Cardinal Dolan and the Al Smith Dinner... WWJD?

I apologize for the infrequency of posts. My plate is a bit full right now. It takes me several days to put thoughts together and publish. By the time it's ready, it seems the controversy is not newsworthy!


In between happenings here at Camp McKinley, I have been reading a bit and thinking about the hoopla around the Al Smith Dinner.

I've read the Cardinal's response to criticism and the responses of the usual suspects who rush to sweep corruption and cowardice of our esteemed episcopal leaders under the carpets.

The message seems to be we are just not as holy and humble as Cardinal Dolan, Mark Shea, Bill Donohue (I'll get to him in a minute), etc. Their manifestos on charity in response to the objections of Catholics, explain, in one way or another, how they are all the imitation of the Christ.

That Cardinal Dolan would lead a crusade of our fellow Catholics to construe our objections as some kind of contest over piety came as a surprise to me. To use Bill Donohue's caricature of the fruit of his conversation with Cardinal Dolan, we see ourselves as 'the piety police'.

I want to state, right here and now, and for the record: I do not contest that I, Carol Mary McKinley, would come in last place in a contest for holiness. Furthermore I zealously concur that Cardinal Dolan, Mark Shea, Bill Donohue are much holier and pious than this miserable sinner. I have little doubt that others objecting to the Cardinal's invitation of Obama to the Al Smith dinner feel precisely the same way.

Holy, holy, holy is Cardinal Dolan, Mark Shea, Bill Donohue, et. al.

Nolo contendere.

Now that I've got that squared away I wish to re-affirm the factual information relative to the Cardinal's assertion that his invitation to dine Obama is the execution of Christ's maxim to dine with sinners vs. Christ's actual ministry as it appears in Scripture.

When Christ drank water from the well of an adulteress to converse with her,we see an interaction between a Jew and a Samaritan woman. The content of the interaction involved prophecy, enumerating the number of "husbands", disclosing His Knowledge that she was not married to the man she was shacking up with, affirmation of the Source of Divinity and living water, which He invited her to drink for the sake of her own salvation. He turned the lights on. Made crystal clear to her what the Source of salvation was, and that her own immoral practices placed her in peril.

By the end of his interactions with the sinner and other Samaritans in the village over the following few days, here is the fruit of the knowledge Christ imparted:

Those who heard the content of Christ's interactions said the following: “We no longer believe because of your word; for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is truly the savior of the world."

Alternately, the purpose of the Cardinal Dolan's dinner is to raise money for his Archdiocese of New York. Obama is booked as an entertainer. The content of the conversations will be telling jokes, political allies mocking each other over good food, good quality bourbon and cigars.

We do the same thing here in Boston on St. Paddy's day. To the best of my knowledge, not a single politician in the history of the event, taking a taxi home from the event three sheets to the wind, has ever subsequently showed up at RCIA.

If I'm mistaken, please correct me.

See the difference?

The content of the interactions between the Samaritan and Christ were interactions between the Divine Physician and the soul in need of healing and conversion. After the woman, the sinner, arose from sharing water with Christ, she walked away healed.

Year after year at the St. Paddy's Day roasts, the politicians walk away retaining their ignorance and continue passing legislation that murders and kills. Year after year, decade after decade.

Any reasonably prudent person can therefore conclude, Christ's ministry was not about sharing food and drink, telling jokes and laughing it up.


To be clear, Cardinal Dolan is not dining with the sinner for the purpose of converting him or anyone else in the room. He is not assembling for the purposes of salvation and conversion. Obama is his court jester to raise money for the Archdiocese.

It is absurd - and I can't even bring myself to believe it is in good faith - for the Cardinal or anyone else to pretend this gathering is about Cardinal Dolan's imitation of Christ's ministry 'eating with sinners'.

The Cardinal's actions three weeks before an election has the potential and no doubt will be used by Obama's political team to give the appearance the Cardinal honored Obama and they can therefore cast their ballots for Obama. When the Cardinal weighed the consequences to our country, to the children slaughtered under this regime, the sick and imperfect who are heading to the death camps to be euthanized in the next four years, he made a 'pastoral' decision to use Obama as his cash cow.

