. Alexia was rude to me, said Eric did a great job for them, that I was trying to destroy the reputation of a ‘good man’ and that I should brace myself for litigation if I pursued these allegations,” she said.

“I stand by my testimony. CACG protected and enabled Mr. McFadden and threatened the complainant. Laity needs to be held to the same standard as we hold priests and Bishops,” McKinley affirmed to CNA in an email.

Chris Korzen, Executive Director of Catholics United, was also a part of the conversation with McKinley since his organization is formally related to CACG.

Mrs. McKinley, who is employed as a legal assistant, claimed that Korzen would not give her an email address or a physical address for CACG's corporate lawyer so that she could notify the lawyer of the danger posed by McFadden.

CNA contacted Korzen on Monday, but he said that he did not have any information that would be useful and would not speak on record about the allegations.

During the course of her correspondence with Korzen, McKinley said that she had explained how in the summer of 2006 she contacted the police department in Columbus, Ohio because she was afraid McFadden’s words would turn into physical retaliation.

The Columbus police, McKinley said, told her that she would have to deal with McFadden locally by taking out a restraining order against him at the Boston Police Department. McKinley did not file a restraining order, reasoning that since she believed McFadden to be “criminally insane,” and that it would only make him “all the more dangerous.”

This cover up for her enabling a predator pretty much sews up whether her story is credible:

As far as Catholics in Alliance is concerned, the allegations against McFadden were out of their court once McKinley called the police. Kelley explained to CNA in an email that, “we deferred to them as law enforcement authorities to conduct an investigation. However, Catholics in Alliance was never contacted by them.”

In it, I say that in the past, I had found McFadden's behavior so threatening that I had called the police, that I had decided at that I would be safer not to pursue that course of action. She knew my contact with her and the allegations I was making was not under any police investigation.

Kelley also adds that, “at no time” did anyone associated with CACG “instruct Mr. McFadden to communicate with Ms. McKinley in any way” and that they “would never condone such actions.”

That is a straw man's argument and doesn't comport with the laws.

When your business is about executing political strategy and you hire an employee whose political strategy is to threaten, send numerous and compulsive messages with concepts that are unhinged, with inappropriate and peculiar sexual nuances - whether you condone it or not is moot. That's the nature of her business. There's a little thing called negligent hiring and negligent supervision that actually holds the employers accountable for such things.

Like, when the taxi company hires a drunk and they drive into a tree on the way to airport.

Or when a Bishop ordains a pedophile.

“In any event, it is extremely unfortunate that such vitriolic exchanges took place. As Catholics committed to promoting the common good, we emphasize the need for individuals to debate their differences with civility and respect,” Kelley said.

Following his stint at Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, Eric McFadden was hired by Ohio Governor Ted Strickland to head up his Office for Faith Based Initiatives.

Meanwhile, McKinley continued to receive harassing messages, leading her to email Strickland's office on October 10, 2007.

A little more than two weeks after McKinley made contact with the governor’s legal counsel Christine Thompson, McFadden had his pay cut and was transferred to the corrections department on Oct. 28, 2007, where he coordinated volunteer and outreach efforts for the prison system's faith-based services. McFadden held that position until March 2008 when his position was eliminated as a part of budget cuts.

Keith Dailey, Gov. Strickland’s spokesman, told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that McFadden’s departure from the position was due to his struggle with the job. "This was a leadership position and after some time it became clear it wasn't a good fit and it wasn't working out." "It was a mutually agreed decision," Dailey said.

McKinley explains her motivation for trying to expose McFadden’s past actions is not personal payback for the continual harassment she and her children endured. “I want these organizations to be held accountable for covering up McFadden’s behavior,” she said, charging that his previous employers are acting like some Catholic bishops did when priests were accused of sexual abuse.

Here are the million dollar questions:

Do the records of his compulsive sex postings indicate they were made during work hours of his tenure at Strickland's office?

When Strickland's staff got my complaint with information suggesting McFadden was an internet stalker and most likely a dangerous predator based upon my experiences - did they look at his internet traffic from his work computer?

If you hire a predator and you are given notice he is a predator and you threaten the complainant, enable him or shuffle him to a prison or in spite of the fact that you think he stinks at faith-outreach leadership positions, hire him a few months later in a Presidential campaign where you are stumping for Vice President, it's time for "change we can believe in".