There isn't a single person in the room of the Al Smith dinner who walk away from the interactions imparted with the knowledge necessary to know Who is the Christ, the Divine Source of Knowledge and Salvation.

It will do just the opposite as the interaction will be used to lend credibility to Obama as the savoir of the world.

The Cardinal's objectives are about the sound of "ca-ching". Consequently, the Al Smith dinner does not qualify for theological clearances of the salvific actions of Christ.

This plebe is here to remind you that the Cardinal's event is about food, booze, cigars and money.


If the Cardinal and his flash mob of the authentic holy Catholic elite want to continue on their path of mocking 2000 years of theology, perhaps they should open up the Al Smith dinner to other notorious sinners so they can be really, really holy?

If Cardinal Dolan was really, really nice, the Muslim brotherhood would be invited to the Al Smith dinner. "When I was hungry you gave me food." WWJD?

How about the Kurds? I'll bet they are hungry. WWJD?

These groups rising in the ranks of our country, born of the race and economic hatred being fed to our fellow countrymen by the Obama administration? WWJD?

Making phone calls to turn Catholics against one another because his widdle feelings are wounded? He can't look himself in the mirror and say - Gee, I may have made an error in judgment (and theology)here"?

If Catholics like Bill Donohue are going to turn chicken sh*t when they get a phone call from F Troop at the Chancery, rather than showing up on Lou Dobbs to do the Cardinal's bidding, might they simply consider tiptoeing away to hide under their rocks? Leave righteous people to do the work they don't have the spine to do themselves?

Go on...take the money and run.

Archbishop Vigneron's Manipulative Use of Canon Law 216

The Bishops have sunk to a new low.

Catholic parents have been trying now for decades to have our concerns addressed. Bur rather than correcting the errors, apostasies, heresies, crackpot theology being taught to our children, our brothers and sisters, our neighbors, Catholics have been slandered, threatened, bullied and now, told not to use the word 'catholic'.

Meanwhile, back at the good old boy ranch, the Kennedy's, Kerrys, Pelosis, Catholics for Free Choice, National Catholic Reporter, America Magazine, the Jesuits and all other kinds of heretics and apostates - and even the pedophiles they ordained - are permitted to use the word "Catholic". Moreover, they are given the funerals of a saint in the public square.


It is not the time to say much more about these things, but I will have more to say after our return from Bethlehem.

Dear Michael,

I have read with dismay Archbishop Vigneron's attempt to apply Canon 216 to Real Catholic TV. The situation and all involved will be in my prayers.

I write to you as a Catholic mother to express my deep concerns in the battle for the soul of Christ's Church in this situation, and to encourage you to give careful consideration to the message to the faithful when responding to Archbishop Vigneron.

Those who promote heresy and dissent have robbed a generation of truth and our faith while using the name Catholic and they have done so without any intervention from Archbishop Vigernon (and in fact most Bishops).

Now that we are rising to feed the truth the sheep they have abandoned to the wolves, they are applying Canon 216 to an apostolate that faithfully adheres to doctrine? It pains me to say it, but with this act, it is faithful adherence to the deposit of faith Archbishop Vigneron is caricaturing as fringe which the faithful are not to believe.

I prayerfully urge you to consider the consequences of any public reaction that would witness the silencing truth as obedience "to Christ" and His Church. It is not. It never has been in all the history of Christendom.

I would ask you to prayerfully consider using the situation to bolster Canon 216 by pointing out Archbishop Vigneron's omissions in its proper use and ask him to apply Canon 216 as it is intended to be applied.

Before responding, I would invite you to take a month to prepare an "Exhibit A" to your response, which would enumerate dissent which has operated in Detroit - Catholics for Free Choice and other formal gatherings of apostates for which he has not used Canon 216. Index problems with speakers brought into parishes, promiscuity the children in Catholics schools are being indoctrinated into from kindergarten through college, public activities and facilities misleading faithful Catholics, which Archbishop Vigneron's does not apply Canon 216. Obtain the number of subscriptions to the National Catholic Reporter in the Archdiocese of Detroit, go through a year's worth of articles, indexing the glaring doctrinal errors and include it in Exhibit A.

After a robust list has been put together, I would then send the canonical response respectfully pointing out how the name Catholic is being used to teach doctrinal errors to hundreds of thousands of Catholics under his guardianship without his intervention and appropriate use of Canon 216. I would explain to Bishop Vigneron how his refusal to use Canon 216 appropriately, grants constructive permission and confuses the faithful and how this has led to the impairment of their judgment, to sin and a loss of sanctifying grace. I would point out how this affects their salvation and his accountability to the loss of the salvation of the souls in his charge.

Given the grave consequences of the loss of immortal souls to Christ for which he does not use Canon 216 to cure, his use of Canon 216 in an apostolate doctrinally faithful to the Magisterium gives the appearance of manipulative use of religious law to impair and impede an apostolate which has risen to relieve the sheep of the consequences of episcopal misfeasance and malfeasance (including his own).

To avert any scandal to be brought to the faithful as a result of the situation and still respectfully obey the Canon, one could add an 's' and an apostrophe to the name - ie "Real Catholics' TV". This changes the context of the use to of the name Catholic to the people involved in the project and those whom you target as an audience. Any Catholic faithful to doctrine who is fully participating in the life of the Sacraments of the Catholic have the canonical right to use the name Catholic. It is the Canonical check mate to the situation.

This would put the onus on the Bishop to attempt to prove the people involved in the apostolate are not Catholics in good standing. At the end of the day, this is really what he attempting to accomplish. He needs to be called to the table of accountability for it. Pin it on him. Let him wear it as a badge for the sake of his own soul, for I am sure that he does not recognize the intellectual dishonesty of applying Canon 216 when he ought not and not applying it when he ought.

I will be posting this the content of my letter on my blog and circulating it to other bloggers. I want the Bishop to know that I and others see what he is doing and moreover, Christ sees what he is doing. Worthy is the lamb.

Please Sir, May We Have Our Religion Taught To Our Children?

These are the days, aren't they?

Priests teach you to act on your temptations.

The Bishop condones it as the shining example to follow.

Young and naive, uneducated, without Sacramental grace, we go on a toot.

Those of us lucky enough to find our way to Truth come crawling back begging for God's mercy.

We sit in the pews with our children waiting for the priests to teach truth but they lead our children into temptation.

We do everything we can to ask them in charity not to mislead our children, our neighbors, friends, family and fellow Catholics.

You'd think that would be an innocuous request. But that is when the muggings commence. The damage these muggings have done to Catholics is immeasurable.

Here's the question I have:

What possible reason would they have to want Catholic children to continue to be led into temptation and sin?

Somehow, I think the devil is in those details.


The funny thing is, the 'nicer' these Catholics proclaim themselves to be, the meaner they can be.

There is a sword of Damacles hanging over the heads of Catholics who ask to have our religion taught to us. If you dare to do it, bottom feeders will dig up the things you did when you were severed from Christ's Grace to humiliate, embarrass and silence you. They make mountains out of molehills, slander and malign. The people who put themselves out there as models of kindness have a feast day. The crucible of the individuals pursuing the distribution of Sacramental Grace for themselves and others is a victory for them. People observing it, moved by compassion to point out the lack of lucidity and compassion going on in the feeding frenzy get swept up by the hostile crowd.

If you are struggling with sin and drag yourself into Church and ask for the tools for Grace, your sins will be exploited and pounced on by wild lions.

Let us face it. Catholics are afraid to evangelize because this is what will be done unto you.

History repeats itself. The predicament inside of the Catholic Church is the same predicament Athinasius fought.

It is one thing for us to be persecuted outside of the walls. This is our fiat.

We have a different situation on our hands: Our religion is being held captive internally.

It has to be freed so Christ's evangelists can be fed and fortified, new evangelists raised. The army needs more soldiers to witness as we follow the Mystical Body of Christ to our destination. There are not enough at this point in time.


Jacob was a cheater, Peter had a temper, David had an affair, Noah got drunk, Jonah ran from God, Paul was a murderer, Gideon was insecure, Miriam was a gossiper, Martha was a worrier, Thomas was a doubter, Sara was impatient, Elijah was moody, Moses stuttered, Zaccheus was short, Abraham was old, Peter was a liar and a coward, Mary Magdalene was a notorious sinner and possibly a prostitute and Lazarus was dead.

The Apostle Paul describes his own struggles with sin in Romans 7.

Take a moment to read it. It is a masterpiece.

I never thought about this before, but is it possible he sat down to write this humble revelation because was being bird-dogged... by the Christians?


I don't mean to be condescending when I say this, so please forgive me because I've just got to say it:

If you don't understand the apostolates of those being raised to free up religion internally and you're taking whacks at those doing it, you are deprived of spiritual insight. Your resistance is neither wisdom nor charity. You're not being 'nice'. You're gumming up the works.

Please, understand and just pray for us.The internal fighting over it is rocking the boat. Listen in the silence to God and do whatever He tells you to do. This is what He is telling us to do. We are NOT going to stop.

Catholic News Agency's Smear Campaign on Voris and RealCatholicTV

The Catholic News Agency has fallen to a new low. They're now trying to dig up dirt to run smear campaigns on Catholics who have had enough of the counterfeit church they've been raising in the US for the last forty years.

I guess the National Catholic Reporter thugs were busy trying to ridicule Fr. Z?

If you read the thread of comments - and I would encourage you to leave one there - it didn't exactly have the outcome they had hoped for.

Voris didn't file his annual reports with the Secretary of State. Big whoop. It happens all the time to people running nonprofits. They run on a shoestring, they're not savvy in entity compliance. In fact, the IRS revoked the non-profit status of about 30,000 entities last year.

The Catholic News Agency also dug up some kind of online video games that Simon Rafe created that has sexual content. Ok. The man has published an apology for the scandal and sought the Sacrament of Confession. I'm not sure what he was thinking but I've had a few interactions with Simon and he has always been zealous and orthodox. I'm sure the matter will be dealt with internally. Prayers for all.

There's been a few sniveling reactions across he internet. They go something like this: 'Good enough, this is what Michael has been doing to others. Who is he to think he is beyond reproach." The vultures flock to the comboxes and good times were had by all.

How disingenuous. It's the equivalent of trying to dig up dirt on a policeman and then when you find something, all the thugs in town gather to ridicule a man who has been protecting the common good.


The concept of confronting theologians with errors so that Catholic children will be taught the authentic faith and led to resist temptation is some kind of vice to them. Trying to take a person down who is protecting children from error is virtue.

This is the same thing the Bernadin crowd has been doing to us for decades. Asking to have our religion taught to us and our children results in character assassinations and thuggery.

You know what?

Knock yourselves out. We're all going to keep going. Our children deserve to have their religion taught them them and by the Christ, they will. Go bleep yourselves.

Oh, and by the way - no bull in Madrid was sold out.

A Goodbye to the Knights of Columbus

Wow. Michael Voris has publicly expressed what many other faithful Catholic men have quietly been doing for some time now, left the Knights of Columbus.

Many, many years ago, I naively thought the capes, swords and feathers parading in Masses meant they were men who defended Church teaching. When the Deposit of Faith, our schools, our children and the culture was under attack, they were one of the first groups I reached out to. I won't bore you with the all the details but every time I now see them in their ridiculous costumes, it generates disgust.

The Knights does fundraise and uses its sources to do some good work but sadly, the feathers and swords protect corruption, abortion and the political and theological indoctrination of our people into the slavery of sin.

Several of you have written to alert me that Mark Shea stuck more pins into his Voris voodoo doll.

You have to love the irony of this citation in his Voriscreed:

For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." But if you bite and devour one another take heed that you are not consumed by one another.But I say, walk by the Spirit, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh. Because I am constantly hearing from fans of Voris who think that his method of perpetually sneering at brother and sister Catholics, tearing down anything that he deems to be not "really" Catholic, and endlessly complaining about and sneering at others for their alleged "impurity" (such as singing "Amazing Grace") constitutes being a "bold voice of reform".

You can get all the good things he has to say--without the sectarian self-righteousness and cloddish theological blunders and over-simplifications--from lots of other sources. So it would appear that precisely what people want is his distinctive contribution: sectarian self-righteousness and cloddish over-simplifications.

We all have a job to do. Nobody this side of Colleseum has had the spinal fortitude to do what Michael Voris is doing. Putting Christ's Church above the need to be controlled by donors with cult mentality of protecting corrupt Bishops and Cardinals and priests.

That era is coming to an end. It will be painful for those who want to continue to protect it. Such is life.

Horrific Scandal and Stench Emanating from the Archdiocese of Boston

A few days ago,our friend Jasper linked to post written by Elizabeth Scalia cutting Fr. Pfleger and Cardinal George slack while denouncing Michael Voris.

The conclusion she wanted you to draw was that there isn't a distinction between the evangelization of an apostate priest misleading souls and the wimp of a Bishop who would assign him to pastor innocent children at a school - and those warning people about those errors and faithfully proclaiming Magisterium.

"The Church isn't a Democracy", she says.

That is exactly the point.

When somebody has a hold of a parish and is turning it from the recitation of teachings from the Catechism to the drivel of Al Gore and Joan Chittister, righteous people do not let other souls get led into an abyss.

It isn't a battle of opinions, it's The Institution that guides salvation.

If Elizabeth Scalia wants Catholics to support the appointment of Fr. Pfleger to a school where he will poison the minds of thousand of children while directing her complaints against people who want the Bishops to reign in dissenting 'opinions', she is the one trying to make the Church a democracy.

Picture your parish as a ship with a priest at the helm, and all the passengers trusting his guidance. As he is steering into an iceberg ahead, you warn him, expecting him to change course. But he doesn't and so you warn the passengers.

Have any thoughts about passengers who would object to the warnings and carry on about the ship "not being a democracy"?

You'd think daffy, try to convince him/her to get on with us as we run for the lifeboats, right?

The controversy started when Michael rejoiced in the fact that practicing Catholics are finally leaving parishes steering their parishioners into hell. We are leaving parishes that have turned the deposit of faith into a mission of Al Gore and Greenpeace and finding parishes teaching the Catechism.

This is precisely what St. Paul advised us to do. Moreover, it is what Christ Himself instructed when He said told us to shake the dust off of our sandals and hightail it out of town when Truth is not welcomed.

Lisa Grass, who did not want to listen to the Vortex but rather made a judgment on 'the name', has been saying things like she didn't want to be part of "a schism" and she is discontinuing her support of Michael Voris and Real Catholic TV. She has posted this which seems to indicate she does not believe Michael 'instructed people to leave the Church' but in other places in blogosphere, her comments seem to take the opposite position:

I'm not interested in being a part of a schism. I haven't watched this video. The title is enough for me to stay away.

But what is going on here, Carol, is that Michael is sowing the 'seeds' of schism with things 'like' demanding people leave over things that are not heresy. That's the problem.

Is it heresy to sit in a parish listening to drivel about picking up litter and being nice to people in the parking lot on our way out of Church while avoiding teaching the Catechism year after year?

You bet it is. It is the worst assault upon the souls of Christ's people in our 2000 year history. They have erected a counterfeit church. (Boston is way ahead of the curve. Cardinal O'Malley has put the final pieces in place for the full blown schism.)

It is time to acknowledge what we have on our hands, what we have done to a generation of Catholics and to Christ. It's time to stop giving them the money to operate it and get to a parish where there is a priest who is in communion with Rome, teaching what the Church teaches and keeping you and your children and (everyone in the pews around us) in a state of Sanctifying Grace.

It certainly isn't 'schism' to find a solid priest and parish for our families. I'm sorry to see Lisa getting caught up in the estrogen storms and gross mis-characterizations in blogosphere.


Mark Shea chimed in to say blogging blowhards are not Bishops or the Magisterium.

This is true. But saying it in the context of inviting people to dismiss an apostolate that is serving the Magisterium with faithfulness and courage and truth U really wouldn't rank among the smartest things Mark has ever written.

We have been watching priests say invalid masses. We have sat among our peers week after week knowing they do not have the tools to receive the Blessed Sacrament in a State of Grace and their lives are spiraling in the spiritual chaos of unworthy reception of the Eucharist. Our children are confused. We have been giving them our money to operate the schism which persecutes and silences priests who teach the authentic faith. We are sitting in parishes run by schismatic and this generation is floundering. The world is drowning in the spiritual toxic waste.

Does that sound to you like "standing with Jesus"?

If that's all I can give Him (and my children), shame on me. There is a Messiah and we are not it. The idea that we are serving the Divinity of Christ or the Eucharist by supporting the farce is delusional. Our presence is giving their false teachings legitimacy.

It's time to pick up and go. Find an authentic Catholic parish. By their fruit you shall know them. Head for the bunker. The gates of hell shall not prevail but we have simply got to get off of the boats taking our families and friends there and tempting through the gate.

God Bless and protect Michael Voris and his team. Lift them up in prayer so that they keep their hand to the plow.

The National Catholic Reporter - The Counterfeit Magisterium

In yesterday's Vortex, Michael Voris invited the Bishops to "do something" about the counterfeit catholyc magisterium of the theological crackpots at the National Catholic Reporter.   He asks many of the questions lots of us have been ask for years.

Why do they let the wolves carry their flock off into the wilderness and destroy their lives and chance at redemption?

What happens to them that they can't perform their duties?

What happens to parents, even the ones who should and do know better, not to hold Bishops' feet to the fire who are undermining the teachings of the Church?    If the science teacher up at their local school taught their kids the world was flat, they'd be right up there holding her and her principal accountable for misinforming their child but they go limp when looney theology is fed to their kids.

The weakness (and eclipse of reason) is astounding.  It's a hard thing to watch.

Bishop Olmsted Strips Hospitals of "Catholic" Name

Bishop Olmsted is a Bishop who sure makes it hard to live up to the 23rd Psalm. I want this Bishop here!

After trying to shepherd the flock at Catholic Hospitals, as promised, he stripped the hospitals of the right to use the Name "Catholic".

That's what you call 'pastoral'.

I can't help comparing it to what Boston Catholics were served up with -- contracts with abortionists with promises to give pregnant women free rides to get them.

Oh, and speaking of things that need to have the Name Catholic Canonically removed, the Katholic Health Association has issued a statement on the katholycity of the hospitals from Lady MacBeth.

NB - Sister McBride, the administrator who 'approved' of the abortion, was also excommunicated by Bishop Olmsted.

I would still be conflicted with Church teaching about contraception and robbed of the state of grace, if the people who told me I was separated from God had not had the courage to do so.

Priests and lay people have got to stop believing they are being 'pastoral' by letting their flock come and sit in the pews every week without telling them what we know to be the truth. The kind of 'pastors' who will let you march towards your death in conflict with Christ are not pastoring your soul to its salvation.

These Bishops are concentrating on the freedom to vote instead of voting for freedom.




As Michael says, it's got to stop and it will stop.

The billions upon billions of dollars we are giving to these Bishops to receive this insignificant drivel has also got to come to an end.    You know that old saying "you get what you pay for"?  Coming in the new year is a new campaign - "when we get what we're paying for you'll get your pay".

Hating on Catholics

I am reposting my comment in this thread because it is worth repeating:

I have been very open with my struggle (and ultimate surrender) to the teachings of the Church on contraception and the discipline of celibacy.

What I find most disturbing, is that our goals were twisted to imply we only want people in the pews who assent to the teachings of the Church. When in reality, our objectives are about getting people in teaching roles to either teach the interpretation of the Catholic faith and if they refuse, to replace them with somebody who does. 

It is either deliberately being twisted or egos with low self-esteem trolling the internet pounced on this opportunity to make other people look uncharitable to replenish their own vanity.

We are in a fight for the soul of our Church with those don't see the Church as a provider of sound teaching for salvation, but a place to provide others with fuzzy feelings - ultimately to make them feel good about themselves. At the price of other people's salvation.

This mortal creation is a counterfeit church that we are not going to hand off to the next generation.

All we care about at this point in time is gumming up and clamming up unsound teaching. This is the flare across the bow. Going forward, when priests and Bishops offer poison to souls, it will be publicly journaled in Boston (and other places). 

It is the most effective tool we have to silence dissent at this time. When dissent is silenced, our children can't hear it and that is all we care about at this point in time in the history of the Church.

Line up and take your places. Stay, go, throw barbs and insults at those of us doing it. Knock yourselves out.

When we stand up to those barbs and insults and we keep on holding priests and bishops accountable for the souls they are accountable for, a hundred more will have the courage to do it with us. And so on and so forth.

They wanted us to "Arise in Christ", well congratulations.  Here we are.

Karl Keating banned Michael Voris?

As a fan of both of these men, I was sorry to read about this.

Wow.

There is real pressure on media apostolates from Bishops and Cardinals who have been trying to hold onto the good old days when they could parade Mother Angelica into the public square and make her apologize for criticizing Cardinal Roger Mahony.

Amchurch has been sending shots like this across our bows for an entire generation as they've executed an internal schism.

Bishops won't be friends with people who do it and those who need or want the friendship of Bishops more than want to get the truth out so that the Vatican will step into the situations and intercede for us, they are going along with the game. I'm really surprised to see Karl is among them.


Boston, which has been ground zero, has a lot more in store for our country through the use of the National Roundtable from B.C. They have started the threats to de-fund parishes and schools who do not go along with the agenda.

With the advent of the internet, the Amchurch Bishops feel their fiefdom is threatened and are stepping up the pressure to ban, criticize, malign, persecute the people shining a light on the schism and corruption.

When people don't have the stamina and gifts to reveal the state of affairs and corruption, they need to at least turn their heads from the donnybrook and keep quiet. Shunning people who do it isn't going to stop us anymore. Those days are gonzo.

The Bishops vs. Catholic Faithful (The Second Inning)

Earlier this year, the USCCB expressed concern about how the Catholic media portrays the Catholic religion.

It wasn't what we expected. They weren't talking about the National Catholic Distorter or America Magazine, Catholics United or Sr. Carol Keehan.

No, they were talking about the folks making the judgements that these people are teaching errors and leading souls astray.

They were shocked. Shocked, I tell you, that there is a growing presence on the internet making judgments that make people feel like their rolls in the hay with every Tom, Dick and Mary are sinful.

"We are particularly concerned about blogs that engage in attacks and hurtful judgmental language. We are very troubled by blogs and other elements of media that assume the role of magisterium and judge others in the church."

They sponsored a webinar on the Catholic media role and their relationship with Bishops.

As you can imagine, most of us found some laundry to do at the exact same time.

The Catholic media relationship with Bishops?

Why that is simple. Nobody on any side of anything gives a rat's patoot.

That is the relationship.

Once upon a time, Catholics faithful to the teachings of the Church and the Deposit of Faith were trying to hold onto what was left of trust after the systemic rot of cronyism was brought into the light.

After the long and painful search for parishes and initiatives to teach our children the faith resulted in the Bishops attacking faithful Catholics instead of pastorally managing those teaching errors, they have lost faithful Catholics.

As we are all assembling to expose their corruption and teach the authentic faith, panic and pandemonium is setting in.

When American Bishops and the USCCB silences and quashes the National Catholic Reporter and America Magazine, the nuns, priests and lay people whoring the Word Catholic and misleading our families, children and friends, we'll start to take their outreaches seriously.

Until then, here's how to characterize the faithful's relationship with American Catholic Bishops: YOU ARE DISMISSED.

Modifications to Canonical Penalties Coming from CDF on Raping Children and Ordaining Women

As everyone in the pipeline knows by now, the Vatican is revising norms that cover the sexual abuse of minors.

These norms extend the statute of limitations from 10 years after the victims 18th birthday to 20 years.

Frankly, I don't understand the reaction of Catholics yahooing this change.  In terms of any kind of meaningful and serious reform, it is a dud.

Instead of scrutinizing the behavior of wayward priests making perfectly clear their ideas of human sexuality and celibacy are flawed and immoral, and ferreting out who among their employees is running around in the woods groping unsuspecting people or spending the collection money at the Copley Plaza and Brooks Brothers with a homosexual partner they are shacking up with - we are lengthening the time people can file a claim an additional ten years?

Can somebody please enlighten me as to why we are applauding this nonsense?


If anything, this has a negative impact on encouraging legitimate victims of priest abusers to come forward as early as possible, thereby giving the abuser an additional ten years to abuse.

This makes conducting any kind of serious criminal investigation to gather up witnesses and material facts, difficult and improbable.


Personally, given the experiences trying to report the conduct of Cardinal O'Malley's administration making profits by killing children (the process every bit as corrupt as when they were coddling rapists), I find this development ridiculous if not reprehensible.

Furthermore, isn't anyone conscious enough to see they are erecting a kangaroo court process by removing priests and handing out cash without any kind of determination of the validity of the claim?  

You cannot conduct an investigation with any kind of reasonable diligence after a statute has run. If you could, the Commonwealth would be doing it. That is the purpose of a statute of limitations. 

I maintain (and there will be more on this later) that Cardinal O'Malley has hired a Massachusetts prosecutor who is violating Massachusetts Rules of Professional Conduct. Specifically, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 3.1.

Cardinal O'Malley is setting up a kangaroo court that operates with reckless disregard for truth.  Rather than statements of fact, they are giving opinions under circumstances where time has made it impossible for witnesses to recall what happened.   Because there is no material substance of facts, Cardinal O'Malley's kangaroo court is libeling, defaming, slandering and destroying the vocations of many innocent men.

Meanwhile, back at the clericalism dude ranch, people are running out of the woods screaming and hundreds of thousands of dollars are missing from coffers at the parish level under dubious circumstances. 

Are we foolish enough to be pacified that they are giving victims of people like Maciel another ten years to come forward instead of owning up to the clericalism and coverups that are every bit a part of the dynamic inside of the Vatican as they ever were (if not worse)?

There has never been, and is not now, any serious effort to scrutinize the behavior of their own employees when complaints cross their desk.

This was, and remains, the flaw inside of the Catholic Church.

Let's have the decency not to applaud the fix that can take any and every priest out of service for a boodle of cash to any enemy of the Church at any given moment.

We are nowhere near, and in fact have yet to embark upon catching perverts and sociopaths and firing them inside of the Catholic Church.  All we are doing is permitting the sociopaths at the top of the hierarchies to take more victims.

One good (and amusing) piece of news though - the new edicts make ordaining women and other sins against the Eucharist, the faith and Sacraments as serious as abusing children.

This means that sins considered to be "less serious" will be officially subject to the same judicial procedures that were previously reserved in canon law only for sins against the Eucharist, the sacrament of Penance and sexual abuse of minors.  ["less serious"?  For example?]

Sins such as the attempted ordination of women to the priesthood and the "crimes against the faith" of heresy, schism and apostasy, [Those seem pretty serious to me!] that have until now been investigated by the CDF only on an extraordinary basis will fall under their official jurisdiction, thus clearing up any confusion as to where cases must be reported. In other words, it formalizes procedures that may have been followed in practice, but were never made official.

According to the July 8 Notimex report, possession and distribution of child pornography will also be declared "serious sins" and, in cases in which they have been found guilty in civil courts, perpetrators could be sentenced without a canonical trial.

The modifications should be promulgated in the coming days, bearing the signature of the prefect of the CDF, Cardinal William Levada, and accompanied by notes explaining the changes and the history of the legislation.

There is bad news and goods news with this development.

The bad news is, the Cardinals and Bishops currently holding office disobey and obstruct the edicts of the Catholic Church.

The good news is, the deposit of faith is further strengthened. The priestly raping souls is every bit as serious as raping their bodies.

And some day, there will be people who will carry out the edicts of the Catholic Church. Perhaps not in our lifetime. But, these are the days when we huff and we puff and we blow down their house of cards while building up on the internet, in Our Lady's Cavern, in our homes and in our own little communities wherever they may be.

Grab something and defend the faith. Hold onto your hat in the gale force winds.

By the way, there is another scandal brewing in the Archdiocese of Boston under Cardinal O'Malley. 

More details later, but here's a tidbit:  Jack Connors, J. Bryan Hehir and John Kaneb are plotting the removal of Scot Landry.  For those of you reading from out of town - Kaneb was the author/manipulator of the Caritas Christi abortion contract deal (and a fan of the Notre Dame Obama crowning) and Jack Connors has long been throwing his money around Cardinals in Boston in exchange for orchestrating dissent and apostasy.    And, Scot Landry is a member of O'Malley's cabinet, faithful to the tenets of the Catholic religion and has instituted many initiatives that teach the authentic faith -- which is eating away at the conscienses of J. Bryan Hehir, Kaneb and Connors.

As Michael Voris says, the goal is to tear apart, to rip apart the Body of Christ.  It is their intent.  They are ravenous wolves who hide themselves inside of the Church pretending to be faithful.

The destruction under Cardinal O'Malley cannot be measured.
